Ok so I like it there a ton and I would definitely give 5 stars. The food is great and the vibes are good. However I am younger and I am friends and I know most of the people that work there. This is nothing new, but it has gotten worse. I will not name anyone but management and the owner find small things or just completely make up stories so they can yell at mostly the minor female employees. Don't believe me? Well, if you guys make this a big deal I'll explain in detail somewhere else. It's disgusting and I was notified today that it got worse. Thanks. Screenshot this and post it on local boards before it gets deleted. read more

I enjoy eating here I enjoy being able to create and taste my pizza and try the creations of other peoples pizza what I mainly enjoy doing is I'd order a plain cheese pizza with the spiciest sauce I can and watch other unsuspecting people take a slice and go to sit down and bite into it the look on their face as their mouth burns is something you'll never get to see anywhere else read more

Best broasted chicken, great variety of pizzas, wonderful salad bar and friendly service. Thanks for a great lunch!

Food was very good and surprisingly they stocked the chicken. Floor was very dirty like normal. They didn't take our plates either. The service was horrible!!! read more

I like this place and the food is good. Have some delicious crispy chicken people also is nice and very clean

Good. The place is typically busy especially on the weekends. The chicken is the best thing there. They will cost to make pizzas for you if you ask. read more

The staff were very helpful and polite. The pizza was delicious as Weil as the chicken. Dessert Pizza and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were to die for. Monday is senior day plus another discount during the lunch hour. read more

Stopped serving food more than an hour before closing and pressured guests to leave so they could close early. This wasn't COVID related just lazy workers read more

We were here on Friday eve. (10/13). Not impressed! Salad bar was much to be desired, people had no manners loading up their plates, & they could clearly see others were wanting food. We won't be back! read more

I love having a choice because if there's some thing I don't really like or get sick of right away. I can get something else. The ice cream and the cookie is so delicious. read more

We got into town late and we were looking for something that would be quick, easy and offered a variety of things to eat. Typical pizza ranch, wish they had a couple more salad dressings for the salad buffet. The salad portion was well maintained and super fresh. Service was good, no better than good, it was GREAT!!! Staff was attentive, super courteous and offered ideas for us to do in the area the next day. read more

Best pizza ranch out of all of them are in monticello. Love all the variety and they will custom make any pizza that you want. The Monticello pizza ranch also has chicken that's amazing and a salad bar to die for. read more

No complaints here, just a suggestion go when Taylor is working. Good service quick to make something you want not on buffet and works her butt off to keep up with everything. Thank you Taylor you are why we keep coming back. read more

Great place if you are on a diet! I ate fried Chicken and pizza. I drank gravy. Plus they have all you can eat ice cream buffet. Fine dining at its best! read more

This is an exceptional pizza buffet; a good replacement for what Pizza Hut lunch buffets were in the 90's and several steps above Cici's for a price that's worth it. They also have an ice cream machine so there is no one to stop you from making a root beer float with the self serve fountain soda. Turn down the Christian music blaring and it'd be five stars read more

Delicious! Ordered pizza and chicken for delivery and it tasted so hot and fresh. Both the pizza and the chicken were crispy yet soft and chewy. Loved it. read more

not all team members know things they all should know. management seems to sit back and not help or throw orders

Our family of 40 + had our Mothers 98th Birthday celebration there. strange ,I don't think so. She loves their chicken and it was great! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back for her 99th! read more

First time visitor this week, was very pleasantly surprised! Allison who was at the front register when we arrived was super friendly and welcoming, and all the others working were just as friendly. Food was really fresh and good, we had the tomato pepper soup, salad, pizza, mashed potatoes and chicken, and cactus bread desert. Kudos to the guys working clearing the tables, you made our day! read more

It's a pizza buffet, it ain't gourmet dining. That said, the pizza is better than you get at many pizza buffets. (Is it any wonder why Cici's Pizza bailed out of MInnesota?) They usually have a great variety to choose from, too, not just a few single-ingredient selections. They have a great selection of sides to go with their chicken, which I appreciate. I have been to this location a few times, and this location is my gold standard for service and selection. I've been to at least four different locations in Minnesota during the past few years, and the Monticello location is my favorite. (Alexandria and Waconia are tied as a close second, New Ulm was a notch below the three of them.) read more

Expensive for what you get. The pizza is okay, the chicken is just over average- the staff is friendly (but at a buffet there is very little staff interaction). Not really a place worth bringing people that live within a budget to. Much better options in the area. read more

This is one of our kids favorite places to eat! You can't go wrong with the pizza buffet. The serve a wide variety of pizza from your plain sausage pepperoni to buffalo chicken or bacon cheeseburger pizza and the pizza is very good. They also have a salad bar, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, along with other things { I just fill up on the pizza}. The price is reasonable and the price for children depends upon their age. It is a very popular place in the area. read more

Always a disappointment. Been in a few times at different times and never liked it. Tried delivery a couple times and chicken always over done. 5 times and without enjoyment. Maybe in few years try agaion read more

I know it's called Pizza Ranch but I LOVE the fried chicken. It's one of those final meal choices. If I had to choose my last meal on this earth it would be fried chicken and does PR ever get it right. Crispy, with not too much breading, the white meat is super juicy which is hard to do a lot of the time. The pizza is decent as well but for this guy fried chicken is the number one item here. Yum! read more

Went on a Wed. It was a fundraiser for a football team. Lots of young football players running around while a few bussed tables. It was ridiculously loud and obnoxious. Trying to enjoy our meal with that amount of chaos. I blame the supervising adults more than Pizza Ranch. This place does appeal to families with kids so there is a lot of noise. I love kids. I work at a school so I'd like to have a relaxing din din. I need to remember this for next time and go for lunch only. Just bear that in mind if you're looking for a quiet meal. read more

We stopped for lunch and they took great care of us. You can order specific pizzas and ours were both misread in the kitchen. The manager noticed, corrected it and brought the right pizzas to us. She boxed up what we didn't finish for us to take home. She was great! Good selection at the salad bar too. We're liking this place more and more for a casual, quick lunch. Great thin crust options. read more

All the pizzas were terrible-either over-cooked or bland. Even the soup and cheese bread were awful! Asked for a specialty pizza...in the hour we were there, asked 3 times about our order-the last time we asked, the manager promised it was "in the oven". 15 minutes later he reappeared to say "the pizza isn't coming-we aren't going to make it-but here's two coupons for a free adult buffet". Very disappointing. read more

Excilent family fun! Good verity of food (not just pizza). Fantastic staff and attentive owner. Must stop for lunch or dinner, especially with the kids. read more

The food is ok. It's a buffet, what do you expect? Since its a buffet you don't have to wait, which is great if you have kids.

Was there for Girl Scout fundraiser night - wow ! 10 girls were busy clearing tables. Very polite and helpful! Food great too. Love Minticello Pizza Ranch!! read more

Great buffet - lots of choices for the money and good friendly atmosphere. Been here several times and never disappointed.

The food is good. The pizza is good. The chicken is great....Keep reading...BUT if you plan on eating the buffet, make sure you bring something along to clean your own plates. if you actually feel your plate before you put food on it, you will feel a film of crusty food due to the plates not being properly cleaned. It's pretty nasty! read more
