I went to Pizza Hut after work today and Sam was the person I interacted with. She and another associate were talking about the ride lady that called and complained that she only received part of her order. They got another complaint while I was there because a customer had waited over 2 hours for her order. The gentleman who brought out our pizza couldn't put our pizzas down on the table because his cell phone was attached to his ear and he was holding the phone with his shoulder. I felt as if I was interrupting his conversation. What happened to customer service? Someone forgot to train them to use an inside voice if they were going to gossip about every customer. Where do I start. First I think they are understaffed and undertrained. Teenage help argues with older staff openly where all can hear. Then the pizza was way overcooked and when I complained the kid said I shouldn't have ordered thin crust as they almost always burn it. I guess I should have appalagized for being so stupid. I ordered on line the Big Box Dinner for $24.99. a supreme pizza and a meat lover - which turned out to be the same pizzas since they had no mushrooms or green peppers. they failed to tell us about that. I asked for extra sauce on the pizzas. they failed to do that too. When we pulled up to the drive up window we could hear someone counting change - but no one was at the window. we waited a few minutes. no one came. we honked the horn. no response - although the drive thru window was wide open and flies buzzing in and out. we finally honked again and a man's voice yell, "Go around to the other side!". we drove around , came into the restaurant and they tossed up our box - albeit $10 more than the original price of $24.99. What's wrong with me??? I know it's gonna be bad. It was bad last time. And I can't remember when it was ever good. I'm a glutton for punishment and I can't get enough. A true masochist and my sadistic partner, Pizza Hut, never lets me forget it. Every time I have a free lunch and I drive by "the Hut" I say the same thing, "maybe this time the Hut will show me love." And as always, I come out miserable, disappointed, and overall ashamed. I don't know why I can't say no to the Hut. Maybe I see my abusive culinary partner through rosy colored memories made during my childhood when going to the Hut was a once in a blue moon treat. But I don't want to be unfair to this restaurant alone. No matter where I go the Hut treats me bad. Also, my waitress was amazing and she made sure that I had refills and that my pizza was hot. First they gave our pizza to another table then realized their mistake went to get the pizzas well they started eating our pizza the waitress pulled one of our pizzas off the table and wanted to give it to us then, again they remade the pizzas and they were made wrong again. This place is a joke. I'm in town for work and staying at a local hotel. I ordered pasta and wings at 8:13 pm. I called the store at 9:20 and asked about my order only to get a confused girl on the phone. I asked about my food and she said I would get it by 10:13!!!! Two hours for pasta and wings. We will NOT be returning to this Pizza Hut location. The service was horrible. We arrived at 11:12 am on Wed, July 11, 2018. This location seated the two of us. There was only one employee handling the front of the restaurant. She seated us promptly but there was only one couple already seated in the restaurant. We stopped for lunch and were hoping this location had the buffet but it doesn't. Because we had a short lunch period, we specifically asked how long it would take a pizza to be served. We were told 10-15 mins since we were the only ones in the restaurant (although she didn't acknowledge the elderly couple already seated at a booth). We decided to stay and order and immediately ordered ice water and garlic knots. She said she was placing the order to the kitchen and would return with our water, we were ready to order when she returned just a few minutes later. We ordered a large chicken taco thin crust pizza at 11:18. While we were waiting, another couple had arrived and was seated. Wondering where our garlic knots were at 11:40 I kept looking to the kitchen. We were expecting the knots to come before the pizza. Finally she brought them out but took them to the table of the first elderly couple. They explained they did not order any but they had ordered bread sticks. She then brought us our garlic knots at 11:42. There was a tray of 10 garlic knots with two plastic servings of marinara sauce. The knots were not hot, just above room temperature and although the garlic butter was good, we were disappointed that only two of the knots had any cheese that was noticeable. The others had very little cheese when we cut them open. We could see there was some cheese but it was vary sparse. Knowing that we were still in a time crunch to get back to work, we were still waiting on the pizza. It arrived at 11:53 and we had to eat it quickly to get back to work. My buddy asked me to pay and was getting the car started. I went up to the front counter to pay. She had another customer that was picking up an order so I patiently waited. She then asked me if I wanted to dine in or order to go. I explained I was just wanting to pay for our lunch. She said ok, your total is $6.57. I asked if she was sure. She said that didn't sound right and said my total was $25.67. I gave her my credit card because we were in a hurry but that didn't seem right to me. What I remembered from the menu was that the garlic knots were $5.99 and the large pizza was $11.99. I didn't have the exact cost of the chicken taco pizza with thin crust though but I didn't have time to challenge it. She originally only gave me my copy of the credit card receipt, not the itemized receipt. I asked her if I could have that copy and she told me she just threw it away and apologized. She looked in the trash and couldn't find it and again apologized. I kept pointing to the receipt that was on the counter and asked for that one. Once she looked at the one I was pointing to she realized that was the correct one and gave it to me. Our credit card receipt reflects 12:05 pm and the order ticket shows 11:19 am. On the way back to work, I noticed we were charged $16.99 for the large thin chicken taco pizza and $6.78 for the garlic knots plus $1.90 tax. That still didn't seem right to me. I tried to find the menu prices for in the restaurant online and the most expensive pizza would have been $16.49 with supreme and stuffed crust options. This pizza had to be less than that and the knots should have been $5.99. I did notice that marinara sauce is listed at $.60 on the online menu and although I didn't see a separate price on our receipt for it, there was a "+50 Marinr" line under the garlic knots but no additional price next to that item. We did not order any marinara sauce, we assumed when it came that it was part of the order. I regret adding the $5.00 tip. I used to tipping 20% but really there wasn't any service. We were seated, she brought us each a water which never was refilled, she never asked how we were doing. She was a hostess and cashier that delivered our order between other tasks of answering the phone and taking care of carry out orders. She delivered our garlic knots to the wrong table and they were no longer warm. For the record, our pizza was hot though. I may be wrong but the prices we were charged were not the prices reflected on the menu but I will have to go back to that location and take a closer look. Bottom line, although Alamogordo is small, we will never return to this location and will share our Pizza Hut experience with our friends and co-workers. Ordered pizza from here just before they closed (9:30ish) ran to CVS down the street & had is here within 30 min. in PERFECT commercial like standard. Everything was soooo fresh & tasy!! Plus the young lady who took my order caught me off guard when she asked how I was doing rather than put me on hold right away like pizza places usually do. I haven't ordered from them in quite sometime. A few years ago I had a delivery driver call me back and tell me off for only tipping $0.38. Well he is calculated the $6.38 tip and proceeded to tell me off. Well I called management and they apologized and told me I would be credited for my next 2 orders and it would be noted. A week later I found a letter from the delivery guy, in my mailbox with no postage (meaning this guy was at my house) apologizing and explaining his reasoning. The. The next week when I try to order they tell me there is no such credit and the guy who told me didn't even work there anymore. After almost a year of not going due to this experience I gave them another chance. Went to dinner with my fam and my wife got food poisoning from their salad. I called just to make them aware, didn't want anything in return because I knew I would never return and was told well you're the only one who has called sooo maybe she is just sick.
