We read some reviews and said let's give it a shot. We wantyou.to know we are very happy we stopped. The food was excellent, the owner was funny to talk with, and the place was clean. It checked all our boxes. Jeff made us feel welcome right when we walked through the door with his jokes. My wife and I both ordered two different types of a smash burgers. I had the Mushroom Swiss which was perfectly cooked with fries and house made Bbq sauce. Yum! Super Juicy, not overly greasy! My wife did thier special burger. We wish we had tried some chili because the other 10 people who came in after us all had the homemade chili. He makes everything in house from scratch. We appreciate that 100% We definitely will be back to visit again and see what is on his always changing menu next time we pass through Janesville. Thanks for the sample of his BBQ Ribs and some really tasty mango habenero sauce they were making fresh. Until next time , keep up the great work and the corny jokes

I wish Culver's would get a better veggie burger than the old conglomerate of old vegetables mashed…read moretogether in some questionable mushy patty, but it's nice that they have that option. They have a pretty decent grilled cheese on the kids menu, which comes with fries and a 12 oz drink, or juice or milk, if you're a freak. Haha. If you use the app or website to preorder and pick up through the drive thru or even better their curbside (they call it curd side) pick up, which for some reason no one else does, so there's no wait, and they make it as soon as you pull up and bring it right out to you, it's like skipping the line of the drive thru? It feels like cheating but it's not. So if you use the site or app, and you opt for a meal but DONT want a drink, they have this thing where you can swap out a drink and pay an extra $1-something to upgrade it to a concrete (their frozen custard with toppings mixed in jazz). It's a really swell deal. That's for a small, it's a dollar or so more for each size up. It's a very good deal. Another amazing and odd thing about Culver's is how seemingly cheerful and kind the employees are?? Idk what they do to the employees, if they actually pay them decently, or give them healthcare, or drug them up before a shift, but they are SO NICE! It's very different. Especially for a fast food place. They should put up a tip jar. Although you are allowed, and I encourage you, to tip employees regardless of whether or not it is standardized, and set in protocol with an established jar, these people work hard, the food service industry is garbage, and these people do it for very little, and deserve a dollar or two that you can throw their way. Sometimes I don't have cash, so I don't always do it, but I try to.

The employees are helpful, which I appreciate, but OMG, the cleanliness of this place is absolutely horrible! I actually spoke to one of the workers (I really wish I had gotten her name!), and she told me they only clean in the mornings. I'm sorry, but WHAT?! This is a restaurant where people come to eat and kids come to play all day long. How is cleaning only in the morning acceptable? Especially with little kids touching everything! It's such a shame because this place has so much potential to be a great spot for families. Management seriously needs to do better. Cleanliness should be a priority throughout the entire day, not just in the morning! I really hope they take this review serious.
