Was here around lunch on a Friday in August. This is one of those magical McDs where everyone working here seems to be a grandparent. I go to this McDonald's a lot because it is close to my work. Last Monday I ordered a small hot chocolate because it was so cold outside and the drink was over an inch down in the cup. I thought that's not good but since I went through the drive through I didn't see it until I was back at work. Then on Friday I ordered a medium hot chocolate and that drink was over 2 inches down. Over $3 for about half a cup. I asked today if this is normal or what was going on. The manager said the drink foams when it comes out of the machine. When the foam goes down they can put more in. She never offered to give me a discount or another cup free of charge. She told me when there staff gives me a half empty cup I need to take off the lid (of the HOT liquid) show the employee and ask them to fill it up. Good luck read more

The manager is a pompous little angry man who believes hands should only be washed when you go to the bathroom. Or not at all... His backline crew actively operates with 1 pair of gloves on the whole shift, I'm left to imagine, as I witnessed several of their sandwich makers doing various other tasks in between making the public their food all without changing their gloves and washing their hands.. Actively spreading germs and disease from cooler doors, shelving units, boxes and bags to bun... I wouldn't be surprised if they sweep the floors with the same gloves they use to make our food. Which is sad, bc I ended up waiting 15 minutes to receive an old Crispy Chicken Sandwich I paid almost $10 for. And was treated rudely when I observed someones grandma far from home open the walk in cooler, grab several items and walk back, just to start touching food we eat. Totally disgusting and I would love to say this will be my last time, but I know one managers mess up does not make the whole company suck. But these McDonald's aren't run by the run of the mill people anymore so... I guess their slogan should be SUCKS TO SUCK. Waited in drive thru for 9 minutes without moving. Called store and they said they were short staffed, gave an attitude when I asked why no one is moving. Not the first time I've had a long wait at this location. Went inside to use the kiosk, had to ask for my cup as it was not given to me, and then the sweet tea was expired. First off, if you like tomatoes on your burger, DO NOT COME HERE. Go to the other Janesville location. The tomatoes here are sad, they taste like water and have a horrible texture. The only reason I put 3 stars was because the ice cream machine isn't always broken. Whenever you buy fries, it'a a gamble whether or not they're going to be soggy or tasty. If you're going to get McD's in Janesville, PLEASE STOP AT THIS LOCATION. Friendly staff, management knows how to treat their employees. I lived on the other side of town and would rather drive 10 minutes over to this location to get hot and fresh food every time than to get gross overcooked meat and cold fries from the Milton Ave or Court. They have pulled me ahead to wait for my food a few times, but hey, if I want my food fresh, they do it for me. They've only messed up my order once or twice and they are always good about fixing their mistakes right away and not making a fuss about it. Definitely my go to McD's location. :) read more

One of the better McDonald's that I have been to. Employees are friendly and always get my orders quickly with no mistakes.

I go almost daily to get my iced coffee!!!! I also get the Carmel cappuccino!!!!! And frappe's.......9/10 the drinks/Coffee is spot on!!!!!!

Super fast and friendly even though it was busy. I was very impressed with their operation. Sidel waited on us and was great.

Honestly this is a solid McDonald's for Janesville.. although they are almost ALWAYS busy I don't think they have ever messed up my order. The staff isn't the friendliest there.. but I saw a post for 15$/managers so I'm sure that has something to do with it. read more

I am at this McDonald's quite a bit because I work in Whitewater. I work with college students and so out of necessity I visit this place quite a bit. However, my frequent visits do not mean that this is a good McDonalds and I would recommend it to anyone. The inside is nice, very modern and updated. There is a play place for kids so that could be a plus or minus depending on who you go with. The Cons of this place are that most of the time my food is luke warm. They do not have the soda fountain machine calibrated right as the Dr. Pepper usually tastes off (and as a Dr. Pepper fanatic, I can tell). Another con is that I do not see any staff out washing the tables when I am there. Usually I have to grab some napkins and attempt to clean a table myself. The Pro of this place really is the drive thru. They are speedy and I have never had my order wrong. Overall, there are better options in Whitewater, however not many other options. I will let you make your own decision on whether or not to go there, but unless you absolutely have to have McDonald's you may want to look elsewhere. read more

This place was very clean and nice. I would have given it 4 stars, but they had Fox news on throughout the restaurant. When I am getting a Happy meal for my son, the last thing I want to hear is the news and people giving their opinions on what they hear.
