The Grand Daddy. Those are normal size dinner plates. That's how big this thing is .....
Randy C.

I love this place. And, I love my man BJ, the owner. I've been a customer since I moved to Castro Valley back when he had both stores. The pizza is hot and tasty. And, everybody needs to order the Grand Daddy once in their life. The thing is gigantic. I needed my wife's SUV to pick out up and bring it home!!!!!

Price of items other than pizzas as of 3/14/26

Pizza is decent. We didn't order anything special, just a slice of cheese pizza, a large 2-topping, and 10-pc bbq wings. About $56. Service was slow in the evening on a Saturday. Called in to place order and was told 30 mins. Got there in 30 mins and we had to wait 10 more mins. It's okay since we are doing this for school fundraiser.

14" Large Garlic Chicken Special Pizza with stuffed crust and garlic sauce

Best pizza in town! Their pizzas are delicious and they offer stuffed crust! They do not skimp on the toppings, not too greasy and the flavors are spot on. the crust is not too thin or too thick and just perfect in my opinion. I prefer Pizza Express over Roundtable any day.

First time at this establishment. My kids were looking for something quick to ear after practices. The. Gentlemen that works here was nice and friendly. Appreciated that he washes his hands before preparing the slices. We placed an order for 4 slices of pepperoni. Small parking space out front. Takes cash and card Slices are almost Costco sizes. The kids enjoyed this pizza over Costco pizza. We would definitely like to come back.

Pepperoni, mushrooms, cheese

We're lucky to live down the street from Pizza express. We order from here once in a while when craving pizza. Our orders usually take 30 mins, which isn't too bad. They have an outdoor area but it's nothing nice. We recently got a cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom extra large pizza. $30 for 3 toppings extra large. Recommend if you want quick pizza to enjoy at home.

They also have various events. :: Trivia Tuesday :: Wednesday Wine Tasting :: Live Music Saturdays :: Friday & Saturday: Olive & Finn Boutique and pop-up events throughout the month ** 5 Star Review: Pop Up Brunch and Saturday Live Music *** I recently attended Eats by E Brunch last Sunday and returned this evening to catch up with a friend and listen to music. Place is spacious, lively, dimly lit with music playing at a level you can have a conversation. Table ordered a steak sandwich with salad, cheese sandwich with tomato soup and a five-spice pork ragu over polenta. We all enjoyed our dishes. Food is 3.5-4/5 stars and would like to see a bit more to keep it interesting but know their kitchen setup is limited. No wine with this visit. Dessert: Orange brownie was simple with orange zest and the Hawaiian bread pudding was different and flavorful. Good to see the place bustling and look forward to future rotating pop up events. Got a chance to talk to the owner, Stacey as I recognized her from the Eats by E event the week prior. My bad, didn't know she was the owner of Cordial Cellar & Lounge but all good as she was super welcoming, friendly and was very accommodating when asked if we could pay for our own dishes separately. At the end of the evening perused the Olive & Finn Boutique and quickly welcomed by Jackie who was explaining items like the handmade jewelry and some hand stitched clothing. Such cute items and will visit another time. Recommend Cordial Cellar & Lounge for a date night, special group outing or relax and listen to some music. It's serene, grounding, and quietly stunning--a place that invites you to slow down, take a deep breath, and savor both the wine and the moment. From the moment you arrive, the owners will make you feel like old friends. Their passion for what they do truly shines through, and the service is friendly, attentive, and never rushed. You can tell this is a labor of love, not just a business. The wines are fantastic--with something for everyone. I love the chardonnays and my bf loves their wine slushies. Very refreshing on a hot day. Another plus is you can bring your own food as long as there is not an event taking place where they serve food. Be sure to check their website calendar before you arrive. If you're looking for a one of a kind place in Castro Valley, that is beautiful, relaxing, family‑run, and genuinely special, this is it. It's the kind of winery you want to bring all your friends, and recommend without hesitation. Highly recommend.

Tucked away along the winding backroads of Castro Valley, this charming winery feels like a little secret escape. It's quiet, secluded, and has a really welcoming vibe. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. I learned the winery has been around since 2003 and produces around 1,000 cases a year. All sold exclusively at the vineyard. We did a tasting that included a sparkling, two whites, two reds, and ended with a fun slushy rosé. Honestly, I liked every single one which never happens for me! After the tasting, we didn't want to leave. The setting was so relaxing, we ended up opening one of the two bottles we bought and spent the rest of the afternoon soaking it all in. A few tips if it's your first time: tastings are only offered on the second and fourth weekends of each month. There's a $10 tasting fee for six wines, but it's waived if you purchase a bottle (which are very reasonably priced at around $16). They don't sell food, but you're welcome to bring your own, something we'll definitely do next time. So glad we found this place such a peaceful spot, just minutes from home. We'll definitely be back!

But I've been in about a half dozen times during the day hours, either hanging out with friends before or after visiting a restaurant in the neighborhood. Anytime I've been in, its been pretty chill, always room on the bartop, some lounging/couch areas if you prefer. Drinks are dive bar cheap which is my comfort zone, but that is not to say that people only drink cheap sh%# here. You can drink whatever you want, but their pricing is just super fair and non-gouging. I'm sure there are lounge-ier spots within these blocks that want to charge $15-$18 per drink, but I'm not about that noise, never have been. The thing I really like about this dive is their sound system, even from their jukebox. It is always so clear and encompassing, even when the music is at a loud level. Other bars, if the accoustics are wrong, then loud music can be intrusive and/or irritating. Not here, maybe the big space is good for that, but I also think they have super nice speakers in the right spots to surround you with cool tunes. And I like music from many genres so even when other people are playing their music, I can still have a good time. And a couple of drinks with some good company, with some good nostalgic tunes on blast, I just can't help but have only good times here. I'll dive back here without hezzy.
