We don't have Culver's in the state I'm from, but I was visiting a friend and gave it a try. Surprisingly good! Maybe the best fast food bacon I've ever had on a burger. The cheese curds were interesting, I'd never tried it before. Like little mozzarella sticks but with a different type of cheese. Overall I was impressed. Also the staff here was super friendly, Chick-fil-A level friendly read more

Food is always good. Tried different options since I have lived here and always seems fresh. Staff has always been courteous as well.

It's Culver's! Amped up! Had my usual single patty mushroom Swiss burger. Also had a coupon for a custard cone. It was Friday evening, after school and work rush hour. They had so many customers -- inside and out. ZERO problem! They had their triage person. She sent me to the blitz slots where a nice young man took my order and another came out with my order in no time. Others were directed to the actual takeout lanes. There seemed to be a third option. The inside of the restaurant was also visibly busy. Fast, fast, fast service -- reminded me of what they did during COVID. Food was as superb as it always is. No loss of quality. Burger was hot; custard was cold. (Can't beat Culver's food for taste or quality, reliably so.) They have a huge parking lot where they can set all these flexible service options up according to what they need at the time. They have certainly innovated and optimized. The two young men were clearly pretty new and a little insecure. Both did a great job and made zero mistakes. Love this. This is great! Go, Culver's! read more

Culver's on Milton in Janesville is the best in food quality. Their salads with chicken is so much better than their competitors. The chicken is freshly cooked like you would at home and tastes so much better than other fast foods in the area. They give a good amount of fresh lettuce. I like the fact that the chicken is far superior than other local places. Always at the top if their game. I had a grilled chicken sandwich recently and it didn't disappoint. So much better than any fried chicken patty. Good job Culver's. read more

The food is alright. But when you mention that you have a gluten allergy I've seen people at this location tear down the custard machine clean and make the custard fresh. And thought that was common practice. But i guess it depends on how the high school teenager is feeling at the given moment. Because I saw zero concern for cross contamination. When it came to custard distribution as well as the fries. Customer Service is somewhat lacking. read more

The food is pretty good. I hate it when they say they make it fresh when obviously the soup would have had to been made ahead. The burgers are hard to chew and you need to ask for extra mayo. Staff is the rudest in the fast food business in the Janesville area in my opinion. I get the impression they don't really like their employer despite the gushy TV advertising. One real problem I have is they won't cut the hedge down to so you can see pulling out onto the access road. Jpd does little traffic enforcement so speeding on the access roads is commonplace. More than once I've had to creep and jam on the brakes to avoid a collision pulling out of Culver's . Discuss this with a female manager at the Milton Avenue location and she said it's a common complaint. Guess they're more concerned with appearance than safety of the customer. If you go there I recommend a tall vehicle so you can see over the hedge pulling out onto the access road. Good luck read more

Love Culver's and how they treat customers! I call them the McDonald's of the now! I mean that with the utmost respect. McDonald's used to value the product and the customers like Culver's does now! It's refreshing to see the staff acting like the public matters. Haven't had 1 complaint about service or food. Great job! read more

Oh Culver's you did not disappoint. It's always a treat to come visit my grandma as she lives right down the road from this Culver's. We come at least once (usually more) while I'm in town. It's a tradition now. You absolutely cannot go wrong with a butter cheese burger, cheese curds or some creamy fresh custard! Or all of the above... The employees are usually high school aged kids but they're always polite. I've never had a bad experience here, and am going to keep coming back! Sorry no pics - I gobble up my meal too quick! read more

There was some event happening and tons of people were working...like 30 people, so it was pretty crazy...the food was great and they wait wasn't long. However I asked for a basket and received the cod sandwich instead. read more

I have always loved culvers but they recently changed their chicken and the quality is not the same. I cannot bring myself to eat it (I am super picky with meat) and I really wish they would change it back. It used to be my favorite! Still a good place to eat, just not the chicken anymore. read more

Erica is incorrect, ButterBurgers are NOT cooked in butter. The bun is lightly buttered, then toasted. The burgers are fresh, never frozen & seared on a grill with no added fat during cooking. Also, Turtle custard is VANILLA custard with pecans, caramel, & brittled chocolate mixed in. She is right about how great Culver's is though :o) read more

I love this place! Always so clean and the people are friendly. You order at the counter and they give your number and then they bring it to you. I wish we had them in California! Because DQ & Coldstone just don't do it for me! Yummy Custard! Not ice cream or soft serve its frozen custard - creamy, thick and so delish! I like the Turtle custard, it has chocolate custard with caramel and pecans! Then the Butter Burgers! Oh My! Burger's grilled on butter with butter on the buns makes it so incredibly bad for you but the best bad foods always taste awesome! I usually am not a burger gal - I tend to go for the chicken but here you gotta get a Butter Burger!!! And the Fries -Crinkled, Salty goodness! Dip them in the vanilla custard and SCORE!! Sometimes we plan visits to see family based on how much we crave Culver's! ha Only kidding....well, half kidding. read more

Wonderful example of top notch customer service. Our order was mixed up with someone else's and the team went out of their way to take care of fixing the mistake. Carrie, the manager, even came out personally to let us know that they were working to make it right. The food was great as always. Thanks for taking customer service seriously! read more

My family loves this Culver's! Quick service, great food, and friendly people: what more can you ask for? As we recently discovered (see my review of a St. Louis Culver's), not all Culver's are as good as this one. Most importantly, not all Culver's pack their Flavor of the Day selections with all sorts of goodies like this one does. We had no idea we were so fortunate, but now we know! I love their chicken tenders, and the Butterburger, Wisconsin Swiss Melt and grilled chicken sandwiches are favorites of the men in our household. I also like that this Culver's regularly has nights where a percentage of the take goes to local private and public schools; makes me feel less guilty about sneaking over for a hot fudge sundae! Do be careful driving in and out of this Culver's parking lot. Its location on a frontage road is a little awkward, and sometimes the drive-up line extends out onto the road (it's a popular place). read more

A cross between The Shake Shack/Burger Burger and Sonic at home for us. It's better than Sonic but not as great as The Shake Shack. They have a lot of choices for milkshakes and their burger has taste. The bun adds to the taste. Fries were crinkle fries and good. Definitely would stop at one again on our way out west! read more

We saw a billboard for a butter burger while driving through Wisconsin, and had to immediately look up what exactly this was and how we could make one our own. Well, it turns out Culver's lightly butters their buns before sandwiching them around fresh beef patties, Wisconsin cheese, veggies, mayo and if you want - bacon! We had to go. It's basically fast food or cafe style where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table, but they do have a drive through too, if you're so inclined. The burgers were....beautiful. A work of art. And the fried cheese curds were exactly what I wanted out of a lunch in Wisconsin. Yes yes and more yes. And at $15 for two double burgers, a large cheese curds and a large soda, the price was right! read more

I think Culver's has the best hamburgers. Sometimes the thick fries are undercooked and limp, but I love the hamburgers. This location is a little off the beaten path, a few blocks from State Road 26 E on Creasy Lane, but it's not hard to find. The dining area is kept clean and the service staff are friendly. read more

great customer service and a different experience In Wisconsin

I have always liked Culver's food, but after asking me three times if I want as a basket (with fries) and saying no three times it gets frustrating. read more

My boyfriend and I, saw the signs for this place on our way to Madison! As out of towners with a time deadline, we were looking for a fast place to eat that was Wisconsin traditional (non-Floridian). The service was fast, the food was fresh, tasty, and the place looked fresh and crisp. It reminded me of Wendy's burgers, but with much better quality. After eating our meals, we decided to order a Reese's Cups Concrete Mixer to try their Wisconsin Dairy ice cream. We had waited a bit to receive, so when I went up to someone in the staff to ask about it. They told me they would figure out what happened. Granted, I complain when needed, but this time I didn't say anything! We were just in a bit of a hurry. Next thing you know, I over heard a girl say she accidentally gave ours to another customer. They said they would make another one, and I said there was no problem. And then a minute later the girl I heard brings our Concrete mixer and a refund for our purchase! My boyfriend and I were shocked! We insisted there was no need, but she insisted she wouldn't take the money back because we had waited too long. Talk about fast food holding accountability.... Excellent customer service! I totally recommend it to any traveller looking for a quick bite. They sure showed us a bit of Wisconsin hospitality. Totally recommend it! read more

Culver's - Having a great time! Food a la American :) - Burgers Near Me - Janesville, Wisconsin

I am from New Orleans so I can be a little picky about food but this was horrible. The burger looked like it was made from the trash dug out from the grease trap and the bun was as sweet as a donut but judging from the size of the people in this town I can only assume that sugar is the preferred local spice. read more

Normally I would have given Culvers a full 5 stars but, they quit serving the chicken dinners. They were my favorite and we would go there just for that. What happened Culvers? I am seriously disappointed. I am not a fan of burgers of any type but I sure did love your chicken. read more

Culvers is my guilty pleasure. Their food is excellent and tasty! I'm always in the mood for a butter burger! Their various desserts are delicious also. Recommend for sure! read more

I was shocked and delighted by how good the butterburger is. My new favorite hamburger!

We love Culver's; can honestly say I've never had a bad meal at one. This location is a bit hared to get in and out or; the drive thru line sometimes gets in the way of those wanting to park and go in. The Christmas promotion going on this month is awesome; buy a GC and get a free basket. The ice cream is great, too..especially the chocolate shakes :) read more

Fast friendly service, very clean, and the food is soooooooooo good. The butter burgers are so bad for you but they are so good! The frozen custard is creamier and just better than regular iced cream in general. I would recommend it to anyone who loves burgers and creamy cold treats! read more

The food was good, easy location right off the highway, but paid for bacon on both burgers and neither of them had it. Not a huge deal but it is rather annoying paying for something and not receiving it. read more

Culvers has the best ice cream. I love there flavor of the day. Burgers and Chicken are great. They have a very busy fish fry, but I've never tried it. I've heard its good though. The turtle sundae is the best around. read more

this review is not just based on this location; Culver's are pretty much the same wherever you go, so the review is for all of them. before moving to Janesville most of our dining options were fast food. as it was, we chose Culvers quite often. I feel the service used to be significantly better; more friendly, more accurate with the orders. now, it's the same as any fast food place, usually adequate, occasional mistakes with your order. they do have a good selection of choices and the frozen custard is very good, but overall, the food is not that great. if you compare it to McDonalds, sure, it's ok. but, it's also more expensive. expect to pay around $8 for a burger, fries and drink. the burgers are tiny, incredibly thin patties grilled to a nice crunchy char. the fries are thick crinkle cut barely fried and usually quite mushy. honestly I'd rather save a few bucks and eat at McDonalds, or spend a couple more dollars and eat at Red Robin, or almost anyplace else. I mean, come on, you can go to any good bar and grill and spend similar money but get far superior food. read more

good chow. crisp chix is awesome. beats mc Donalds 10 fold .....fries are always crispy super place to go. price is good too
