Was here around lunch on a Friday in August. This is one of those magical McDs where everyone working here seems to be a grandparent. It's clean, efficient, quiet (important as a parent of a kid who gets overwhelmed in loud places). Not all McDonalds are the same. This is one of the good ones! Kudos. read more

This is my normal to go to McDonalds but after what happened the other night depending on what the time is I will NOT be going back to the N Pontiac one! The lady was RUDE as ever! I ordered an iced coffee and when she gave it to me I said I'm going to try it AND she went off on me!!! Saying well don't think Im going to make you a new one or that your gonna get a free one! I'm like huh? What? I said I never said about making a new one or getting a free one! I said where is that coming from? So I asked for a manager, spoke to him and he was super nice and said he would take care of it (whole time we are talking the female employee was in the background talking crap about me to another employee) so I go to leave and drive around and here this same female worker is waving at me and smirking at me! So I stopped to take a picture and she new what I was about to do and then she stopped and acted like she was cleaning the table so this made me more upset so I went back to the drive thru and asked for the manager again and told him what just took place and he was nice about it and said he would have a talk with her! Ok. Fine, so as I'm leaving this same female worker comes running out the door at me and is yelling I got your license plate # and I'm calling the cops! Then she ran back inside and locked the door. So next day I did a review on the McDonalds website and also called the restaurant and told them to check out their cameras and explained as to what had happened, management thanked me for calling and I told her I would like to know the results and gave my # but haven't heard anything back yet .... Oh and I went home that night and cops never came! I have never had a problem with this McDonalds before BUT this lady was RUDE as could be! 3rd shift to be exact. read more

I go to this McDonald's a lot because it is close to my work. Last Monday I ordered a small hot chocolate because it was so cold outside and the drink was over an inch down in the cup. I thought that's not good but since I went through the drive through I didn't see it until I was back at work. Then on Friday I ordered a medium hot chocolate and that drink was over 2 inches down. Over $3 for about half a cup. I asked today if this is normal or what was going on. The manager said the drink foams when it comes out of the machine. When the foam goes down they can put more in. She never offered to give me a discount or another cup free of charge. She told me when there staff gives me a half empty cup I need to take off the lid (of the HOT liquid) show the employee and ask them to fill it up. Good luck read more

McDonald's - Half empty cup of hot chocolate - Fast Food Near Me - Janesville, Wisconsin

See all

I ordered a big breakfast 6-29 no pancakes but I got syrup and 3 butters BUT NO HASHBROWNS , already gone and on my way home. SUCKS

Ok terrible they literally tried to tell us that we had no mobile order (which we did) and then we did get our receipt but it showed 3 mcchickens 2 large cokes and a medium fry even though we didn't order these NEVER going here again read more

The manager is a pompous little angry man who believes hands should only be washed when you go to the bathroom. Or not at all... His backline crew actively operates with 1 pair of gloves on the whole shift, I'm left to imagine, as I witnessed several of their sandwich makers doing various other tasks in between making the public their food all without changing their gloves and washing their hands.. Actively spreading germs and disease from cooler doors, shelving units, boxes and bags to bun... I wouldn't be surprised if they sweep the floors with the same gloves they use to make our food. Which is sad, bc I ended up waiting 15 minutes to receive an old Crispy Chicken Sandwich I paid almost $10 for. And was treated rudely when I observed someones grandma far from home open the walk in cooler, grab several items and walk back, just to start touching food we eat. Totally disgusting and I would love to say this will be my last time, but I know one managers mess up does not make the whole company suck. But these McDonald's aren't run by the run of the mill people anymore so... I guess their slogan should be SUCKS TO SUCK. Pompous little angry guy with the glasses and the pep in his step better be more aware of the food safety rules. Bc I bet many people have gotten sick under his "watchful eye" read more

Slow service... forget lots of things... straws, utensils, sauces, FRIES. Overall not great and dining room was closed early. Dissatisfied

Lady just yelled out table number instead of bringing it to the table, when I asked why, she pointed at their order screen and implied they were just too busy to walk it over. read more

Waited in drive thru for 9 minutes without moving. Called store and they said they were short staffed, gave an attitude when I asked why no one is moving. Not the first time I've had a long wait at this location. Went inside to use the kiosk, had to ask for my cup as it was not given to me, and then the sweet tea was expired. I was told to "pick something else" read more

A million thanks to the gentleman working who allowed us to not only put our tray up front while I took my child to the restroom, but he also covered our food and stood by it until we returned. I would call that above and beyond customer service. read more

They messed up my order and when we brought it back they tried to take it back and resell it #health hazard

This mcdonald specifically had to be the longest waiting mcdonalds of my life. me and my mother are on the road trying to get in and out quick. this place 30 min and you couldnt even get to talk to a manager to get refund. ridiculous. read more

Waited over 30 minutes for food in the lobby, while dozens of cars who ordered after we did got their food in the drive-thru lane.

Not only is the drive-through line 6 miles long, These idiots have decided to close the lobby. They claim staff shortages. Give. Give me a break. There's at least 15 people working inside. read more

First off, if you like tomatoes on your burger, DO NOT COME HERE. Go to the other Janesville location. The tomatoes here are sad, they taste like water and have a horrible texture. The only reason I put 3 stars was because the ice cream machine isn't always broken. Whenever you buy fries, it'a a gamble whether or not they're going to be soggy or tasty. Overall, not very good. read more

If you're going to get McD's in Janesville, PLEASE STOP AT THIS LOCATION. Friendly staff, management knows how to treat their employees. I lived on the other side of town and would rather drive 10 minutes over to this location to get hot and fresh food every time than to get gross overcooked meat and cold fries from the Milton Ave or Court. They have pulled me ahead to wait for my food a few times, but hey, if I want my food fresh, they do it for me. They've only messed up my order once or twice and they are always good about fixing their mistakes right away and not making a fuss about it. Definitely my go to McD's location. :) read more

One of the better McDonald's that I have been to. Employees are friendly and always get my orders quickly with no mistakes.

Super fast and friendly even though it was busy. I was very impressed with their operation. Sidel waited on us and was great.

I go almost daily to get my iced coffee!!!! I also get the Carmel cappuccino!!!!! And frappe's.......9/10 the drinks/Coffee is spot on!!!!!!

This location has the brand new, modern look and I love it. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. My husband ordered a egg mcmuffin and he said that it was pretty good, my burrito wasn't fresh though. read more

Probably the slowest service in the entire fast food world. Don't come here if you want to eat quick.

Honestly this is a solid McDonald's for Janesville.. although they are almost ALWAYS busy I don't think they have ever messed up my order. The staff isn't the friendliest there.. but I saw a post for 15$/managers so I'm sure that has something to do with it. read more

I am at this McDonald's quite a bit because I work in Whitewater. I work with college students and so out of necessity I visit this place quite a bit. However, my frequent visits do not mean that this is a good McDonalds and I would recommend it to anyone. The inside is nice, very modern and updated. There is a play place for kids so that could be a plus or minus depending on who you go with. The Cons of this place are that most of the time my food is luke warm. They do not have the soda fountain machine calibrated right as the Dr. Pepper usually tastes off (and as a Dr. Pepper fanatic, I can tell). Another con is that I do not see any staff out washing the tables when I am there. Usually I have to grab some napkins and attempt to clean a table myself. The Pro of this place really is the drive thru. They are speedy and I have never had my order wrong. Overall, there are better options in Whitewater, however not many other options. I will let you make your own decision on whether or not to go there, but unless you absolutely have to have McDonald's you may want to look elsewhere. read more

Yesterday I was having a bad day. Went through the drive thru here and it was kind of busy as this McDonald's usually is. But placed my order for my daughter and I. Got up to the window and the card reader wasn't working. Kyle was Bert professional and did great customer service to take care of me while we waited. I'll be back here because of him. Great job Kyle. Keep it up read more

Literally waited 9 minutes in drive thru for 2 large cokes. Happens every time we come here..

This place was very clean and nice. I would have given it 4 stars, but they had Fox news on throughout the restaurant. When I am getting a Happy meal for my son, the last thing I want to hear is the news and people giving their opinions on what they hear. Otherwise, the service was fast, the bathroom was semi-clean and there were many places to sit. read more

In the 12 years I have lived in Janesville, I have never had an order right. Every few years I try this place. Last time, I said hello, went home, and found I was charged for a Yello-Mello which I guess is a soft drink. read more

One of the cleanest McDonald's I have been to! Always seems to be fresh and fast. Thanks

Always forgetting items ordered but still charges for them. I drive out of my way to another McDonalds to ensure the order is correct.

Excellent quick service! Nothings is worse than fast food that's not that fast, but I've never had that experience here! Kali has always been so great &&& so helpful! She always works so hard! I would really like to see this girl move up to upper management soon b/c this girl is such a kind person and she really cares and that shows in her service! But again, this is probably the only Mcdonalds where I get consistent && good service! read more
