I met my friends here for dinner a couple weeks ago and the whole experience was really surprising,…read moretbh, but in a good way. One of my friends has been here with his co-workers a few times but I haven't been here before. (Maybe one time many many years ago that I don't remember....) We walk in on a Monday night and there were a few people there. It's a small place so I'm glad we were able to get a table. When we sat down, the bartender, (waitress as well), came right over and took our drink orders and eventually our food orders. I wanted to try their renowned broasted chicken. (A device essentially uses pressure cooking and light frying to create a thin crispy skin and juicy interior). The chicken was some of the best 'fried' chicken that I've ever had, seriously. Super crispy skin and juice inside. Reminds me a little of Korean fried chicken. The texas toast was yummy, the cole slaw was creamy (if you like creamy slaw), and the crispy tots were crispy delicious. My friend got a broasted chicken sammich and he loved it too. (High praise coming from him.) My friends and I have been wanting to go back and get more broasted chicken since we left. On Fridays, they have a 4 piece special for $13.99 that I'll have to take advantage of soon. All in all, this little bar/restaurant has some amazing food that I just didn't expect after driving and running past it for years. Can't wait to go back.

Once food was ordered, a server NEVER came out to the table. Waited 30 minutes BEFORE going in to find out that our order was NOT sent back to thekitchen. It took 15 minutes to get the potato appitizer. And when confronted, the server was snarky and blamed us for not knowing our order was not submitted. The server thought he shouldn't have to tell us anything. Just save yourself a drive and time. It's just not worth the experience. Unless you're into people treating you like you're a problem.

We were seated right away, and it was a perfect day to sit outside. The hostess let us know they had workers outside, but we were totally okay with the noise, which ended up being very minimal. We didn't order any drinks, but for food, I decided to try the birria grilled cheese, which comes with one side, and I chose fries. Not only did it look so appetizing, but it tasted AMAZING. The bread had some sort of seasoning on it that added so much flavor to the sandwich. The fries were seasoned exceptionally well too. I'll definitely be back sometime soon to try more items. The food today was 10/10, and our waitress was very kind and attentive as well.

We took the family to 712 Eat + Drink for lunch and overall had a good experience. The food had a…read morelot of promise, though a few dishes felt like they were just slightly off from being great. I had the Cubano sandwich, which was good overall, especially the smoky meat, but I think the coarse-ground mustard overpowered the flavours a bit and dulled the smokiness a bit. A plain yellow mustard might balance the sandwich better and let the smokiness shine through more. The sweet potato fries, however, were excellent. My wife Laura ordered Emily's Salad, which was pleasant and fresh, though we both thought it could have benefited from a little crunch--maybe some seeds or nuts added in. Our daughter Alex had the birria tacos and carne asada fries. The tacos were tasty, though a little on the small side, but the carne asada fries were fantastic. Umai! (I am a Rengoku fan; if you know, you know.) I highly recommend it. Our other daughter, Sam, ordered the birria grilled cheese and elote fries, and both were really good. Her cherryade was especially refreshing. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, though the dining area and patio felt a bit bare. A few plants outside and inside would really warm the place up and give it more character. The music was pretty good with indie hits in there. I also tried the Old Fashioned. It was definitely strong, which I appreciated, but it felt like it was missing a touch of sweetness or something to round it out. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, and I'd absolutely go back and try more on the menu. Their waitstaff was top-notch and really were on their game. The restaurant has good ingredients and solid ideas--it just feels like a few flavour balances could be dialed in a little more.

This was a great spot for lunch! The dinner menu looks just as great. We were wandering around on a…read moresmall town adventure today and checked Yelp for a lunch suggestion. I'm so glad we did! The place has a small town vibe but could easily compete with anything in the Omaha metro. Talked for a bit with the gal that owns it. She was great! So glad to support a women owned business. I had a basic BLT and we shared corn nuggets. Pretty good. Husband had the lunch special, Tater tot casserole. My first thought was "I have the stuff for that in the fridge/freezer at home." Then I remembered that I have indeed not made it. They made it first so we went with that. He loved it! Not your grandma's casserole. The Thursday prime rib sandwich ($15) and Friday and Saturday steak specials ($25-30) will definitely draw us back. Thanks for a great afternoon.

This a local 'dive' bar, but a safe place to eat or drink…read more This is essential information about being safe, especially if like me sometimes I just want to try someplace close but small and local. If hadn't met one of their employees in a different setting might not have walked in. We had breakfast there. Actually can be pretty hard to mess up, and it didn't. Although, have been many nicer places that simply can't get you a cup of coffee. We had pancakes with bacon and eggs. IT WAS GOOD!. The waitress was also the owner. She didn't have much time to talk, but enough to know and trust that she wants this place to be good. We need to return for either lunch of dinner. I was told the kitchen stays open a bit later than several other places and we will look into it and probably call to confirm that as there have been a few times when whatever else we were doing coming home was too late for many places. Before finishing, Ambiance??!! Well. small local dive bar! The ambiance is just this. It is an old building and from what I have learned has always been a neighborhood bar. Had a pretty fantastic experience here for Saturday brunch recently. They do require reservations…read morein advance, which puts a $40 hold on your card. They were fairly busy, and honestly our food took a bit to come out, but I am still giving a five due to the overall experience and quality of service. Our server Melannie was fantastic and always present. We did the bottomless mimosa deal (3 out of 4 of us) and she was always coming around asking us what flavor we wanted next when our current was still half full to make sure we got our moneys worth. The champagne might not be the fanciest, but for $20 bottomless mimosas I'll take it. They have fun flavors in addition to the basic ones like strawberry, mango, etc. which adds an element of fun. For food--there were several things I was eyeballing but landed on the spicy chorizo Benny. It was really good, eggs cooked perfect, and came with hashbrowns. Another at our table got the poutine which also looked yummy. I'd say the food portion could have included a bread/toast option, however If brunching in Omaha i'd return to try several things on the menu. The vibe inside is chill, would be more fun sitting outside once the weather warms up. Since I was the one that booked the reservation, the tab got a bit confusing. At first they were taking it off my total, then the server said that hold would come off so I paid for my meal/drinks there. I did end up getting double charged (for both the reservation hold and my meal) which was cleared up with a quick phone call to their establishment---apparently it is a new process they are trying. I do understand though why they wouldn't want to just deduct the hold as then people that don't know how to tip wouldn't tip on the total, which hurts the server. All was cleared up regarding this mishap though so no complaints.

May 25th, 2026 Food:…read moreWaited a whole hour for an easy order... which was a mini charcuterie board with a plate of avocado toast... when it was served... it looked pretty and at first I didnt mind about the long wait, but I was disappointed because it tasted like it was made an hour ago but was barely being served to me a whole hour later.. so yeah.. not worth it and now I do mind.. a soggy toast isn't on my list.. Ambiance: It was a nice regular refreshing bar/brunch spot. But safety was a HUGE issue which is where I'll get to my point of this low rating. Service: Is negative zero a thing? That goes to the owner... the 1 star is for the decent service my server attended towards me. In unfortunate events it's not the servers fault.. but overall with the owner coming out, couldnt be anymore careless.. The Cause: Either the owner or a staff employee whomever that is responsible for setting up the patio umbrellas, and I mean those large heavy metal patio umbrellas, well, they failed to lock the pole of the umbrella and unfortunately the umbrella lifted and blew away and had hit a family in the face that were dining there also; instant noticeable bruising to the face... I was only a table away from them.. it could have been me too. I am disappointed in the lack of care in general that surrounded the scene. Little 5 ft me... was the only one that came to help while everyone else sat around and minded their own business... it took a long while until one of the staff noticed to help and then the owner came out and awkwardly said a one word-sorry and dipped... didnt come back to offer any hospitality, non-genuine and non-apologetic... it made me lose my appetite. They had the audacity to still charge the family their meal... but I had to tell these really nice folks to make sure they get comped back. It was sickening to me on how careless they were treated. I would never come back! I mean an exaggerating long wait, cold soggy food and careless hospitality from the owner himself. That's three major strikes. P.s. That same wknd.. the news showed up about a South Carolina woman that was struck by a patio umbrella and died on site... that says alot about lacking safety. Yes, search it up. It's real news.. Hope this help improves the business alertness. P.p.s. And although I was disappointed at this dining-bar overall... I still tipped my server a good $20 as the situation was out of their control, my server was still attentive towards me. They all just need social common courtesy in empathy and hospitality. But anyways, my lunch ended with bittersweetness with the family that got struck, they comped my whole meal for genuinely being the only one that was concerned for them. The only service I'm grateful for was that.
