Pretty good pie. The crust was mid-thickness. We tasted their red sauce which was thick and flavorful, the cheese pizza had a good helping of cheese. We also ordered the weekly special which was the shrimp scampi pizza with added bacon, also delicious. The lake placid was topped well and had a nice saltiness from the additional feta. I ended up with their Lunch Box Soecial -- 6" cold sub, choice of pasta or macaroni salad, (stale) chips, and a 20oz drink for $7.19. The hubs, who I guess is watching his girlish figure, went for one slice of pizza. Which he inhaled. We'll go back again, because it's not too far of a drive, but it's nothing spectacular. Grand total was under $10. If you plan on dining in, the restrooms are Employees Only, so make sure you... Ya know... Go... Before you an the family/friends come in. This pizza is terrible. The times I've tried its been inconsistent at best. Very doughy, lacking flavor. The subs are also poor - little meat, limp veggies, stale bread. They offer brownies at the front counter, which are clearly made from a box. Over-all one of the better pizza and wing joints in the Saratoga/Ballston-Spa area. We got a medium cheese pizza and a dozen mild wings and finished everything. Pizza was perfectly cooked, golden crust, and a great flavor in the sauce with the perfect amount of cheese. Wings were amazing for mild. Great flavor and not just "mild". We think the wings are fried and then baked (??) because the meat is great and just falls right off the bone. As a child, this place was always my favorite. My father and I used to go out to lunch here for years. It has become a tradition to go out to lunch here whenever I visit home. I'm thankful that the recipe hasn't really changed. My father has known Mike (the owner) and his family for some time and they are all very sweet. It's fun to catch up with them. Although it's the not an upscale restaurant or anything like that, it's very family friendly, great for take-out and I think the food is really great and the staff are always wonderful. My family only orders pizza from here when we are in Saratoga. Our favorite is the garlic shrimp pizza which is a little different than what people are used to, but fantastic. The service is always happy and they are quick. It's not a traditional NY pizza, especially if you get the square cuts, but it won't disappoint. read more

By far the best pizza in ballston spa and saratoga. My personal favorite is the mexican pizza. But its all good could be priced a little better but it good either way! This is for the most part a carry-out delivery place. Great place to stop at though for a quick bite they always seem to have slices ready to go. Subs and wings are good to and the calzones are in the same category as the pizza. If you want it more traditional get it thin and crispy. If you need good pizza for a large group try this place out. Their 24 count is a monster and was delicious. It's a little different than many of the other local pizza joints but great quality and worth trying for a change. Kids loved it as well. We had a Caesar salad which had real garlic bread croutons and was excellent. Prices are good too. The 24 cut cheese was less than $20! They have a huge menu and good family deals. Definitely going to try some pasta next time. My order was for pickup but they have plenty of seating for dining there and a friendly staff. Check it out. read more
