I found myself up in Sioux Center for work yesterday and as a group we were going to the fruited…read moreplain. I had never heard of this location, but they assured me that I was going to enjoy it. From the outside, it just looks like an older brick storefront on their main street, but once inside, it has such a cute eclectic coffee shop vibe that is putting out really good food in addition to coffee. There were a number of different nooks to enjoy coffee and conversation in private, a fairly large dining area, and a separate room that I imagine could be used for a large group or just spill over for the lunch service. I opted for their Panini that had ham, brie, and apple with a cup of tomato bisque. My colleague got the curried chicken salad on croissant (both our sandwiches were the half size!) with a cup of potato and carrot soup. A couple of the people we were with got their flatbread pizzas, which also sounded and looked delicious. I have become spoiled to this amazing pizza, the relaxing atmosphere and the excellent service. Isabelle did a fantastic waiting on us this evening. Tonight was wifeys birthday and she requested this pizza specifically. She got the Bianca and I got the PBR. Both were beautiful in presentation and tasted perfect.
