Speed of service is super slow. Server was very pleasant, just slow. Our water had a lemon in it,…read morethe lemon was moldy. We needed to ask for our order to go. The to go utensil pack is a knife and spoon only. We ordered salads and spaghetti and meatballs. I asked for Greek Dressing and received a white creamy dressing that was a cross between ranch and creamy Italian. I asked for chicken on my salad, there was one.

They had salad, soup, pizza, pizza rolls, garlic knots, and even nice glasses of wine available. The bufet is what my family ate. There were full menu options as well. The food was piping hot, and a vast variety of all kinds of pizza were available on the buffet. If there was not something you wanted, they would make it for you. The dessert on the buffet was cannoli. These tasy treats were great, slight gritty texture which I am not used to in this type of dessert. However, they were tasty and had a crispy shell! The ambiance of the place was a bit older. It was clean, though there were some stains because the place is not brand new. The wait staff and cook staff were absolutely amazing. Ashley was super nice! She offered to help us and kept our drinks filled. The bathrooms were clean, and when the TP was out in the men's room, my hubby notified them, and in seconds, there was restocking right away.

My wife and I were looking for a pizza spot to grab takeout during the kids' spring break and…read morewanted to try something different from our usual go-to, Papa John's. That's when we came across Cup N Char and noticed they offered Detroit-style pizza--something neither of us had tried before. We stopped by to order in person, and right away the staff made a great impression. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. There were also a few groups dining in, which gave the place a nice, welcoming vibe. Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

The servers were prepared and ready to serve, very attentive and so kind. The food came out in a timely manner and cups did not stay empty for long. They allowed us to decorate however we wanted and were willing to help in anyway with decorating. The ambiance was very cozy and inviting. We were allow to have a DJ. Such an amazing experience and the food was delicious. We had shrimp scampi, chicken Alfredo, shrimp and pizza. Everything was soooooo good. Please come eat here and have your event here!!!! I thought they were my favorite part of the meal. They were just dense enough to give off a pan pizza taste, and had enough butter, garlic powder and parmesan cheese on top to get Paula Deen's attention. The salad that came with it was decent. Good thick bleu cheese dressing. Could've used some croutons though. The entree itself was good. The chicken wasn't crazy crispy, but by the time you soak fried chicken in marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese and bake it, you will lose crispness by nature, and that's with any restaurant. The meat wasn't dry, I will say that. Pasta that came with it was good as well. Price seems a little high though, and is my main criticism of this restaurant. $4.25 for a glass of unsweetened tea, and $17.64 for chicken parmesan. I did get the dinner portion, so I can't fault them too highly on that. That being said, the portion size was generous, the staff were friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable. All in all, Joe's is pretty good, and I wouldn't mind coming again.

For our last day in Round Top, we stopped in at the Stone Cellar for a quick bite to eat. The venue…read moreis actually split into two places, the Stone Cellar and Jon Perez Lounge. The Stone Cellar is to the left and from there you can just order the food from the counter, whereas the lounge you will get table service. Given that this place also hosts live music, trying it out during the day when there wasn't a band (or crowds) made for an enjoyable lunch outing. I would say the menu has pub/bar fare and given that we were both craving pizza and a hamburger, we decided to order one of each to split. The staff also mentioned the Fried Gouda Bites are popular, so we opted for those as well. Let's start with the latter - the Fried Gouda bites were amazing, everything you could expect from freshly deep-fried cheese, decadent and tasty, these are a must order. For the burger, we ordered The Standard, and as the name suggests, their standard burger (I call these "diner-style") and my brother and I both agreed - this is damn near the perfect burger and the best one I've had in quite some time. It was just the perfect amalgamation meat, condiments, and sauce, with a delicious bun holding it all in together. Finally, the margarita pesto pizza was also great - crispy thin crust and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. So, don't overlook the Stone Cellar as a place to go see some live music, it has some amazingly delicious food as well. We will be back next year.

We also had the cowgirl junky thin pizza which hit the spot. Each of us got the lavender ranch water which was refreshing and flavorful. Can't wait to explore more and maybe hear some music this weekend.
