Cristo 10"

Such great pizza. I walked past this restaurant and just eyed the pizza. Was glad I got a chance to try it. The pizza was very crispy and delicious. I ordered the Cristo. The service however was subpar. The server was a lady who instantly judged us for ordering the same thing. She was annoyed when we asked her to double check with the cook about a soy allergy, which I'm so glad she did because there was in-fact soy in the pizza dough. She only visited our table when she wanted us to leave how ever there was only one other table there.

I had some hesitancy to try a pirate themed Italian restaurant in Puerto Rico, but honestly, the food is pretty tasty! I had the Hook Fettuccine and my partner had the plantain risotto (added skirt steak). The pasta and risotto were both flavorful and filling, although his skirt steak was fairly chewy. Service was really slow but they were also completely booked so it may have just been the time of day.

Overall the food was ok, not amazing but not bad either. Pizza crust was a bit floppy but taste was ok. Be aware though, they add 18% gratuity automatically to parties of 2 or more! Never heard that for parties less than 6 or 8. Service was good and probably would have tipped standard 20% anyways but it should still be the patrons discretion based on the actual service.

Beer on tap was exclusively Ocean Lab, which is a Puerto Rican brewery, no complaints here; just FYI. A moderate selection of other beer is available in bottle. The wife and I had the Goat Cheese Marinara and Bread. I have to say that it was absolutely fantastic! Service was kind of slow, even though the restaurant was almost empty. I'm all good with island time, but we may have stayed longer if the beer came quicker. I would definitely give these guys another shot though. If the pizza is as good as the appetizer, they've got a good thing going here!

Perfect Pizza and wine spot after a lot of walking around old San Juan. Unique and classic toppings. Regular and Gluten-free cauliflower crust (not easy to find here!). Fantastic prices and selection on bottles of wine. Friendly, fast service. Casual but comfortable and stylish atmosphere. You will be happy you stopped here

Yummy brick oven style pizza. They let you split the large so went with the fortazela and tituán! The cocktails were delicious too!

Fettuccine with chicken

This is a basic pizza and pasta place. Unfortunately they were out of their signature meatballs. I got the fettuccine with chicken but they were also out of the pink sauce so it came with a basic marinara. It's a nice place to get out of the heat and relax with a little AC. However the bathroom was out of soap and it is a one person stall so there is often a wait for the bathroom.

Margarita pizza with red green peppers and onions SO GOOD!!!

Loved the decor and pizza was great because the sauce is sweet and crust is bubbly and right amount of cheese per my 7 year old! San Jose pie was delicious. Great service, the treasure box for the bill is a cute touch. Nice and cool inside too if you're walking around Old San Juan and need a break for lunch or dinner.

This cute little place is very close to some high-quality gift shops and it has delicious brick oven crust pizzas, you can get drinks from the bar, it's well air-conditioned and the staff is super friendly.

Didn't like the extra hard crust or the sauce. I ordered the cheese and the margarita. Both wasn't edible.

AMBIANCE: Parking: Welcome to Old San Juan, it get get pretty busy - best to carpool or do public transportation. Seating: Indoor seating or private cabana set ups for groups. Room for a total of 100 people. Feels: Welcome to Old San Juan, a mix of touristy and culture. The spot itself is popular for locals and tourists. As for the space itself, what's unique about this spot is this place isn't just one bar. It's actually a series of connected rooms (about 6-7 different spaces), each with its own vibe - speak easy, dance, casual, house, live music and more! I'm surprised each room can contain it's sounds while maintaining its own energy. It feels like a speakeasy maze meets nightlife experience. Dim lighting, vintage touches, and just enough chaos in a good way. DRINKS/EXPERIENCE It was such a fun night, not sure what I ordered but there is an abundance of flavors as every room has different selections. But popular drinks if you're looking for guidance - lavendar mule, espresso martini, a classic mojito. They got the classic to your well-crafted cocktails. Some spots provide food while others is sip and chill or sip and dance. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fast-paced but solid. Staff keeps up with the crowd and still manages to be engaging. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars! Good choices, reasonable prices, and a vibe like no other. As a gemini that can be quite indecisive, I enjoyed this spot - especially with its multiple options. This is more than a bar - it's an experience. A spot where the night can go longer than expected. TIPS: * Walk through ALL the rooms--you'll miss half the experience if you don't

The…read moreatmosphere and warmth of our initial experience was so great that I made it a deliberate mission to find it again when visiting recently. We were thrilled when we finally walked through the door again after wracking our brains to remember our favorite spot in Old Town. Upon entering, we were greeted by a young woman who, mentioned it was her very first day as an assistant to the bartender. Despite being brand new, she was warm, engaged, and genuinely welcoming, excited for us that we had made it back after several years, and impressed with our efforts. Shortly thereafter the bartender on duty approached us mid-conversation, visibly irritated. When I mentioned that we hadn't yet decided on drinks but were being well taken care of in the meantime, she interrupted sharply to bark at us that she was the bartender and the ONLY one who could help us. The tone was unwelcoming enough that after a moment, my companion and I determined that we would prefer to move on and left without ordering. The atmosphere is truly special, and it deserves to be matched by the experience guests receive at the bar. Our experience was simply not the vibe that night, and I truly was disappointed FOR the new hire who was doing what she should in engaging us until we could be served. I sincerely hope to return on a future visit to San Juan and to rediscover the experience that first brought me back to La Grieta.

We decided to give it one more chance for our last dinner -- and I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing. We genuinely enjoyed every single plate we ordered. There was no wait for a table, but it took a good 10 minutes for the waiter to even come to our table. Drinks took about 5-7 min, which isn't bad. We ordered dinner and the wait began. 20 minutes after we ordered, my wife's dinner came out, but mine didn't. She finished her food in about 10 min, my dinner still hadn't arrived. We waited another 30 min (1 hour after ordering) and my meal still hadn't come out. Our waiter never checked on us, never offered us more drinks, never apologized for the wait. After the hour, I walked up to our waiter and told him we were leaving. They did remove the food that never arrived but they didn't seem the least bit apologetic. For a first impression of Puerto Rican service and quality, I would never recommend this place.
