We asked for them to underbake the pizzas a bit and they came out perfectly. They had a nice crisp while still being doughy. The arugula, mushroom, truffle one was all of our favorites. We were greeted immediately and received very attentive and quick service all evening. I had the Shrimp Armando which was delish. Made with shrimp , sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and mushrooms in a pink sauce. Yum yum yum. Oh and the homemade bread; wow it was amazing. It is a small restaurant and if there was one hick up it was that it was warm in there but it is also 95 degrees outside so I give them some leniency on the lack of AC. We are in town for a few days and may have to head back there to try some other dishes. Well done Armando's!

This is NOT true Naples pizza. It's a fake version. I have…read morebeen to many throughout Italy and None serve Italy's finest on thin paper plates! No table service. No beverages in glass and ice! Pizza itself? Toppings ok. SM Sauce is too thin. Not enough cheese. Dough was not cooked enough. Spice is good. $18, no thanks for an undercooked too thin pie. No table service! No iced soda drinks. AND EXPECTING A SERVICE TIP. LOL. Owner and customers need another trip to Naples to sample real Neapolitan pizza. I give the owner a good attempt to bring Naples pizza to Atlanta. Too many try, too many fail. This joint has a chance with a few improvements. Ditch the thin paper picnic paper plates for starters! If you desire to use paper plates with no table service, then reduce your prices. Keep up the good work. You have a good following, just make a few minor changes that would make a big difference. Or maybe a paper plate self service joint is what you want. If so, the pizza will only decline in service.

Called in to go order, was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. Ended up waiting a total of 40 minutes to pick up a sandwich that wasn't even right, and that they refused to fix. Was told "well that's just how we make it" by the child working the register. This place is a black hole for accountability. If you want to sit around for 40 minutes being ignored while they screw up your food and refuse to fix it, this is the place for you. 40+ years in business and they can't even make a club sandwich. Pathetic.

Decided to order a pizza for my birthday and wanted to try something other than a major chain. My…read moreonline search led me to this restaurant, and I ordered an 18 inch pizza, figuring that it would not only be a nice birthday pizza, but also feed me for a couple of days. My experience was extremely disappointing. First, it was clear that no f**ks were given by the kitchen staff because the pie was too large for the box, so they just folded it over so it would fit. This, obviously, is less than ideal, because the toppings stuck to the part of the pizza it was folded over. Not a good start. Then...the taste. Either someone in the kitchen dumped a butt load of salt onto the pizza or the dough was made with too much salt, because all I could taste was SALT. The toppings, when peeled off, were quite edible with no salty taste, so I can only conclude that the pie was either sabotaged in the kitchen or the dough it was made from is garbage. Thank you, Saporitos, for ruining my birthday pie. I will not do business with this restaurant in the future and I recommend that anyone seeking an alternative from the major pizza places avoid this business unless you enjoy a pizza that just tastes like bloody SALT.
