Don't stop, keep driving by. Came here based on a recommendation and ordered a plain pie, when trying pizza I base everything on plain pie as toppings can make almost anything taste good. The place's ambiance is like a road stand, take out only and no facilities whatsoever. I felt lucky that there was no line, thinking to myself that my order will be fast. The line at the window came and went a couple times as I sat at the sticky picnic tables waiting and my still my name isn't called. I mosey on up to the window, and a guy struggling with multitasking told me "sorry, I forgot, it's sitting right here" and hands me the box. Great. I open the box and my first impression is not good. The now luke warm pizza looked small, bigger than a bar pie but thick. Whoever sliced it made a few extra lines in the middle, I guess he thought this would make a great practice pie. Anyway, I'm hoping that looks can be deceiving and it will taste good. My hopes were soon dashed. The bottom was very doughy, thick and undercooked. The crust tasted like white bread, kinda of like the dough you would get at a supermarket. The sauce tasted like jarred sauce with extra oregano added. There was plenty of cheese, and honestly the cheese wasn't bad. All in all, it was a bad experience, maybe it was a bad day, or maybe the owner's passion is gone. I'll never know. read more

Standout pizza that Dave Portnoy would approve. Great undercarriage, little to no flop and the taste is something we would come to Vero Beach specifically for. I think this is a medium to high 8 score from Dave. Not bad for a sleepy beach town in Florida As with most things the more time passes the worse it gets but not this place. The more time passes the better it gets! We are big fans of the Mushroom Asiago and the Classic Cheese. read more

Pizza Mia is a fantastic option if you are craving pizza and you are in the Vero Beach, Florida area. The place has a pretty cool pizzeria type vibe going on. The staff here is friendly and professional and only added to my overall experience. Again, the pizza here is pretty fantastic and great pizza is sadly not the easiest to find in Florida. I grew up in New Jersey and growing up in the Garden State, I just took it for granted that we had great pizza on almost every corner and just kind of assumed that is how it was everywhere. When I moved to Florida back in 2001, I was shocked and more than a little dismayed to find that great pizza was not so readily available in the Sunshine State. In fact, great or even good pizza was pretty hard to find and when you find good pizza, it truly was a reason to celebrate and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of pizza in hand? I would definitely recommend Pizza Mia and overall, I give it five stars. read more

One of the only places in Vero you can get a slice (maybe the only). Good pizza. Not great when compared with LB spumoni gardens or New Park Pizza but good. I've been a few times and I will go back. I've never had anything there other than the plain slice.( pictures to come). read more

A great little place that does a really good slice for lunch at a very reasonable price. Walk-up window where you order and pay, and they deliver your pizza to your (outdoor) table. Colleagues and I had Meat Lovers, Steak with Peppers and Onions, and the pepperoni. Slices were large, hot and fresh, and delivered promptly. They have the regular menu items on a board at the window and do specialty pies daily as well. Absolutely delicious and will be back for lunch instead of fast food. read more

We ordered a 16" cheese pizza and gluten free pineapple & ham pizza. I personally loved the gluten free pizza. They didn't skimp on the toppings and the crust was so good. Cauliflower crust sometimes tastes TOO much like cauliflower but this one tasted so good, you couldn't even tell it was cauliflower crust. The woman working there last night was very informative and friendly. The location itself is cute. They have a cute little sitting area outside with picnic tables and umbrellas. Apparently the regular cheese pizza was good, but the crust was a little soggy on the bottom. Price-wise, it's a lot more affordable than other pizza places in the area. read more

Best pizza I've had in years and that includes NY! The sauce and meatballs were dang near perfect .the only drawback was it's takeout which kills the crispy crust so a great hack is to reheat it in a hot frying pan with a little olive oil to produce a nice crisp crust. It's a husband/wife dynamic duo, they and the entirety of their staff were extremely attentive, kind, and talked about their favorite items like we were family. Smaller inside but extremely cute - they're lights were CHEESE GRATERS, are yah kidding! We had a group of 12 and they were extremely accommodating given our size. We ordered four different pizzas, garlic knots (YOU MUST ORDER), and I personally got a Mia salad which was wonderful. The mia salad was a spring mix, walnuts, cranberries and goat cheese, I added on chicken cutlet which we perfectly cooked. For pizzas we ordered the meat lovers, a cheese, grandmas and a bbq chicken. The group expressed that BBQ chicken was amazing with perfect drizzles of bbq without, while grandma was a close runner up - the owner expressed there's hints of butter in grandmas which is MAJOR KEY and ricotta chez. Lastly I must just describe these angelic garlic knots which were legit MELT IN YO MOUTH, parm cheese perfectly melted on the freshly baked bread.
