I didn't stay to eat, but the seating area looked like it would be a good spot to watch the game if more people were there. The man who handed me my food was very nice and made a joke about how quickly I got there. I got the wing combo with "nothing better" dry rub. The rub definitely lived up to its name! I gave the rating a 4 cause I didn't really care for the fries, but everything else was good!

My mom appreciated the plentiful amount of sausage in her thin crust pizza. It did look really good and thought about stealing a bite. My sister opted for the Italian Sandwich and Pappo's House Italian side salad. I got the Pappo's House Italian salad and selected Shrimp as my protein. I do gravitate to salads with artichoke hearts and red pepper. It was a great lunch. It turned out that the server (I'm sorry to say I've forgotten her name) remembered the three of us as she used to serve us at Houlihans on our a "Tipsy (wine) Tuesday" lunch outings. We were good and each had one glass of wine or prosecco. Service was great - food was tasty - and .... DON'T SKIP their awesome Brown Butter Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies! We went inside and it immediately opened up to a large bar which was nice because I could know exactly what they had available on tap. We chose for a table and saw some games like darts, karaoke, etc. We ordered some apps like the nachos and bacon wrapped jalapenos. They were large portions and definitely were flavor bombs. I also ordered wings with mojo sauce which I recommend. The sauce was like a sweet tangy taste with a little bit of heat. I also ordered a cold beer to wash it down. Overall it was a great experience and can't wait to spend more time here in the cooler weather

I mean soo good. I had a Mojito to drink and I wasn't a fan. It had some kind of coconut flavor in it and I don't like coconut. I've never had one that had coconut in it before. Hubs had some kind of punch and it was tasty. I ended up getting one of those too andnit was nice. For meals, we both got wings. Our waitstaff misheard me and gave me boneless wings I stead of traditional wings as I ordered. No biggie. I ate them but I'm here to tell you, I'm not a fan of boneless wings. It's hunks of meat in sauce. Hubs got traditional wings as he ordered and he liked them. Overall, decent place with decent food. It's close so we'll be back.

Gus's is just good fried chicken with simple tasty sides…read more I came in with my step dad and brother on a weekday night and parking was ample outside + we were seated immediately. It wasn't particularly packed and the lighting was fairly soft, which was nice. The waitress got our orders and drinks our fairly quickly and with a friendly demeanor. I opted for the white meat, so I had a couple of juicy chicken breasts with some Mac & cheese + mashed potatoes. Yeah, it was a bit carb heavy, but it all worked well together. While the breading definitely has some spice to it, it was fairly weak by my standards and wasn't an issue. Nor did it cause any issues later. My poor step dad got a concentrated seasoning bit and he was about beside himself, but even he recovered shortly thereafter. Overall it was a good meal at a good price with good service. It's hard to beat that combination. So if you like a little spice with your fried chicken, Gus's is a good option.

The menu has a few familiar faces - Eggs Benedicts, biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, chicken and waffles and more. I wish they offered an extra seasonal, but I understand a brewing schedule that features quick moving draughts. A small note - please watch your check. Some of the prices in the computer don't match with the menu. The staff - who were awesome - were also apologetic and moved to make corrections when notified.
