We were immediately greeted by a very nice server who took care of all the tables, and kept up with incoming customers amazingly well. We ordered wine and beer, a limited selection but just fine in this welcoming atmosphere. The pizzas, and we ordered Smalls, were very generously topped, and not just thrown together. Hand tossed crust with a satisfying crunch and delicious, savory, fresh toppings. We couldn't stop telling our server how very good they were! Incredible. We visited at the end of summer last year to discover new ownership and a revamped menu. Everything was incredible. Our family literally talked about it for weeks. We came back to town this weekend and had our fingers crossed that it wasn't just a one hit wonder. AND IT WAS EVEN BETTER!!! Everything was incredible. From the salads to the appetizers to the pizza and even the desert pizza! The service was perfect. Totally accommodating to our large group and even encouraged my wife and niece to dance while the song they selected on the jukebox played and our server turned the volume up for them! We talked with the new owner as she shared her vision for the place and how important quality ingredients were for her recipes. You can absolutely tell. The food rivals any pizzeria we frequent in Tulsa or any other place we've been. So excited to eat here all summer and enjoy evenings on the deck listening to the live music they book after a day on the lake. We stopped in because it's the perfect spot for dinner after a round of golf at Sequoyah! We got there only about 40 minutes before they closed, but they were very nice! We weren't rushed at all and our server was young and super great. It's got the best little patio to eat outside! And a juke box inside! Now, the pizza! It's SO good. Like seriously good pizza. Let's start with the most pressing urgent issue. The summer heat of 2024. If you are camping in your sweat lodge tent, Easy Bake Oven RV, boating in the blistering sun or simmering in the scalding waters of nearby Ft. Gibson Lake's, Taylor's Ferry Beach, you need to find cool. The Pizza Port is your port of call, a haven of endless refrigerated air. My wife and I pulled up at the Pizza Port midafternoon. It is hot. I checked the batteries in my Life Alert, in case I went down from the heat on the trip to the front door of the restaurant. We jumped out and made a run for it. We are inside and it feels good! The Pizza Port is a safe harbor from the heat with magnificent air-conditioning! You can't eat in the heat. (However, outside dining on a cozy deck is available, if you are wet and smelly from camping.) We are cool; this feels good. Let's get some pizza. Keep it simple. Medium, thin crust sausage pizza for us. The medium is big. The large is about the size of a boat trailer tire. The pizza was flooded with waves of sausage and melted cheese. As I pulled a big slice from the pan the mooring ropes of Mozzarella stretched long to prevent the slice from drifting away. The first bite, the crispy bottom of the crust meets the top of your tongue. You know this pizza going to be good. Then comes the armada of flavor: fresh savory sausage, melted cheese and tomato sauce. This is a delicious loaded meaty pizza. The good kind of pizza, not that NY stuff. Plenty left over. We filled up the cargo hull of a cardboard to go box and left port with half of the remaining pizza. When we got home, I had to have one more slice before putting the leftovers in the refrigerator. After the pizza was served, the Pizza Port Harbor Master (the owner), dusted the flour off of his hands and came out from the gally to visit with us. A very nice guy, truly interested in providing good food and a pleasurable dining experience for his customers. He has an interesting business background. After years of managing his successful businesses in the Tulsa area, he sold them and moved to the lake. Obviously not to retire. His experience working with people and a familiarity with operating ovens probably made it and easy transition to dealing with the public and cooking pizza. Say hello to him if you get the opportunity. The Pizza Port is open for business. The best pizza between Wagoner and Tahlequah. We stopped in here for lunch today and we really enjoyed it. We each had a small pizza, he had pepperoni and I had chicken with pesto. Crust was perfect for us. Thin, crispy and delicious. Pesto is delicious! Had a size to dip bread in also. We also shared a piece of pecan pie and OMG-my husband said it taste like when his Grandma made it. Truly delicious piece of pie that I highly recommend. We also had great service! Overall great stop and we look forward to coming back again. read more

One word to explain this place would be fantastic!. My son and I always like to try new pizza places whenever we travel, so on our trip to Fort Gibson Lake for a boys fishing trip, we had to find a pizza joint. From the reviews, I read prior to our visit. It looked like it was out spot this year and so glad for Yelp because they came through with flying colors. The service was exceptional and the pizza was delicious. We also got the sausage bites which were exceptional. First the ambiance is great casual and welcoming, Dining indoors and patio with live entertainment on weekends. We came strictly for great pizza and that is exactly what we were served. Spouse had his favorite a Hawaiian pizza and I had the chicken Alfredo but tweaked it with a pesto replacement for the Alfredo. The crust was perfection and the pies were so good we ended up eating the leftovers later that day. Now the staff were outgoing and helpful regarding the questions on local places and also menu. Aside from those topics we all enjoyed chatting like long lost friends about everything else. The owner came out in apron and flour dusting from hand tossing pizza to inquire on our dinner experience. Again talking with him was so much fun and we readily saw how much pride he takes in his place and menu. I do not plan to seek another pizza or sandwich place. This will be my go to from now on! And coming from east coast origin I do know regional pizza and believe me when I say this is like going home and true hand made tastes. read more

Don't go with first impressions. When we walked in a table still had dishes on it from a previous group but know one in sight. The waitress may have been new because she seemed a little unsure of things. There were 4 of us and she brought one menu. Didn't ask us what salad dressing we wanted on our salads. However, the waitress was really nice and did a great job of making sure we had everything once we ordered. The pizzas were very good, perhaps one of the better pizzas I have had in a while. My grandpa asked for ice and waited for like 5 minutes he ended up getting up and asking staff at the front counter. We understand there are only 4 people there two people training and one wittiness and one cook we are the only ones in the restaurant And we had to get up and get our waitress to take our order because she was making a drink for the chef which out of a qt bottle staff is only talking to each other haven't said a word to us . We've been here an hour we walked in at 3:04 and it's now 3:55 my grandpa ended up eating a candy bars Because it Took so long for our food .
