What a nice addition to our area where we can get consistent quality, food and not have to drive 20 minutes each way. The remodel looks great and mostly new. Lots of booths for dining and a long bar for watching sports on the tv. We visited on a Monday evening. There was a good amount of business from locals, many eating in but a lot of take out too. There were only two young people working and they did an awesome job balancing making the pizza, taking orders and checking on customers. It was impressive because it seemed like with that many customers there should have been more staff working. The pizza was good. Plenty of toppings including fresh tasting ingredients. The crust is on the thick side but it is hand pulled and great texture! Price is typical, but discounts if you download the app! We will be back! read more

Service was good but slightly frustrating.. we were told 40 minute wait for food which was understandable since it was Saturday. Pizza was undercooked, breadsticks were forgotten and the wings came out after the pizza. Okay no big, we're still goin with the flow. The girls were extremely sweet and apologetic and brought our exact pizza back recooked. It was delicious after that... But my complaint is mostly with management. who was running the show? I didn't see an adult in sight. The girl handling the beer and wine probably wasn't old enough to legally pour beer and didn't know the difference between the beers. Well for one, not only did it take 40 min for this specific pizza but they got it wrong. then got slammed so two people in our group didn't eat for over an hour. A person in our group made a JOKE "if you guys want some help, I can come back and sling some 'f-n' pizzas out" and apparently one of the girls took it as him cussing at her. Whatever. Freedom of speech, grow up. At this point we weren't even mad at the girls working- (which the chick brought it to our attention were all minors btw why do they have all minors working at a hot spot in the middle of summer serving BEER) - anyways, Whoever the manager or scheduling manager is needs to figure it out. We love pizza factory and we love this new location! We used to go here when it was White Water Pizza. I give them 4 stars because of the lack of games for the kids and its very loud and echoing inside. The outside is great tho. The staff was young but nice and helpful. The pizza was great but they never seem to have the pizza spatula that every pizza place should serve with pizza at the restaurant. Sadly this is common at most pizza places these days. We will be back soon, before summer and the nice river weather is over! read more

I love this location and place but the manager Nick is garbage. He is rude, dismissive and makes you feel uncomfortable the second you walk in. The sweet girls making pizza are behind him - and this guy stands Behind the cash register with a nasty unwelcoming look on his face and when I asked about drinks or options with drinks he snidely, replied, as though it was bothering him immensely that I dare ask a question. The place is amazing other than the garbage manager that for some reason they have planted at the front of the store which is the last thing they should have if you really want people to enjoy their experience. Get a new face to represent this business. If I didn't go back, the only reason would be is because of him because I would rather drive all the way to Pizza Factory In Placerville downtown then deal with this jerk. read more

New decor is awesome - crossy road & two claws in the game room - we really like this place. Always have, but no fountain drinks was odd and the "cheese pizza" was unimpressive, as it was missing cheese on a good portion of the pizza. The long haired blonde needs an attitude adjustment, a customer service class and an education on social etiquette. I'm sure we got a spit serving in the pizza and probably some dog hair since they allow dogs everywhere in the restaurant. Including the blue Pitt that was barking at other customers. The outside sitting area smelled like pigeon dung. Probably bc it was everywhere and all over the tables where you eat. The lights were dropped down in an unsafe for kids style (see pic) The place was empty when we walked in but 3 tables were dirty. Bought a glass of wine, and the glass wasn't filled up even 1/4 of the glass. Tried to enjoy out pizza regardless of all the above, but the flies wouldn't leave us alone. Landing on our food and our bodies non stop bc there was so many. The place looks like a nice place to eat, being on the river...but it's a dump. Pure dump. Don't go here. I'm so disappointed. We were just passing through Lotus (from San Jose) and happened to see this off the road. We've been to pizza factory before but this was next level. We stumbled upon the very first day open for this shop. The service was incredible, everyone was so sweet. They really made the atmosphere feel really inviting and warm. The food was somehow better than any other location we've been to as well. 10/10! read more

We came in on January 18, 2026 at about noon for lunch. Both employees on duty were courteous and professional. We ordered three individual pizzas and local wine and beer and dined on the deck. The pizzas came out within 15 minutes and tasted great with crispy dough and zesty sauce. The beverages were also quite good. The restaurant (including restroom) was clean, and the recent interior remodel looks great. Overall, a excellent experience! read more

Always friendly service and good pizza. They don't oversalt the dough or sauce, which I really like and appreciate. The toppings are fresh. I usually order the sun dried tomato and pesto or the veggie combo. Have had the Greek veggie and that one is good too. My husband likes the Factory Special or the other combo. The only suggestion I would say is be just a tad more generous with the toppings. We don't dine there often, usually get take out on the way home from work, but do like to enjoy the back deck with the beautiful river view when we do stay to eat. WOW, the Lotus/Coloma community just got a huge upgrade. This Pizza Factory is NOT your typical PF restaurant; the owners are local to the area and incorporated local rafting photos and custom designed the the dining experience with the local mining history. I love the large family booth in the mining cave and the mining carts on the deck over looking the river. Great local brews too! Don't miss this place when in town! read more

First off the remodel looks amazing! My mouth hit the floor! The out door seating is stunning! They took coal mining carts and made them into tables! Gorgeous view of the river and I mean who wouldn't want to sit next to the river and enjoy a meal with family? I love the river theme inside as well. The tables were wood with a blue waved epoxy running down the middle to look like a river. The pictures on the walls were fun to look at as well. Second the service was stellar. Ruby was very sweet and engaged in conversation with me. She even told me I sound like Emma Stone which was super flattering! All of the staff were really friendly. Third, the food was great! I always have been a fan of PF so I was excited to learn that the old Pizza parlor (which was wonderful as well, but sadly closed), was turning into a PF. The pizza was piping hot and delicious. My family will be enjoying many fun nights here! Oh and my daughter won a ton of stuffies in the claw machine! We really enjoyed our time. I guess if I were to say anything remotely negative about it is the inside is loud. Me and my partner came to a pizza factory restaurant in lotus California , we were both treated poorly from the start we were discriminated against for being a gay female couple we were rushed to order , our Alfredo fettuccine was cold when my partner took it to the front to let the teenagers know one of the females working snatched it from her hands and asked one of her coworkers how long did they cook it for because apparently it's cold , everytime we asked for something we got eyes rolled at us and attitude, the one guy worker came to our table and threw the pasta on the table and told us we need to check it before he leaves our table , I am very upset we have never been treated like that before . Love the renovations done - great decor and clean . The crust on the pizza was very good - crisp not soggy. Others in my party really liked the baked spaghetti. I also like the option to order a "pizza bread" if you just want a small amount. The salads are good and a good portion- love that they are served on the to-go foil containers makes it easy to leave when you are ready . The staff seems newer and hesitant to search out who's order they have / so that delayed us getting food. But still think it's a good little pizza spot . read more
