In the Southport plaza lies this pizza joint that thankfully offers big slices of pizza unlike most other pizzeria establishments for some odd reason. The special for two large slices with a soda is only $9.00, but I only wanted one slice and no soda to avoid the added useless calories, which they obliged for $3.75. This will be the cheesy kicker before dinner in an hour. Loved the NYC skyline mural against the side wall behind the glass display of multiple slices of pizza ready for human consumption. Ordered a well done piping hot slice of cheese pizza with an amazing light charred crust. The sauce was sweet tasting with a light garlic aroma and added some red pepper flakes for additional flavoring. While enjoying my treat, a large pepperoni pizza was being sliced up and boxed for a pick up order and looked appetizing. The sole gender neutral bathroom was clean and basic, although the dark gray large tile flooring added some modernization.

Love the open kitchen...

The food was overpriced, the pizza was burnt to a crisp, and we requested extra cheese and there was no extra cheese.

Big shout to Meri S. for recommending the Las Olas Louie Bossi's location on Martini Mondays (50%…read moreoff martinis). A buddy and I arrived at around 5:30 and the bar was already standing room only (Happy Hour 4-7p at the bar). We managed to squeeze in and grab a couple martinis. Sam the bartender was a pro and she made some killer drinks and filled those martinis to the rim...we couldn't raise a toast without spilling our drinks! The crowd at the bar skewed a tad older, for those interested in an older crowd. The pizzas and drink deals were great so I will return again during the wk for a quick bite.

Good thing is my friends and I just go with the flow! We were seated in the Garden! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL decor!! The Garden is very impressive!! Our entrees (pazzeseco, strozzapretti, fettuccine) were good. We expected a much more in terms of flavor and the pasta in all of our entrees seemed undercooked/too firm. The Grande Dolci dessert assortment was DELICIOUS!! It was more than enough for 5 people! We LOVED it. This made up with our mild disappointment with our entrees. Our server, Alex (female), was great. Alex was attentive and nice.

Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza has surprisingly good pizzas. Thin crusts with various toppings freshly…read morecooked inside the oven. We ordered the half and half truffle pizza and contandino? With kid's portion penne Alfredo (I wanted to try their pasta), avocado salad, and calamari appetizer. Both pizzas were very good, I strongly recommend it to everyone. Their pasta is also good, even for the kid's menu the portion was generous and the price fair. The only thing I don't really recommend is the avocado salad. Yes we were a party of three so we finished most of the salad but the flavor just wasn't there and the texture was off for me too. The avocado is mushy and discolored, and I personally prefer the sliced or diced avocados for avocado salad. The parking is limited so get there early or on a slower day. I think I would recommend this place to others and be back again in the future.

Service! My husband called to ask if they had lunch specials…read moreand they said they did until 4pm. We walk over, sit down and ask what the lunch specials are and the waitress says they don't have any. When we told her we had called she said well the only special is the personal 8" pizza with up to 3 toppings. Then she says there is a lunch size house or cesar salad. There are no lunch prices listed anywhere. When we ask her for the prices, she has to look it up on her handheld ordering machine. She says the salads are $7.95 and the pizzas are $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. We each order a lunch salad and a personal pizza with up to 3 toppings. Salad was a good size. Pizza was OK. Very thin and very light on toppings. When we get the bill, it is higher than we thought. But my husband pays. I look at the itemized receipt and see that we were charged $1.50 per topping. I ask her about the bill and remind her she said the pizza was $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. She says, yes but the toppings are $1.50 each. I tell her she never said that and how am I supposed to know. And if I am paying for the toppings, why would you limit me to 3? It doesn't make sense. She said she was sorry but didn't offer anything to make it right. I shook my head, laughed and walked out. Total bait and switch. Never going there again.

Wow, wow, WOW! Authentic, quaint, affordable, and SO good!…read more This little spot was such a great find in Fort Lauderdale. The staff was incredibly friendly, and many of them speak Italian, which added to the authentic feel of the restaurant. My husband ordered the fettuccine bolognese, I had the tortellini Alfredo, and the kids went with pizza. Everything was delicious! The pasta had so much flavor but still tasted light and fresh. You leave satisfied without feeling overly full or tired afterward. I also loved that you can modify your pasta bowl and make it exactly how you want it. The restaurant itself is super cute and cozy, and one of the biggest surprises was the price. It's actually affordable, especially for Fort Lauderdale! They also bring out fresh bread, which was SO good. Great food, friendly service, authentic atmosphere, kid-friendly, and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You will not regret it!

Small pizzeria that has a good take out business. Not nearly enough parking but hey!…read moreNot sure if the a/c was broken or if we were getting the whole "we don't believe in a/c" experience either. However, the pizza was delicious and the pizza making class was fun and interactive. We each got to make our own pizza dough and then made a pizza with the ingredients we wanted (spicy salami is spicy and delicious). And when I went to get a Nutella pizza, the pizza chef, said he would make a special one: zepolle with sugar and Nutella with a side of fresh whipped cream and strawberries: soo good! Come for the class and enjoy the pizza!! Great thing to do as couples or date night.
