Take this from a previous employee(just quit) that has worked at places like Newport Seafood Grill, Jakes Crawfish, Reef ghost kitchens where i ran 17 restaurants at once, Hot Lips Pizza... This place is absolutely disgusting and doesn't give a f*ck about the customer. They keep the dough on dishes with black mold on them, they never sweep or mop the floors, they hardly ever wipe down and sanitize the tables, no gloves and hardly ever wash there hands. They even joke about spitting in the food which joke or not goes wayyyy against what I'm okay with. The dishwasher is coated with grime from old food and mold. They refuse to clean it. They blame one guy for that and refuse to be better about it. I tried bringing my concerns to the higher up and was told im just bitching about shit that doesn't matter. I even tried getting a hold of HR. But obviously, they side with the folks that will make them money wether they are doing it in a sanitary manner or not. So check this out. My pregnant wife and I are sick as well as our 4 year old. The only one in the house that is not sick is our 9 year old. Because of this, we wanted something quick and would not require us to do much work so we ordered Pizza. The pizza came an hour and a 1/2 later, it was cold and disgusting. The chicken wings we ordered were mild bone in wings. What we got in return was breaded boneless wings with no sauce. I'm not sure how this could be even remotely possible nor how a franchise continues to bring in revenue with this type of service in a market that is saturated with other options. So instead of going to bed and getting a good nights rest before my military obligations, I am up writing a yelp review and my pregnant wife is out driving to the store to file a complaint and hopefully have some level of rectification to this experience (I would have done it but I was just going to make something at home but the wife really wanted to head down there). I wish I could give a zero. I had a LOT of bad experiences with messed orders and other issues. Tonight I finally decided it was the last. I ordered something, and they took over 1 hr to deliver (after their online sight said 30 minutes). I tried calling their location but they didn't answer for 20 minutes. finally their driver showed up, I refused to pay for it after 1+ hours. he tried to call the manager and she didn't respond either. After he left she finally answered my call but all she said was to refund the amount (which they already charged my card even though I didn't accept the food). Surprise, surprise...the H's are at it again. We obviously go to many of the same places and have many of the same opinions. Mmm cheese stuffed crust pizza. Oh how I love thee! I always get the good ol' pepperoni pizza with the stuffed crust whenever we get this. Which is on a very rare occasion that this happens. This location is very efficient. Can't complain about having our pizzas finished in 14 minutes...I'm not sure how they knew 14 minutes but that's okay. I need to update my review, after both someone from the franchise as well as the GM of this particular location reached out to me to try and make things right. I was not only given credit for the original amount I was planning to order, but moreover the GM sympathized with me and let me know she's been working to turn things around (in her defense, she's not been aware of these reviews over the past 2+ years on Yelp, and therefore unless contacted directly has not really had the opportunity to correct anything). I'm still only giving this 4 out of 5 starts due to my original experience, but had I not dealt with the prior, I would be tempted to give 5. She recommended a different crew that tends to work Fri-Sun for me to have a different experience (sorry for those folks that are looking to order Mon-Thurs in the meantime), and I wasn't disappointed. Not only was the phone promptly picked up (quickly put on hold, but picked up by another team-member not too long after), but the food was prepared as ordered, ready on-time, and the staff while I was there to pick-up was courteous & professional. I was actually surprised when I got home on how GOOD the pizza tasted! Of chain restaurants, I would put the taste experience at a SOLID 5* ... very surprised, as I had worked at Pizza Hut nearly 30 years ago, and hadn't really had it since. WOW! Both hand-tossed and original deep-dish pizza were impressive. My husband and I ordered two pizzas and some breadsticks from here yesterday. The food didn't taste too awful, although something seemed off about the cheese and I thought it was kind of gross. I attributed it to being pregnant. Well my husband and I both woke up about forty five minutes ago to have excruciating diarrhea and I puked a couple times. I have to say, I do love Pizza Hut and it sounded good but had never actually been here before. I have fought with them about not being able to deliver to my actual house and that was a nightmare but I figured, curbside pickup, sounds good. Until I got there. I text the number as it suggests and they say we'll be right there when it's done. It's past the time I was supposed to pick it up alread but okay. I wait and wait and finally see someone come out and deliver to a car next to me... not wearing a mask. Sigh. I wait and wait, now for about 20 minutes and still nothing while watching people go in and out, without masks. The only one that got one was the delivery driver. I finally text back and say, if it's not done can I just cancel it? and finally, someone else comes out the same back door, without a mask, to bring me my food. WTH? I live in a Neighborhood that has a dead end. A Lil 4 door red car blew past my house definitely going over the 25mph speed limit. Tried to stop the guy on the way back to tell him to slow down. Seems like the employees have no idea what's going on. Guy on register wearing sunglasses that are taped together and his fingernails were FILTHY. Their delivery vehicle- green Ford Explorer- looks like someone is living out of it. Disgusting. Other employees looked dirty and disheveled. Employee insisted that Pzone is not included in the 5 dollar special and charged us 6.00 each per Pzone for a total of four Pzones. See photo of their ad showing that Pzone is included in the 5 dollar special. Further this employee then tried to charge us almost twenty five dollars for a pizza which should have also been part of the 5 dollar special but he insisted because the Pzones weren't, we would have to them purchase two pizzas total in addition to our Pzones. We went out side and called Dominoes to order our pizza and while we were out there we snapped a shot of the 5 dollar special ad that showed Pzones are included. So we ended up spending about 24.00 for four PZones and another 14.00 for pizza we had to buy elsewhere when we should have been able to get the four Pzones and one pizza for about 25.00. We didn't bother complaining over four this but your employees need to be MORE knowledgeable. Tonight I tried Pizza Hut for the first time, it is clear that from now on out ill just order Dominos like usual. Customer Service: 3 words : NEED PROPER TRAINING. I ordered my meal offline, (no complaints there) and showed up about 20 minutes later to pick up my order. Upon entering the establishment I immediately noted the filthy floor, windows, and the door handle which was covered in a buttery grease. (for the love of all that is holy PLEASE clean the front of your store!) Right then and there i should've just walked out.... but my pizza cravings were strong. I waited patiently in line behind another lady who was placing her order, only to hear the counter attendant arguing with her saying that she needed to call in and place an order or order online and that she couldn't order from the counter?! (never heard of that rule, doubt it exists) After further arguing for about 5 minutes he proceeded to tell her " this could get me fired, but ill act like you called in and ill take your order, after all I'm here for the tips". EXTREMELY RUDE. While they were exchanging her order a secondary employee who was quite unclean looking proceeded to come up to the counter and complain to myself and the other patron about how she hates taking pone orders from "bratty kids"... and it's "so annoying".
