This is a review regarding online ordering. I'm a big fan of calling ahead to Subway and picking my order up at the window. With 5 people ordering a total of 6-8 subs, it's more convenient for me and doesn't hold the line up in the store. Since I liked this so much I thought I'd try ordering online to pick up. I should have known after I selected my first of 6 sandwiches that this may not be a good idea, but I went on anyways. You begin by selecting your sandwich type & bread. Move on to the veggies and there are veggies preselected for you and can add any others that you want. The problem with that is that you cannot deselect them, it gives you drop down option of Regular, Less or More, but does not have a None option. So for every sandwich I selected "Less". At the end of the before you place the order, there is a section titled "Special Comments". In that section I stated "For everything that has the "Less" option selected means none, zero, zilch. I placed the order for a specific pick up time of 545pm. At 525pm I received an email that my order was ready to be picked up. I headed over. About a 4 minute drive. Got there, waited 5 minutes for somebody to come to the window to tell me they are only half done with the subs. I said no big deal. That's alright. I passed my time with a game of Tetris. Was about another 5 minutes or so. I was still happy because it's still better than having to go inside. I was happy until I got home and opened up the sandwiches to see that all the things that were selected as less (aka None, Zero, Zilch) were on every sandwich. Not happy. I called, manager was not in. Spoke with a very pleasant young lady you felt really bad. We figured out that the "Special Comments" section does not show up on their end of the order. I did not ask for my money back and had no intention of receiving free food. We picked off everything that we didn't want on there. I just wanted them to know that this happened and I'm probably not going to be the first one to bring it to their attention. I myself don't need spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and green peppers on my seafood sandwich. Subway please fix your online ordering system. Customers, I recommend you call after place your order if you run in to this. Don't assume they see your special comments or whatever. On a positive not, the bread was very fresh. read more
