We always like the Stampede Pizza, chicken & 'fresh salad bar. And as always, the ice cream.

4.5 stars for this category of restaurant Don't let the name fool you. This is a good restaurant worth the visit, whether you live in the area or are passing through. They have a buffet daily that ends at 1330. The salad bar is surprisingly good! They have iceberg or a spinach/lettuce combo with nuts & raisins. The vegetables are fresh and they have a good selection. They have lots of dressing choices and other toppings that will make your custom salad awesome. Fir comparison, people rave about The Drover's (quintessential steakhouse in Omaha) salad bar. The Pizza Ranch's salad bar us significantly better. Their pizza is good. It is similar to Pizza Hut pizza when they were still pretty good. Their fried chicken is incredible. Their chicken is worth the stop...yes, at the Pizza Ranch. After dinner, they gave an ice cream machine with soft serve. The staff are very kind. The owner has been in Red Oak for 35 years after growing up in Clarinda. So, he's a local. The ambiance is nothing special, but they do well with what they have while retaining the ability to serve a lot if people. There is a private dining room, if needed. Highly recommended! read more

Pizza is ok. Fried chicken is great, with all the fixings. Salad bar is very good. Staff is very nice and on top of things.

Hee haw - my kind of ranch! The all-you-can-eat pizza kind! What a cool and fun place! So many things I like about this pizza buffet restaurant! 1) Super clean 2) Super nice people with ultimate in service 3) Pizza buffet - "any way you want it". If among the 10 choices of pizza, you can order one of their signature pizzas or a custom one. They will make, and bring to your table in 10-12 minutes. You are served how many slices you like...and they take the rest to the buffet. Very cool! 4) Great mission statement for this chain (check it out). Being a positive leader in the community, etc. 5) Super value! Buffet, salad, chicken, and other items including drinks (coffee/soda/tea) all for $8.99! Great!! For a small town like Red Oak, this is a BIG bargain. It also deserves 5 stars for being my new favorite place in town. read more

We stopped near by at a truck stop for the night and I decided I wanted to splurge on dinner. My husband and I shared a gluten free Broncho (meat lovers) pizza. We ordered online and it said an hour wait, but the delivery guy was here in 20 minutes. The pizza is hot, crispy, and very delicious! We also got garlic dipping sauce in case the gf crust had a weird taste, but while the sauce is yummy and buttery, the crust was amazing so it wasn't needed. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely order from here and maybe even try a new flavor! read more

It's a chain. Their claim to fame is pizza and fried chicken. It's an all you can eat buffet. For what it is, Pizza Ranch is very good. The ingredients in the salad bar are always fresh. When the fried chicken is good, it's great. They stock a full line of McIlhenny's pepper sauces, which helps if, like me, you want some fire on your bird. The pizza is mediocre, but they do make a competent taco pizza. Overall, considering it's $9 for an adult, and it's a great place to take the kids out to eat, Pizza Ranch is very good at what it does, and is just the ticket some nights when both mom and dad are too beat to cook dinner. read more

We entered at 6:30 pm typically a dining time. There where only two other people in tbe restaurant. At check out we where put on hold in the middle as the cashier helped a fellow employee whom was on break take care of their ordering. Next was seating, not a problem as no one else was in the store we had our pick. We almost, the tables had not been cleaned nor the floor. We found one table in obe section which was clean. Not a good sign as I counted 6 employees out front not doing anything and one even on her cellphone. As for the food, what a sad pizza ranch this is. The Mac & Cheese was no doubt from last Tuesday. No lettuce for salad. This pizza ranch is the worst managed I have ever seen. The owners should recognize that they could get more customers if only the floor was sweeped even once a day. read more

Not my fav pizza but good. Love that they offer Gluten free for my Ciliac son. Great salad bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for families and they deliver. Supper friendly staff. Ordered delivery of the daily special (large 1 topping), medium taco, and family cheese sticks. Expected delivery of 30 mins. At 1 hour we called. Pizza delivered $10 off bill for the delay. Check the receipt and they charged full price for the special. It's easy to knock down the price for crappy service when you over charge up front. read more

I rode to the Pizza Ranch on my Harley on 4-22-14. The food was excellent and the service was too!! Very friendly people with great customer service!! I will be back again soon!!
