This place has really great pizza! Just be prepared to come ready to eat an entire pie on your own or to share with someone. The staff is friendly and this spot is always busy. I think they may have renovated their look since I've been two years ago but still great tasting pizza in Barcelona. I highly recommend taking a stroll and coming here. #YoureWelcome @Curlyintheusa

Food: 4.5/5.0 Service: 3.0/5.0 Value: 3.5/5.0 Decor: 3.0/5.0 Overall: 4.0/5.0 Pro tip for the n00bs out there: If there's bufala on the menu at a pizzeria, get the bufala. This place was great, though add it to the list of pizzerias with an Italian pizza oven. When you can cook your pies in 60 seconds at a billion degrees, your pizza is going to kick some ass. And when you offer to make your pizzas with bufala for an extra Eur2, then you've just built a massive trump card into your menu. I didn't notice any other tables take up the bufala option on any of their pies. They were clearly all n00bs. Sortidor makes a great pie as per usual given the above inputs, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say that their crust recipe isn't quite as good as the other really highly rating pizza spot in the Barceloneta area (I'm sure you can figure out who that is). I can't quite put my hands on it, but for one, I would suggest upping the salt usage in the dough. Still a 4.5/5.0 (perhaps just below) on food quality thanks to the universal bufala option. Also a great price at Eur7-8 + obligatory Eur2 bufala. Its not super clean and fairly tight but the ambiance is very chill/hipster which I found perfect. I envy you if you live nearby and can get takeout every day. I also envy you if you're just randomly in the area and have an hour to kill.

This came highly recommend by some of my friends. Tuesdays & Wednesdays are the days to go because every pizza on the menu is 7€. What a deal! Keep in mind this is a CASH only. It's a bit hot in the restaurant, especially if you're sitting closer to the oven. There's a TV and I was hoping they were going to play the fútbol game but they said no. The pizzas are huge so I recommend sharing one. I couldn't finish one whole one by myself. My favorite is the cabra y bacon. It says it's spicy but it's not at all. The special thing about this place is the dough. One bite and you know what I'm talking about. So far this is the best pizza that I've tried so far in Barcelona. This will be a regular spot for me.

    Shoulda sat there

Made the trek. Thought I had the wrong place, small out of the way spot and empty when I came upon it. That quickly changed and the place filled with locals and tourists. Probably best not to screw w the toppings - I did and it didn't work out as well as the pies I saw coming out straight from the menu. A perfect "boite" and refreshing departure from touristy spots

Since my slow but sure migration toward Montjüic's hillside (Poble Sec), I've been yearning for the good, quality pizza you can find more centrally in Barcelona (read my review, for instance, of NAP). As a true pizza addict, then, I was absolutely *thrilled* to drop in last night at Pizza del Sortidor, an impressive pizzeria in the heart of Poble Sec. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, *all* of their pizzas (some ranging in price up to 12 or 13 euros a pie) are available for 7€...Amazing! I ordered the Caprese and a glass of wine. The pizza was massive, with a deliciously authentic, chewy, and charred crust and a particularly exciting savory tomato sauce. The pizza was overflowing with arugula, mozzarella, and fresh tomatoes. WOW! Absolutely delicious. What's better? The red house wine goes perfectly with the pizzas--I am in love. There are a couple of oddities about this place (the lack of silverware and plates, for instance...you'll see when you get there) that make it a bit quirky, but their pizzas are spectacular. I will be back to Pizza del Sortidor, and I can't wait!

What can i say! Insane pizzas, with such fresh ingredients! We went for one each but could have easily shared! Has a perfect laid back, street food style. Pizzas arrive in boxes so no washing up. Beers in plastic cups (2euro). Service was quick on a Sunday lunch & let you take a doggy bag home - not that we needed it! Finished off the meal with a complimentary shot of limoncello straight from the freezer! Ooh top tip - pizzas are 7 euro on a tues & weds.

You know the pizza's good when they serve it on cardboard and the place is still packed. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, come for their €7 full pizzas! I recommend coming a little bit before they open because the line gets really long. My favorite is the one with lots of arugula, parmesan, and spanish cured jamon. Sometimes when I went here I would split a pizza and sometimes I ate it all myself ;) Grab a cheap beer too!

Caprese pizza - tomato sauce, fresh tomatoes, arugula, and fresh mozarella

This is a no-frills place with great pizza and very affordable prices. On Wednesday all pizzas are half price (or something like that) so expect it to be hectic, crowded, and sweaty. A huge variety of pizzas are made in a proper wood over. They are large enough for 2 people to share, or be piggy and get your own. They also serve beer, red or white wine, and I suggest finishing with an ice-cold Limoncello. You can also get your pizza to go. Menus are in English on one side, Spanish on the other. Plenty of vegetarian options.

    Caprese - delicious!

Best pizza I've ever had in my life! I got the Caprese and it was phenomenal. Especially the tomatoes! The service was great, friendly and quick. This place is super popular, so it has a great energy. I will definitely return here when I visit Barcelona again.

Went to the one in hostafrancs/carrer de vilardell. Best Pizza I ever had in my life and im originally from NY. If there's one thing that makes me come back to barcelona...it would be this. Amazing quality cheese and tomato sauce. The spicy pepperoni (diavola) was just mouthwatering. 38 Fire emojis for this place.

Best pizza in Barcelona paired with Barcelona's best beer! Pizza pictured: Ramon (without olives)

Let me start by saying I'm a New Yorker so I know good pizza. Pizza el sortidor serves magnificent pizza... by New York standards. Factor in the fact that every pie is 7 euros on Tuesdays and Wednesday's and it would be in the running for best pizza in New York. I ordered the Ramon and it was delicious. I polished the whole thing off by myself in 10 min. Shoutout to the fact that they have legit chile habanero sauce (hard to find actual spicy condiments in Barcelona) and a very tasty housemade chili flake oil (that's right, an oil to drizzle on your pizza, not your traditional sprinkling of chili flakes) to complement the pizza. Looking forward to trying more pies here...

    Blanco Pizza
    Travis L.

Came here with my girlfriend late night, 11pm to grab some pizza because the reviews were great. Service is fast and seems like a local spot that people flock too when everything else is closed. We had the white pizza (Blanco) which wasn't good. The crust was soggy and overwhelming amount of different cheeses. I expected it being a wood brick oven place that the crust would be thin and crispy but it was he total opposite, we couldn't finish it. For the price, you can't really complain, my expectations were high.

Ok yea I know what your thinking pizza in Spain.... Yea well it is pretty dang good pizza my friend. Fresh ingredients and well priced menu made this place I plan trying a few times while in Spain. We ended up eating there three times in six days.

We split these among 4 people and had 4 slices leftover for breakfast.

Well... Yelp says it's open but it's actually closed. Walked all the way here based on the great reviews. Too bad.

Tried the crystallized onion (they've added sweetener when caramelizing the onion) which is delicious, but very sweet. Also tried the meat lovers, which was as expected. The staff was very accommodating, especially when I spilled half of my order taking it to the table and they graciously replaced it. Also had the Nutella Girella for dessert, pizza crust layered with Nutella and rolled up. It is very sweet, but the dough becomes a little tough. They offer seating inside and out, with smoking permitted outside.

There was a vast selection of square pizzas available for choosing. I chose 3 different types with the knowledge that I was over ordering. All of the flavors ordered were great - especially the one with the extra cheese melted over three top. The dough was a bit thick but crunchy which I loved. Seating-wise, there were seats inside in the back or outside, out front. The outdoor seating has a pretty good view for people watching and socializing, but the indoor seating was warm with it being chilly outside. The staff was very friendly and for the English speakers, bilingual. Definitely recommend this place!
