The speed with which our food came was surprising. It's kinda like a bar but not a bar. Hard to describe. We rarely eat pizza so it took a bit to decide. Some interest choices on the menu. It's NY style so big slices. It was awesome. The cook was perfect. Seasonings perfect and the feel of the place matched as well. It's pretty much serve yourself outside of when they bring your order. I'm good with that. We had a great time a med group of 6. It's hard to get kids together anymore. We sat at a nice long high top table. Thin and long. I thought it was perfect. We pass the plates and go. Parking could be tough some times but they have parking in the back as well as along the street If your wanting to have a quiet low stress pizza either by the NY slice or a large. Stop in. Ooh and someone beside us got an amazing looking sandwich so don't sleep on them. I'll try that next time In case I confused anyone. I highly recommend this place. Never have I ever experienced this type of service before. It's not my problem to help a person leave yet alone if I'm paying for a service I have not yet received. In what world does it make sense to pay for food/service not yet received?

While I know Alfredo is not Italian, it is my fav dish of theirs and the plate sizes are massive. They also have great sized garlic rolls and their stuffed mushrooms are absolutely amazing. The only thing I will warn is while their pizza is handmade and amazing, it only comes in one size an is only enough for one person. Service is top tier as well, very friendly staff and they have plenty of patience for children. The ambiance is calm and relaxed with an open floor plan, the ONLY thing I don't like is when you walk in, it kind of smells like old mop water so don't know what kind of cleaner they use but they need to switch that up lol Otherwise it is extremely clean and well kept with no dust built up and their silverware is always spotless

We'd tried a couple of other pizzas around town, but it wasn't until we had the pizza at Ziggy's on their third day of operation that we knew we'd found our go-to pizza place here in MHK. The pizza surprised us in the best way. It's square. It's thin--not your typical pan-fried, not quite Neapolitan, not Detroit style--it's sort of on a league of its own. Personally, I'm not a fan of crust (blasphemy, I know!) but I ate every bit of the one on this pizza. We went with their namesake, Ziggy Pizza, which is basically like their version of a supreme. It was perfect--nice sauce, great crust, and fresh veggies. We also tried the salad (just okay) and their cheesy garlic bread. The ranch with the salad was a standout. It seems to be made in-house. The cheesy garlic bread though--you've gotta do it! It's Texas-toast style pieces covered in cheese with a strong garlic flavor. It was so good I could see myself ordering just this as a snack someday. We didn't try any of their drinks, but are exited to go back and try some during one of their happy hours or their promo nights with discounts. The service was good, but could be even better as they continue to work out the new-restaurant kinks. I'd also note that this is their third location. With two in Wichita already, it's clear why they have a bit of a cult like following amongst those who have visited them before.

There was a weird taste I wasn't expecting. Wasn't bad but not my favorite. To be honest it almost had a cinnamon taste to it. Couldn't put my finger on it but it was different. Anyway, I got seated right away and then it was incredibly slow after that. The place was hoppin' but there didn't seem to be any sort of organization to the seating. The ladies seating just told me to pick a clean table and a waitress would be with me. Well, that took forever for anyone to notice I was sitting there. Once I got a menu it took a good bit for my actual waitress to stop and take my drink order and then finally come back for my order. The long wait continued. There were several tables seated after me that got their food before I did. I was about to give up and pay for my drink and leave when my pizza arrived. So the organization needs to improve. It's understandable that they are busy, but it just seemed like disorganized chaos. The atmosphere is pretty cool though. The outdoor section is really neat and well done. The interior is awesome. I don't want to be completely negative. I'm from out of town and this place appears to be new, so that might be what I'm experiencing. It is a little loud, but not a deal breaker for me. I'd like to try another pizza sometime and see if I have the same experience. My experience was a 3 star but could easily be 4. So give it a go. I will say parking was confusing. There isn't hardly any. I did notice after I was seated that there was street parking on the other side of the street. Not being from here though it was challenging. I lucked out and parallel parked next to the restaurant in this drive through area. Anyway, give it a go.
