One, the lady taking my order was extremely nice and polite, as well as the ladies that took my payment and gave me my food. They all had great attitudes/smiles, and that honestly made my morning a lot better. Two, obviously quick service comes with the term "fast food", but I have never had the whole process take less than a minute AND not lose one bit of product quality. The food was hot, fresh, tasted great and wasn't greasy at all. I'll definitely be stopping here next time I drive through town. I believe people that are great at their jobs deserve to be recognized and this crew deserves it. Thank y'all

Meal was tasty southern cooking but the pies are the real showstopper. We had coconut, chocolate, and peach. The peach has nutmeg in it so beware if you dislike nutmeg, like me. The meringue on the coconut and chocolate was a work of art and at least 6" tall. Absolutely worth the stop!

Shoot, once again I forgot to take a picture! There were three "blue plate specials" available,…read morefried chicken, turkey and dressing and ham with two sides, carrots&peas, and squash. We got the turkey. For the price(15.99), the serving of turkey wasn't very generous, maybe a scant half-cup of turkey. One the plus side, they did have dark meat, and it has some cranberry dressing. The corn meal dressing was very generous, and moist. It had a generous serving of carrots&peas, not so generous with the squash. We did get a slice of Bumbleberry pie, and peach pie. I was really looking forward to the Bumbleberry pie, as it was supposed to have raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. I hope that's correct. I was picturing a slice of thick pie just brimming over with fat, juicy berries. Instead I got a thin, flat piece of pie with the bottom 3/4 of the pie filled with a pinkish-red opaque jelly of sorts, and a sparse, then layer of mashed berries on top, just plunder the crust. The body of the pie was just under an inch thick, maybe 3/4" thick. It was an EXTREME disappointment, considering how the town is supposed to be the ""Pie Capital of Louisiana". If I were you, don't bother getting the Bumbleberry pie, but do get the peach; it was outstanding! I wish I had the recipe! The flavor of the peaches came through, it was sweet and delicious, without being heavily sweetened with spices, overwhelming the peaches. Yummy! I'm only rating it a "three", as the service was lacking.

One customer at a table but several workers arrived after me. I ordered several tacos on corn tortillas(beef, pork pastor, pork carnitas and a chorizo sausage) & rice and beans. No fountain drinks so grabbed a bottled water. They also have sodas in glass bottles, coconut water, guava juice. They brought me a plate of chips with queso and 2 bowls of salsa. One green and one red both were salty. The green had a kick. The red was just ok. They were making flautas and offered everyone. They were my second favorite thing. Next came my plate of beans and rice. Then my tacos. All looks like the food is from scratch. I liked the beef tacos the best. Everything else needed less salt and more seasonings.
