I never go back to this pizza king or the one in Millsboro. The service is terrible. The wait staff at both locations are more interested in texting on their phones. Georgetown is small town and wasn't having much luck finding a decent breakfast (yes breakfast). This place has best breakfast anywhere nearby.... pancakes (chocolate chip especially) great. .... but the menu for lunch and dinner won't disappoint. have a bit of everything. today having fish and chips which are quite tasty! can't wait to try other items. in addition , the prices are very reasonable and more so than other places I've been to. .....eat-in! I visit many of the pizza king locations locally but i go to the Georgetown location the most b/c I live in that area. Every time I go there I am greeted with a smile! There service is always excellent and as busy as they are there is never a wait for my food whether I dine in or eat out. I would highly recommend going to Pizza King in Georgetown. We stopped in here for dinner on our way to OC. We shared a pizza and California chicken sandwich. Pizza came out in less then 10 mins everything was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Med pie 14 inch ,chicken sandwich w fries and 2 drinks $22 Definitely worth stopping ! read more

Then this last Sunday we ordered 80$ worth of carry out food for a football party at our home, and it made us terribly sick. For some silly reason, I decided to give them one more shot. Worst mistake ever! I dined alone. Took 7 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that i was there and then another 5 to get my drink. I ordered a quesadilla and chicken tenders, 30 minutes later my food arrived and the fries were cold. All the young kids behind the counter couldn't stop talking and messing around enough to get anything accomplished. I ended up having to go up to register to receive my check. We ordered a to go pizza and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they were very kind and efficient in taking my order. The pizza is crazy greasy and they're charging $.50 for a cup of tap water... While on our way to Ocean City we decided to stop for a quick lunch. Tried their pizza last night in spite of the less than favorable past reviews and was quite impressed. We ordered a small, thin crust veggie pizza with pepperoni add , take out. It was ready when promised and still plenty hot when we dug into it about 7 minutes later. The pizza was delicious! The vegetables were fresh and plentiful as was the pepperoni. The thin crust was near perfect. My wife was very pleased with the pizza as well. We both definitely recommend the pizza at Pizza King in Georgetown, DE. at this time. read more

In a town full of once great but now run down restaurants, the new Pizza King location is a refreshing change. My wife and I ordered salads while my son ordered a personal pizza. They didn't have all the toppings he wanted in stock, and I've heard this location has had some issues like this launching - but at least they weren't hoarding frozen ingredients like some other places. What they had was fresh and I'm fine with them running out if that's the case. The salads were large and filling with excellent ingredients. What makes it even better was the prices. Feeding a family of 3 for under $30 is rare these days. Some fast food places aren't even that affordable anymore. The service was great and the food came fast. We really hope they keep up the good work and we'll keep coming back. It's refreshing to have a local restaurant that's clean and has good food. read more

I would give zero stars but that's not an option. I called the restaurant to place my order. I was on hold for a few minutes and when someone picked up they asked me what I wanted and I proceeded to tell them my order. They said "15 minutes" i drive there and see a line, it's my turn to get my order picked up and the cashier goes and try's to take someone else order didn't even ask me if my order was placed I had to speak up and said I wasn't helped yet. Then she ask for my name and I tell she looks confused and says what did you order I tell her... then she says is it possible it's under a different name I say no... a few seconds later she says could it be under a last name so for the 3rd time she had me repeat my self and say no. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my order no apology for not having my first order and had to endure her snarky attitude when I asked was my food done. Food is good but the service sucks just have a bunch of kids working on there. read more

We ordered take out, got an everything pizza twist with no mushrooms. Got home and of course it had mushrooms. Called and they said they would give us a credit for a new one. The next day went and got the new one. The cashier clearly wrote in red NO MUSHROOMS got home again and of course it had mushrooms. Called talked to the manager told him we wanted our money back. He didnt really seem to care that the kids working at this location can not do anything right. I say he is to blame! Also the pizza is always burnt on the bottom.
