First time ever being there. Service was great. We had a large party and had a little wait time. But when we were seated in a special room to accommodate us we were treated so nice and had excellent service. Our waitress was fantastic. She took our drink orders and by the time she returned with them we were ready to place our food orders. I can't remember her name but she was awesome. I ordered a small house salad and a small Farmhouse pizza. It was DELICIOUS and the salad was fresh and crispy. Everything was good. The dining area was very pleasant and we had plenty of room. I will go again and recommend this place to anyone that wants good food, excellent service and friendly people. read more

Ok, let me start by saying they have very strange hours, but probably because someone did their homework and knows when customers are ready to eat because this place stays BUSY! While they are busy, they have plenty of tables and you rarely have to wait. The service is fast, the prices are a little high but the staff is so courteous and efficiently it makes the prices worth it. It may be called Pizza Farm but they have a FULL menu. This is a gem of a restaurant! It's certainly off the beaten path, but is conveniently located off 278 just as you leave Paulding and enter into Polk County. It's a easy and scenic drive from Paulding, Bartow, West Cobb and Douglas counties. The name does this place a huge disservice. Yes, they have many pizza options but, they have an amazing menu with many other options. Some of my personal favorites are their potato skins, salads (best blue cheese dressing ever...all their dressings are homemade), steaks and seafood. They batter their shrimp and fry to order. They seriously have the best fried shrimp of any place around. Their filet mignon puts the chain steakhouses to same as does their hamburger steak. Lastly, seasonal homemade strawberry ice cream is worth the trip on its own! I give this place my highest recommendation! read more

First of all, this is a rural, "hole in the wall" restaurant and expectations weren't high to begin with. I came here for a family member's birthday dinner one Sunday evening. The food is obviously frozen food anyone could purchase from a store. There is nothing special about the dishes served here. Basically you are paying a high price for someone to prepare food and serve it to you when you could have just made it at home yourself. On the other hand, Rockmart is a really small town and restaurant selection is very limited. Relatively speaking, this may be one of the better choices if you find yourself starving in Rockmart. read more

Pizza Farm is a solid staple for my family. We don't go a lot because, if it is open, it is always packed! The pizza is good, the salad dressings are homemade, and the wait staff is hardworking and friendly. However, it is off the beaten path and you have to know where you're going. It's sort of like Rockmart's best kept secret. It's not my favorite but I like it a lot and would be satisfied if someone said, "Hey, let's go to Pizza Farm." Just be prepared to wait for a table and don't accidentally go on a night they're not open! (That's not fun at all.) read more

Went here a couple of days ago with my family. First time we'd been here in years, as it's a long way from home. The food overall was very good. Ironically their pizza is not the best, but it's not bad, I'd give it a 7/10. We got the fried green tomatoes and cheese fries and both were amazingly good! And their breadbasket is phenomenal! You get yeast rolls and cheese biscuits in the bread basket and what looked like homemade butter. They make their own salad dressing in house, we had some ranch, and it's awesome! I don't understand any negative reviews of this place. The wait staff was nice and the food was very good. Of all the resturants in Rockmart, Pizza Farm is my favorite. On the usual date nights, You have to go early, go late, or have to wait 30+ minutes for a table. The pizzas are different from other places; I like it but others may not. The fried large "Farmer's" shrimp beats most seafood restaurants in quality an taste. Ask for the hand battered chicken tenders; you won't be disappointed. If you like steak and are wanting more for your money, try their steak sandwiches. The Pizza Farm is indeed a rural "hole in the wall" restaurant as mentioned by DeAnna S. That's not at all a slam in my view and just makes her look pretty "citified" in my opinion. This is not a chain, nor is it "trendy or hip". What it IS actually is a family run and long term success story. I think the name actually kind of pigeon holes the restaurant and doesn't get across that they have everything including steaks and seafood here. What really sets this place apart from most is the staff. My wife and I have been regulars here for about 15 years and we've seen the same faces over and over again. They are friendly, regular folks who have good days and bad days like we all do, but they work hard and have always been wonderful to us. We are on a first name basis with several of them and this place just feels like home to my wife and I. My favorite thing here is the baked fish - done "the old way". Just say it like that and they'll know what you mean. The new way isn't bad...I just like the old way. Anyway - this place has never pretended to be anything but country. It's decorated with thing's from Georgia's rural past and they don't try to be something they aren't. There's even a friendly little dog that hangs around the front door that has a tag around it's neck that says "Pizza Farm Dog". That is one well fed dog let me tell you so don't feel bad if you don't want to toss him scraps out of your take home box. :) To sum it up - if you like good food cooked by down to earth people in a rural "hole in the wall" setting - this place is for you. Wish I hadn't spent the money, the pizza (1 cheese and 1 with everything) tasted like it was frozen with just extra toppings added for about $30. Rural family owned hole in the wall restaurants is my thing. After living in Rockmart for 4 months, I admit I got tired of being asked "have you been to pizza farm yet?!" I've seen the signs on the side of 278 for years and down by Coots lake but I didn't really know where it was and thought it was gonna be some greasy gas station style pizza. Boy I couldn't have been more wrong. I've been told (now that's a reliable source huh?) that this place has been around since at least the 1960s and has been added onto several times. The parking lot is TINY and VERY crowded. You see cars from all over GA in the parking lot (and by parking lot I mean parking lot, ditch, grass, sides of the road.. COME EARLY!) They also have some dogs that hang around. I don't know if they belong to the family or if they're just hungry dogs that hang out waiting on leftovers from people with to go boxes that can't say no to a fuzzy face. Either way, if you're afraid of or even allergic to dogs, don't worry. They won't pay you no mind if you don't pay them any. They seem very well socialized to the busy climate at the front door. Inside it's.. well a "country restaurant." Think sorta home grown cracker barrel except not a bunch of junk thats for sale. The waiting area is good sized, you put your name in, sit down, and they call it out. They don't have little buzzers that I could see. This could be a problem during noisy peak hours, so.. maybe put in a really goofy name? The menu is MORE THAN PIZZA. I can't stress this enough. THIS ISN'T JUST A PIZZA PLACE. If you don't like pizza or even THEIR pizza, you're ok! They have a full menu of fish, shrimp, hamburgers, steaks, chicken, and all the southern fixins (well I didn't check for mac n cheese.. but I know they have fried green tomatoes and fried dill pickles!) Since there were 5 of us, we all had something different. so I got to taste a little bit of everything. (except the pizza, but I smelled it and saw someone else eating it and it looked good to me!) So here ya go: Chicken strips: YUM! 4 strips, you might need to trim em a bit yourself if you dont like skin hanging off one side, but that's no different than zaxbys. Any time you find hand breaded chicken you're gonna run into this problem (if you consider it a problem.) Shrimp: Looks great! I admit I only had one and it was just fine with me, but by then I was fulla chicken. Hamburger Steak: Eehhhh.. I'm not gonna shout this one from the rooftops. It's HUGE but its mediocre. I think I can make a better burger. Maybe toss in some grilled onions, then you're probably golden. Salad: Ask for cheese! They use the pizza cheese and it tastes great on the sald. It's HUGE and the ranch is delicious! Fried Green Tomatoes: Well, ok you know how a funnel cake tastes? Picture that as batter. Hey now! Don't go "eugh" at me! Try it! Just.. get it as a side first to see what ya think. Baked potato: Perfect! Huge, flavorful, cooked all the way through. Hushpuppies: Sadly disappointing store bought prefab blah. Probably ok with some ketchup but I'm sorry, I was unimpressed. Bread: All you can eat dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. I don't like cinnamon butter but I DO like rolls. They were tasty! Service: Friendly, slow, but that wasn't her fault. We had 2 giant families come in right before us and get their orders in. The kitchen was backed up. Took us about 30 minutes+ to get our party of 5's food, but I do not believe this is normally the case. Price: for 3 of our 5 to have good meals, about $47. Not bad, a bit more than average but I've paid more for a meal for us.. so I'm ok with it. Yall give it a try! I know you see a lot of people on here saying "I drove past 5000 papa johns for this??" but this place isn't just about pizza, AND its family owned, thats worth some points on it's own. I'm a hometown girl that has enjoyed this place since for as long as I can remember. The pizza is good, but don't be fooled by the name. The menu includes many options that aren't Italian. One of my favorites is the boneless fried chicken breast (you get 2!). Lots of food for the price paid! The lasagna is wonderful. Steaks cooked to perfection every time. Fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, yummy fresh salads that are served with homemade dressings and the fresh yeast and cheddar biscuits. You just can't go wrong! We visited The Pizza Farm tonight for the first time. Over all, we were impressed. Our server was Maggie and she was AWESOME! She mentioned she was off her game due to a cold but we felt she was a phenomenal server! The food wasn't quite what we expected it to be though. Restaurant is in need of a good deep clean. Doughy unflavored rolls and biscuits arrived at our table as an appetizer with cinnamon butter (much like Texas Roadhouse). Made for a weird mix on these and made no sense. Ordered 3 Pizzas. " Farm Pizza" is OK, the other ordered were disgusting (1 Ham/Pineapple/bacon, 1 Pepperoni/cheese). For the most part, Pizza at the Pizza Farm tastes like a frozen Red Baron. Waitress messed up my order, everyone else's order was correct. She was polite and offered a peach cobbler as compensation for the mistake. This was the only amazing edible I found. *And it was amazing!! Overall, it feels like a change in the kitchen is a must. We ordered a steak and salad. The steak had absolutely no flavor. I tried to flag the server to acquire some A-1 sauce but could not get her attention. I finally left the table to get it myself. Our friends pizza looked more appealing, but when I decided to try a piece, I was disappointed, to say the least. The owner was at the front counter when I went to pay, but couldn't be bothered asking me how I enjoyed my meal because she was too busy in a deep conversation with another guest.
