This Pizza Ranch has an ice cream machine, so that's great. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, and it was brought out to me promptly. It was hot and fresh. Overall, the store was very clean and the workers were pleasant. I was at the buffet for about one hour. Some of the pizza on the buffet line when I initially arrived was still there as I was leaving. Most of the pizza that I ate, with the exception of the requested buffalo chicken, was lukewarm. Some of the pizza was over cooked. The chicken was atrocious. Again, overcooked, and not hot. I've been to many Pizza Ranch locations over the years. I've had positive experiences with most. The Marshall restaurant is an embarrassment to the name. read more

First time eating at one of this and will be the last. All i got to say is buffets suck. They had like 4 pizzas to choose from, the fried chicken was dry. The vanilla pudding and ice cream were the only things enjoyable here. read more

Terrible service! Busy Saturday night you would assume the place would be staffed with semi competent people. Nope. Pizza was half to 90% empty, chicken was constantly empty and cactus bread was so slow to come out it was immediately gone. Pizza selection was terrible. read more

I always go there for the buffet. There is no consistency in the quality of the food. Also almost always after eating their salad from the salad bar I have stomach upsets. Actually last time I was there the salad seemed visibly stale. However they do get you some pizza on the table if it is not available on the bar. The servers are not the best but are sometimes helpful. We go there because there aren't many choices for buffet food available in the area for vegetarians. read more

Though not inexpensive, I always walk out of a pizza ranch full. The pizza is okay. Not fantastic, but ok. Potatoes and gravy are pretty good. I don't stop very often but did today. NEGATIVES: No soups anymore. No biscuits. No more ToGo cups for coffee. And they only have two shakers of red pepper, kept at the salad bar. Both were gone, apparently as guests who like that take them back to their tables. So what do the rest of us do? They used to have red pepper flakes on each table. So the pizza that I ordered fresh was delivered hot to my table. Great! But no red pepper flakes. I now had to get up and go to the salad bar as the server said. Ugh. And then none there. So much for having hot pizza waiting on my table. POSTIVES: did like the salad greens with strawberries. Haven't had that before. They turn over the greens and other buffet items often. We arrived by 5:30 pm on a Sunday. By then, the place got already full and it got noisy. The service was slow and the young servers were rude and our used plates were never picked up. We stayed only for 10 more minutes, then decided to get home! Also to avoid the onslaught of people and bad behaving children. Not a place to take a leisurely meal. read more

I have been here several times when I go visit. Not a fan but my family likes it. The pizza is not of my liking. The fried chicken and the salad bar is ok. They did keep the pizza coming every time I was there and they will cook a special pizza for you if are looking for something. Mother-in-law likes chicken alfredo. I went here for a family get-together, and it was NOT my cup of tea. Granted, I am a food snob, AND allergic to dairy, AND I don't eat grains, so it was a bad place for me. My family ate and I cringed, because like the other reviewers have said, it's a "stuff your gut" place and not a "let's nourish ourselves with good food" place. The salad bar had stuff strewn all over it (bad for someone allergic to dairy). They deep-fry their potatoes with their chicken. The tables were crowded together. PLUS, you have people eating too much and servers taking away so many empty plates. Never, ever again. :( read more

So sad, got to Worthington MN pizza ranch at 4:45 PM and nothing was out. Was told i had to wait for 20 minutes before anything would be ready. Last time i checked 5PM was dinner time. I love food here but this staff sucks. read more

Pizza Ranch pizza is very bland. I don't understand the appeal of that. The crust is also lackluster at best. Other items on the buffet, such as chicken and the mashed potatoes and gravy are better imho, but it depends on when you are there. I do like how you can go back for more of the items you like, but I think the buffet is overpriced for the overall quality. The layout of the buffet involves a lot of people crossing paths when it is busy. Seems to be a popular place, based on the number of cars outside, but I can't really figure out why. read more

Well... I wasn't over impressed with their delivery. I am only here for the weekend furbabysitting and devices I wanted something that wasn't pizza. I've eaten at this pizza ranch before so I figured it might be ok to get one of their chicken dinners delivered. It took an hour after I placed my delivery for it to show up, mind you this is totally understandable to me, it takes quite a while to cook the chicken. What bothers me is that when it did show up it was way over cooked. The dinner is supposed to consist of 2 pieces of chicken, wedges, coleslaw and biscuit. I received 2 over cooked pieces of chicken and a box full of some very disturbing wedges. They were cut so big they nearly looked like half a potato... You would think that it taking an hour to prepare they would have plenty of time to include everything in the delivery. I am rather sad about the biscuit and coleslaw... Perhaps that would have been edible :( On a plus note the driver was nice and my dessert pizza was amazing. read more

The quality of the food is not near as good as when it first opened. To bad as I liked to go there and now I can't get anyone to join me there anymore. The chicken is over cooked or it is reheated and no longer good. read more
