Average food. Great service…read more.. We stopped in for a quick bite. Generally we eat at the Baldachin when in Merrickville, but decided on Mainstreet this time. I had the "Philly Cheesesteak". It wasn't really traditional but it was good. The fries are average frozen fair. Beer menu leaves much to be desired too... It's not a bad place...Just easily forgotten...

I went at an odd time at 2pm on purpose as I loathe lines.. it worked out! U couldn't miss the balloons out front. Fun! The pizza was hot, fresh, pepperoni. Zippy sauce, the way I like it. I had a couple of pieces and froze the rest. I had a small piece for breakfast for days! Would recommend and I did feel appreciated! Everything is so expensive these days so it was a nice reprieve.

Pairs well with the flavour of the sausage. Would get again. Would have gotten 5 stars with better service.

Ordered hummus, a creamy and perfect consistency with balanced ingredients (wiped the bowl clean) and 2 large akawi and zaatar & vegetables manakeesh. The large pies are stretched out and have a thinner crust but taste amazing. The zaatar was tangy, the way I like it. Food was excellent! A bowl of vegetables; pickles, sliced cucumber, tomatoes, olives and onions accompanied the meal. Portions are generous and the people working there, especially our server, Ahmad, are very friendly and helpful.

Thats nobody's fault we needed two tables. However, the kitchen is extremely slow. We got some plates at 12:50 4 out of the 8. I got my mish mash omelette in the first group. I waited a bit but wanted to eat before it was cold. I almost had time to finish before the other 4 came out. We left a little before 2. The place had many free table at 11:30 would recommend to come a bit later if you dont want to have a long wait. My omelette was a big one but did not have much meat, veggies or cheese. It was dense I was told they use 5 eggs. It was very dry and crispy not in a good way. I like my omelette better filled and fluffy. My partner had the steak Benedict. He enjoyed it a lot. I tried it was tasty. He received his plate later and I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture.

We planned to celebrate Father's Day here with our family group of seven, only to be told that the…read morerestaurant would not accommodate parties larger than six. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Father's Day is one of the busiest family dining days of the year, and refusing to seat a family because there was one extra person seems completely unreasonable. We were looking forward to celebrating together, but instead were left feeling unwelcome and frustrated. It was especially disappointing because there appeared to be no effort made to find a solution or accommodate us in any way. A policy like this may work on paper, but it certainly does not create a positive customer experience. We left feeling that our family's business was neither valued nor wanted and chose to celebrate elsewhere. We will not dine here ever again.

My only complaint was the poutine had shredded cheese and not curds and the gravy was just a bit over salted but overall the food was great.

This place is amazing. It's been about 2 years since I've been as I enjoy new places but I wanted…read moreto show a friend who lives further away, about this great Italian spot. Jazz, our waitress has been here 5 years and is a real asset here. As are the helpers, greeters and bussers. Arrived with resos for a Sat at 6pm. Hadn't had pasta in weeks and I was going thru withdrawal. Haha! Every single thing on this menu speaks to me and after studying it for hours, still couldn't decide. The specials on the wall are worth a glance re options. Jazz helped me choose a dish I'd never had and not something I would order but it was rigatoni with shrimp, pesto basil, light rose sauce, sun-dried tomato and olive. Omg... I'm still craving it. It was amazing and had some to bring home.. PRO move.. although a small amount for $4, they make an in house Alfredo sauce that was worth it.. I brought that home and had it all the next day. The pasta is NOT overcooked here. Very important. Plus family owned. Love that. My friend was happy as I chose a CDN place and she is all about that right now. My friend got the Roberto pizza and was very pleased. Had leftovers and raved about the truffle sauce atop. Some notes,; Salt was not on the table. One has to ask for it. Water comes in a cool carafe but no ice, no lemons and I didn't want to keep asking for things.. salt, yes. Had to. Parm powered cheese and chili flakes optional. Only the flakes will stay on the table! Parm is given by the server and then gone. Seats, wooden chairs... Very hard and uncomfortable. Place gets VERY loud after 7pm and we were seated up top so, noise really travels. Almost too loud. Love the real napkins. (It's the little things.) I took note of the cool bar which had very comfy looking seats and had me thinking re my next visit! Jazz was very busy. We felt a little rushed throughout the meal. Cheque given way before wine was finished but could just be a vision of good service. The meal service was fast once we selected and food comes out quickly. My pasta could have used more sauce... Many other reviewers say the same, too dry, but I would def get the dish again. Sauce on side again. A great visit. Resos recommended.

I particularly liked the saucing on the fusilli genovese. The penne pasquale I wasn't sure what made it more special, but it did the job. The meatballs were fine, though maybe too pricey for just 3 meatballs. The calamari could have used some work; not crispy enough. The chicken limone was delicious, though again maybe a bit overpriced. The chicken parm was excellent, with a good fry on the chicken and nicely pounded meat. The veal pizzaiola was decent, though perhaps I wish I had eaten it on site. All in all an excellent meal!
