What a cool place I stumbled on tonight. While looking for a place to eat, my app recommended a…read morerestaurant called Swensons Drive In. It was located nearby to my location and it reminded me of an ice cream parlor I used to frequent years ago. What I found was not the ice cream parlor that I once knew, but apparently a regional drive-in with the same name (spelled differently) Swensens (not the one I visited tonight) which is spelled Swensons. Today was a debut day for a new sandwich, which was a quarter pounder, pepperoni, mozzarella cheeseburger, complete with marinara sauce. I added a side of the mozzarella triangles (another debit today) with marinara sauce, and the Ohio, which is a specialized Gingerale soda flavored with cherry syrup. The service was outstanding, which included carhops who were running from vehicle to vehicle to ensure fast and prompt service (safely). There is no inside seating and customers can choose to eat in the vehicle complete with a tray provided or simply take the food home as a takeout option. Several desserts featuring ice cream and flavored sodas are available in addition to a strawberry shortcake and a fried cheesecake. The restaurant was well lit, with period decor for a drive-in and boosted service for over 80 years featuring their famous version of a burger. The food was served, hot and fresh with my flavored soda and I really enjoyed the experience. I may well be back soon!

I recently visited Honeygrow restaurant in mid-January 2026. I also visited over a year and a half…read moreago in October 2024. Honeygrow is a nice fast casual restaurant choice for healthy food. You can customize your order and pick out the carb and protein options such as noodles, a salad, chicken, shrimp, etc. FOOD -- During my January 2026 visit, I ordered the Garlic Butter Shrimp noodles bowl which came with sugar snap peas. This was filled with a buttery flavour and delicious. I would definitely order this again. In my previous visit, I ordered the Seasonal Sriracha Tahini bowl ($11.72 was the price back then) -- it consisted of egg white noodles with roasted chicken and vegetables. This was a protein filled dish that tasted good but the flavour wasn't as strong as the garlic butter shrimp noodles dish. The chicken wasn't seasoned well at all but the sauce (I forgot the type) helped to make the bowl taste good. I wouldn't mind ordering this again but I probably would choose something else just so that I can try something else on the menu. The restaurant has lots of seating available for dining-in. Both times I've been, I placed to-go orders to eat at home. During my January 2026 visit, I had just come from a hair appointment so I was super hungry and I ended up eating the garlic butter shrimp bowl in my car. That's how delicious it tasted. FYI -- The price of the takeout bowls is slightly high compared to the size of the bowl itself. Honeygrow isn't close to where I live but if I'm in the area again, I will probably return back. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 54/250 total reviews in 2026 - 895 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 April 2026

I commented (calmly), and she asked if the nuts could just be added. I objected, and before I could say, "Just scrape them off", she copped an attitude, capped, and took it to the back. Upon returning, she snatched a cup out of the dispenser to make another (with one or more cups falling to the floor). The attitude continued to the ice cream dispenser, at which point I told her not to worry about it and walked out. I don't get it. I was the only customer at that moment. The attitude was really unnecessary. Especially from such a family-oriented, pleasure to patronize kind of place.
