Quite good pizza but $18.92 for an 11' pizza with 4 toppings is ridiculous. It's cheaper in LA ! But good and obviously fresh ingredients. It's probably to stick to the pre-defined pizza and avoid extra toppings. read more

We have eaten at this restaurant three times. The first time we ate in the restaurant, the 11" Pizza was great ( The Michael Angelo" and enough go two adults, but the load Wrap music ? was too much to enjoy, two migraine pills and 15 minutes of horizontal rest in a dark room provided SOME RELIEF. The second time we ordered the same pizza to go. When we got home, 6 miles away the pizza was cold, had curled edges and about half of the amount of the ordered toppings as the first pizza. The third time we ate in, it was obvious that the base ingredients were cooked earlier in the day and our requested toppings were added and heated up when we ordered the pizza, which was delivered to our table 21 minutes after we ordered it. I stopped by for dinner and I'm a fan. The service was great and I can't find anything to complain about. I had mango habanero wings and they were perfect and by perfect I mean they had a little crisp which is how I like them. Perfect balance of sweet & spicy. I also had the caprese crostini which was delicious, almost as delicious as their Diablo Pizza that followed. The Diablo has mozzarella, salami, pepperonis, sun dried tomatoes and jalapeños on it. It had the perfect amount of heat and their house made pizza dough is nice and crispy. I was sad to see Nonna Vivis close but Pizza e Vino is a great replacement. I'll be back again & again. It's great to have a new restaurant option in Rio Rico, and a good one at that. read more

Well, Valentines Day for this place was not good. And that is being kind. Their pasta dishes in the past have been really good. I suggest sticking with what you know how to prepare and give up the steaks. And DON'T serve raw baked potatoes that are BLACK inside. And don't make your customers wait 1 1/2 hours to get their salads. I don't mind visiting with my wife, but most others were really not happy. Wait staff need training. And the music selection really needs improvement. Really now, expansion is supposed to be good, but this is not a good start. read more

Pizza vino is excellent! The service was superior, and food first class. We had pizza and a pasta dish. The spices were perfect with lots of sun dried tomatoes. Chicken was tender and the wine pairing perfect. Great place. One other review said there was rap music. There was quiet background music; no rap. The pizza was perfect. Been there three times now. Extraordinary! Don't be fooled by the casual attire worn by (what I would call) young staffers. They know their wine (I recommend just the house Chianti) and they know how to cook! Recommendations: Pizza carnivore, meatball sliders and an Alfredo chicken dish. This pizza joint is the best place in Southern Arizona for steak and pizza! Finding a good steak south of Tucson is difficult. This place serves perfectly cooked to order rib-eyes and super reasonable prices! I read a review before I went the first time about not letting the casual atmosphere guide your decision and they were correct! Neapolitan pizza in Rio Rico Az? Who would have thought. It is true. Two of the owners, (locals) went to Naples, got training and certified as Neapolitan pizza makers. They came back and opened the restaurant. Interesting menu. I'll be back to try more. I ordered the Mona Lisa to go with olives and had a glass of the house Cabernet while I waited and watched the small crowd's enjoyment of their orders. This was a little after 4 so I imagine the crowd growing as time went on. Maybe "crowd" isn't the best word to describe the customers. About 3 tables were occupied with about six more available and more customers came in. Salads, pasta, pizza and more I'll be back in to try some more goodies. read more

Drove down from Phoenix and found this gem! Love this place food and service was amazing! Pizza (Capone) was traditional to Tuscany style with robust flavor! Relaxing and casual environment... no room for desert but the coconut shrimp we're perfectly placed on desert yogurt and that was surprising perfect! read more

I've been here a couple times when I come home and visit my family from Tucson and it's been terrific. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and provided me with great service which is really hard to find in the Nogales/Rio Rico area. I had the Diablo and Carnivore pizzas, both delicious along with their oven baked wings which were both crispy and spicy (I live for great wings) and the coldest beer I've had in a while. Awesome atmosphere. Amazing wait staff we had Amelia she was super informative, attentive and sweet. The new sushi menu is small but delicious. The other waitress was also pleasant with her interactions around us. Definitely a go to gem in Rio Rico. read more
