Oh Pizza Pie Cafe. You're nothing if not consistent. When you hit up pizza pie café, it's mostly for the kids. You know you're not getting great pizza but you are getting options. The pizza is entirely hit n miss--get a fresh one, it's pretty good! All the others have been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour and you could drive in nails with it. Salad was fresh. Drinks were cold and the experience was exactly as expected.

    Table

I don't know how you mess up a buffet this badly, but Pizza Pie Cafe managed it. The pasta was chewy and undercooked, like it was rushed out before it even met boiling water. The pizza wasn't much better -- several slices were burnt on the bottom, leaving that lovely bitter, charred taste that overpowers everything else. And the final straw: the forks. Ours clearly weren't properly washed. Seeing dried-on food still stuck to silverware is disgusting and completely unacceptable for a restaurant. Between the half-cooked pasta, burnt pizza, and dirty utensils, this place seriously needs to step up its food quality and cleanliness. Definitely won't be back.

Got there around 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and it was packed! Thankfully our friends got us on the waitlist for a table so we didn't have to wait in line to pay. However they told us to wait for them to seat us but another group after us just walked to a table that was open so once a booth opened up our two families went to go squish into there. Although it was very busy and you had to wait in line to get pizza, the staff was quick and friendly. They restocked fresh pizzas quickly cleaning up tables. Since there were only two restrooms there was a long line at one point over 10 minutes. Our friends ended up walking to Macey's grocery store to use the bathroom there. I love all the variety of pizza flavors, pasta noodles, and salad bar. Also their dessert pizzas and cinnamon sticks are my favorite!

Everything is average and to be expected from a buffet pizza place. My kids love the desert pizza and cinnamon drizzle stick things.

Can be super busy so go early or late to avoid all the kids. Food is usually good if fresh out of the oven.

Fast food "pizza". Not really a place to enjoy a quiet dinner. Why can't people get pizza done right around here?

First you should know what you are ordering, trying something different or new from a place that is trying to be cost effective yet tasty isn't place where you order the "chefs choice menu" So the let's talk pepperoni ... I can't think of another place at this price point that offers old world or aged pepperoni! And no extra charge! So if you love pepperoni like I do the then the magnifico is amaze balls for your mouth! And the price is spot on! On another note family and friends can vouch for salads and the meatball bake, which is a must have but not as cost effective but tasty! All and all I like this place and my only wish is that they would do a ready to take pizza option when you are in a rush especially on days like Friday and Saturday night! Though they apparently do a prep and buy by the slice pizza for the high school kids at lunch but I would never show my face there at that time due to embarrassing my children! Lol !

What a joke I will not be returning.

Not only did the restaurant get a makeover, but so did the menu. The food was okay! I would argue it's about the same quality as what the old kitchen was serving but the menu is completely different. My breakfast sandwich was comically large. The pancakes -- heavy emphasis on "cakes" -- were so sweet. The hollandaise on the Benedict and the potatoes were seasoned well. (They "ran out" of ketchup so that was a bummer.) Everything was good but not necessarily something to write home about. The environment is the star of the show! Well decorated, great seating, and beautiful views. I hadn't been to the Ridge Cafe since before Covid, so it was fun coming back to see and taste the changes of ROR. For the views alone, give Royal On Ridge a try.

We went here for a book club brunch and were well taken care of by our server. We had a reservation and they had our table all ready and seated us immediately. The food wasn't my favorite. Which is why the three stars. The mini donuts tasted mostly like grease -- between a table of we didn't even finish them. The breakfast croissant sandwich was huge, but the bacon wasn't at all cooked and all four of us that ordered it sent our bacon back to the kitchen to be cooked more. The potatoes looked amazing, but I didn't think they were that great. Everyone said their food was fine, but no raving reviews. The best thing ordered by our table was the Goat Cheese appetizer. This was yummy! Highly recommend. Overall, won't be making the drive for this place again.

Staff continued to work while we (party of 2) checked out the menu and immediately popped back over once we were ready without complaint. Order: Dozen cheese doodles with ranch - So good! Fluffy, garlicky and good amount of cheese. Definitely glad we got a dozen. Alfredo pizza - the crust was soft/not burnt, evenly spread toppings. There was a couple red onion slices that were a bit too big for me, but that's not something that would stop me from ordering this pizza again. I probably would have liked a little bit more crispy crust as well. All meat calzone - filled to the brim and served with ranch. So good! I hate when calzone are more dough then filling and this did not have that problem. Pretty clean dining area, small crumbs here and there. Our table didn't have a napkin holder so I took it from another table. It was pretty empty so we didn't take it from another patron's table. Refillable sodas - Coke products. They also have Farr ice cream here. To go boxes available on the side so you don't have to stop a staff member to ask for one. Definitely will be back!

The cashier recommended the chicken bacon ranch pizza so I added some balsamic to it. My husband got a crustless option, a protein bowl. The flavor of my pizza was yummy, but the best part was the crust was very soft and fluffy. I really like how they had a ton of options, like protein bowls and cauliflower crust. The breadsticks rolls were nothing special, description said it has cheese and garlic in it but I barely tasted it. they were yummy but bland. The restaurant is very clean and is very modern. I liked the color and style of it. The pizza came quick, no complaints about the service. Overall it didn't blow me out of the water but there was nothing wrong with my experience so I will give it a 4.
