However, the constant need to wait upon things such as fish, fries, okra, oh wait! No okra here, but really, you have to constantly wait on these items to be refilled. Also I'm not a big fan of my tartar sauce, ketchup, hot sauce, potato salad all being pre- measured out into tiny plastic covered containers for me. I've paid over $22.00 for this buffet and now my potato salad is pre-measured?! Buyers beware here. And some may not be bothered by this. I'm sure there are reasons for it. However, I know it's not the norm.

I'll sit there for 25 minutes without anyone checking on me or asking if I need anything else. I'm a regular customer, and I shouldn't have to feel ignored after I've paid for my meal. At this point, I'm disappointed that repeated concerns about customer service haven't resulted in meaningful improvement.

The service was very friendly and prompt to help us out. We had the lunch buffet on a Saturday and it was all good looking food and a large assortment. Seriously, this place is worth a try and don't listen to the bad reviews!

Not necessarily off the beaten path, but certainly off our beaten path. Thanks for Yelp for giving…read moreus a heads up on this deservedly busy place on the north side of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Good, solid, southern buffet heavy on fried fish, shrimp, chicken, okra, hushpuppies etc. Seriously the best catfish we've had in years. Real cats (not swai), real flavor like we grew up with (but mud-free!), not the homogenized flavorless farm-raised stuff that comes out of a foodservice company. Served cut into steaks, regular fillets and Cajun-seasoned fillets. The greens and blackeye peas were also among the most perfect we've ever had. I'm sure everything else is great, but I'm not going to waste calories and stomach space on filler when the real deal is piled up in front of us.

They have a pretty wide selection from sushi to mini corn dogs. This is where I usually tell you what I ate.... I ate everything, okay? Don't judge me. CoVid has this place weird. So usually I would just walk through the buffet balancing as many plates as possible to get as much food as my 160 pound frame can handle. But now you have to let someone else spoon the food out for you while you wait. Ugh. Annoying. I mean, I get it. Everyone is terrified and whatever. But can we agree it's annoying? The food is almost always good here. I'm very partial to calamari and the egg rolls. I usually overdo it on these two things in particular. The calamari is so salty I have to take a drink after every bite. And that's why I love it. Hey look, if you like Asian buffet type food then you'll like it here. It's not gonna blow your socks off. But it's pretty good. And you can't beat the price. I definitely recommend it. I eat here about every two weeks. Definitely try the calamari!!
