Garlic Naan Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken)
    Celeste M.

Genuinely some fire butter chicken. I know this place was know for their Indian style pizza but I was really craving butter chicken. This was a great portion, and I actually got free rice somehow. I did order the garlic naan and it wasn't the best I've had but always good for dipping. Really quick service and friendly workers. It's a small shop bht there's still tables if you want to eat inside. Definitely to go heavy.

Love the freshly cooked food at Pizza N Curry. My group tried some vegetable Pakora and Samosa Chat appetizers. And for entree I tried Chicken Karahi with rice and garlic naan. I'll have to try the butter chicken next time as they were sold out that day. I got to sample taste the other entrees too and they all had different flavors and spices. You have to try the Garlic Naan, so fresh, soft, and garlic savory. Plan ahead when you dine in especially during peak dinner time, they cook their food fresh so there's some wait time.

I had been meaning to try Pizza N Curry out of curiosity if nothing else. Finally visited a few weeks ago and had the chicken kofta with naan. The kofta were fun to eat and the spicing and flavor were nice. This is Pakistani food which can be hard to come by. Prices were reasonable and I had enough leftover for a substantial midnight snack. Service is basic counter service but they'll bring your food to your table. I saw a steady takeout crowd coming and going. I want to try the pizza next. It seems to be popular.

We stopped by Pizza n Curry tonight and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. You wouldn't think that someone who can do Indian food really well would also do pizza well, but I was wrong! The restaurant doesn't give much in the way of aesthetic, but often the best ones don't. Our group ordered: Chicken Makhanl (butter chicken), Paneer Karahl, Peshawari Mutton Karahi, Chicken Tikka Pizza, two naans, and the masala fries. Everyone was very happy with their food. The overall favorite was the Chicken Makhanl, such a creamy great flavor and the chicken was very tender. The pizza was also very good, really crispy with great overall flavor. The food took a little longer than we expected since we were the only ones in the restaurant but nothing crazy, and they did have a few take out orders while we were there. I would maybe order for take out in the future. Our server was really nice and brought a few extra sauces and things for us to try. He was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the work he does which was really cool. We will definitely be back!

We ordered take out, so I can't comment on service inside. But I can comment on the food! We ordered lamb biryani and chicken tikka pizza. And both were delicious. The biryani is among the best I've had in town and tastes truly authentic. The pizza was tasty - and did it have paneer too? I've never had an Indian flavored style pizza and it exceeded my expectations. But I really loved the biryani. I'm looking forward to eating here again. This is a hidden gem.

Indian Tandoori Pizza Large - with paneer, onions, and jalapeños

One of my friends used to make a pizza with jarred Indian tikka masala sauce, cheese, and sautéed vegetables, but I thought she was the only one who had thought to put those things together, so imagine my surprise when I found out a restaurant makes something similar! This is an interesting place as they have the standard North Indian fare, but also fusion pizzas with tandoori sauce or chicken tikka. My husband and I were in the mood for a pizza night in so we got a takeout large tandoori cheese pizza with paneer, onions, and jalapeños. We ordered over the phone with no problems. When we got there, we only had to wait a couple minutes to get our pizza hot and fresh from the oven. The person staffing the desk was very helpful and kind. The pizza was super crispy and appropriately chewy. The toppings all went well together including the paneer, which I was a little worried about. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was that the tandoori sauce was a little smokier than I like. I also wish they had an option for a vegetarian tikka pizza as I think that would definitely be more my taste. I definitely want to come back and try the rest of the menu as it all looks so good!

I got the house special pizza. Indian Tandoori Pizza ...lots of spice and Middle East Flav!!. Very good! Watch out, the heat sneaks up on you! What a great twist! Definitely going back again for more.

We got the chicken tikka pizza with pineapple jalapeños and spinach. It was very flavourful. I also love the crust on the pizza!! This is a great place for that Indian American pizza fusion and for pizza in general! They also gave me a free mango lassi!

This was a sweet surprise. The pizza was very cheesy and greasy, just the way it's supposed to be eaten. The chicken jafrazel that I got was super good but wasn't spicy enough for me. They offered to take it back and made it more spicy, still wasn't spicy enough for me, but I didn't want to inconvenience them anymore. Regardless the food was delicious!!!

The name alone had me intrigued - why choose when you can have both? They had a lot of pizza options and they cautioned us from ordering the large for an individual unless we wanted to take it home (I can think of worse things). It was fun replacing garlic bread with naan too! We ordered to eat there and the food arrived before our drinks (even water) - it looked like they were short staffed, so we tried to be patient. They had a lot of people come and go with takeout. Perhaps that's the way to go for next time.

    Peshawari Chicken Karahi- pretty good

We've lived in Chicago before moving here and loved Chicago food, especially the Little India neighborhood there; that being said, this place is phenomenal and bar far the best Indian restaurant we've had in the greater Milwaukee area. Never have we had a bad meal. Have tried most things on the menu- while it seems more North Indian (less spice used than in South India), it makes up for it with the Nepal menu options. The fried chili momos and steamed chicken momos (Nepali flavor and sauce yum), and the Tandoori Chicken are always well-made and seasoned. The Chai is phenomenal. This location, compared to downtown, is less 'dress-upped', but in our experience, the less dressed-up an Asian restaurant is, the better the food is going to be. Cute decor includes elephants, flowers, and types of bamboo steamers and such, making it very cute and homey. The service is always great, both the Nepali gentleman and the other Indian gentlemen servers are friendly and helpful. The only few 'negatives' we have had- service can take a bit, but it's completely worth it for the quality that comes out of the kitchen. Some small things- like the tandoori chicken not having sliced ginger or the chai being a little on the tamer side of spice- are to be expected with inflation and whatnot for the food industry. In the end, food is amazing, service is top-notch, and what we feel is the best reason to go there is the sense of home and comfort we get from the food and staff. Worth the drive, worth the try. Thanks to the owners and everyone at The Spices for making an international couple feel at home!
