Pasta was good, tasted fresh, but the food cooled off very, very quickly and there wasn't enough sauce on it. Had ok amount of flavor. The service was good, friendly and warm. He was super loud yelling on the phone we could barely talk to each other while sitting across from one another, when the food came out we barely got even 2 bites down before we felt the need to have to ask for a takeout dish and throw it out outside the restaurant, the food was undercooked and not made at all how we ordered it. The best part of the food was the drink which was a little ADL bottle of chocolate milk. The restaurant itself looked very run down like he hasn't had anyone come in a long time and like he wasn't expecting anyone to come anytime soon. Unsure how it is still in business, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

C The sausage we were served was black and hard. She couldn't cut it with a knife. The toast could hardly be considered toast at all. It was very lightly toasted on one side - when I mentioned this to the server she said - yes, our toaster sometimes does that. IMO if it sometimes happens get it fixed, We like our bacon crispy but not THAT crispy! The coffee was terrible. All for the princely sum of $37. It appeared to have one server on, with a couple of table runners. The chef did come out at one point and asked how it was. Everyone was friendly and inviting. The oysters were fabulous! Clean and bright. The seafood chowder was the best I have had here on island. The club was good, on focaccia that was tasty. The cappuccino comes in a teeny cup. Beer available. We asked for the non alcoholic one on the board, was told they had been out for quite a while and offered a different one (take it off the board?) The lobster roll. Ok, it was small for the price. The roll it was in was heavy and overwhelmed the lobster with flavour. The dressing in the lobster was tasty, but it did not taste fresh and bright as the roll was so much. I would definitely go back for the chowder. Skip down to the lobster shack for their lobster roll if that is what you are looking to eat.
