Really good pizza! I have never had a bad slice here. The bread is flavorful and is not soggy. It holds all the ingredients well. The toppings also taste fresh and the veggies are crispy. If you go on a weekend, expect it to be beyond packed, so you may be better off taking your order to go. There are usually lots of students and this is also a favorite for co-ed sports teams, so like I said, expect a full house. Overall, solid choice for pizza with lots of variety in toppings. read more

Pizza Classics is a staple! Great option for some late night pizza cravings. Their pizza is GREAT! Wings are ok, but nothing to write home about. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Had issue getting to location due to event down the road. I explained both entries were blocked off and i still wanted my food. Because the pizza is worth trying to get. The person who claims to be the Manager said the entries were open. I explained they were not, and he continued to argue it was flowing. I even took pictures after circling 3 times. He felt he had to have the last word, and hung up on me. I called back to speak with owner and he changed his story that an hour earlier it was flowing which I'm sure it was but not at the times i was trying to get my food. Nonetheless, service never improved nor did the arguing trying to justify his responses! Plus i didn't get the pizza i promised my family. Food is great! I won't deny that, but service & service from a "MANAGER" was extremely poor. read more

Yet another San Antonio restaurant who has a broken online ordering system and when you call the person on the other end can't seem to hear. With modern technology which has automatic ambient noise filtering that's a crap excuse. Let's go for all shit restaurants Yelp. How many more will have broken online ordering. Do not recommend this place. Stick to making pizzas for bars. Online ordering is broken and calling rude employees sucks. read more

Most definitely a good experience. Right when I walk in I see them tossing pizza dough. At that point I was sold on the pizza. The pizza has a nice crust it's not all doughy. You get a nice crunch. Their sauce has a nice tang. Very different from other pizza spots. If you're in the area it's well worth stopping in. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! The cashier charged me 179.14 for one pizza, 12 wings and three drinks. When asked, the cashier said that was the total cost. After i asked for a refund, I was told it was an error and the true cost was 60 dollars. That is still too much just for a pizza, 12 wings and three drinks. Asked for a full refund and left. They only seemed to be mad that they got caught in the act price gouging the customers. read more

Not that much parking but this place has great food. The place is clean and the people there are super sweet. The food came out fast, hot and delicious. The pizza had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The meatballs sub was delicious it had just the right amount of sauce wear it did not make the bread soggy. Visiting from Nola - we placed an order through ubereats to our hotel. Ordered a medium classic pepperoni pizza, six of their regular (means Buffalo) wings and four Mexican cokes! The pizza was good, crust was crispy and fluffy. The wings are what I would go back for, they were a good size and had great flavor. They do in-house delivery and our delivery guy was super nice! Recommend trying it, especially if you're visiting from out of town! read more

Delicious pizza. First things first the staff here are amazing and so helpful to everyone. The sweet lady at the counter talked to me for a few minutes about each of the pizzas and the favorites and their deals. Then the food comes and these pizzas are so tasty. We got a half and half bbq chicken and steak and cheese. The kids shared an all cheese and all three were so good and the crust was amazing. I can't think you can go wrong with any flavor of pizza. read more

If you want a good pizza cure , this is the spot. I've never been dissatisfied with their pizza or to go orders. They have a basic menu but their crust and cheese to sauce ration is on point. This isn't a fancy pizza but it will absolutely replace my papa johns fix and I'll order from this local spot instead! read more

Food is 7/10 & service is 3/10. The staff does not accommodate first time customers. I got a " specialty pizza " and I did not know that you get a second pizza for free nor was I offered the second one. I feel they could've done better if they want retuning costumers. Yep. There actually is a not well known pizza place that is just that good. It's Pizza Classics! Excellent phone service. Excellent delivery. Excellent food. Placed our order over the phone for delivery and the nicest young lady helped me out. She didn't rush like most places would. Got everything just right. The sweet chili wings are amazing and the pizza is very good. Super satisfying for a rainy day stuck in the hotel. Will always use them when we stay downtown from now on. read more

Love the pizza from here! At the time we went it was buy one get one free so we ordered the margarita pizza which was so good you'll and a regular pepperoni pizza. We dined in but they do have take out of course. The pizza was made fresh and didn't take long at all to make. I ordered from the last week ahead of time. So that way when I got there it would be ready. That was not the case! I got there and waited another 30 minutes. Which was 50 minutes I waited all together for my food. The whole time I was waiting the counter girl keeps coming up to me asking about my order. What it was I wanted? I had to repeat what I wanted 3 times to her???? Then she said she was waiting on my wings. I saw them rolling out what looked like already cooked wings out of the freezer on trays uncovered. I finally got my food with no apologies what's so ever for the long wait. Then I get hit in the parking lot. Which could have been avoided if I got my food the time I was suppose to. The food was not good. The wings were try and tasteless and the pizza was not as good as remembered. I will not be returning. Oh and as I'm leaving I have to remind them about my dessert and the cake was DRY! Very expensive and not worth it. read more

Ok so I was a guest at the Holiday Inn Express and there is this room service menu that makes you think there is a kitchen somewhere in the hotel that will make these wonderful meals. Descriptions like "fresh baked bread" and "famous sauce," it all makes you get excited about dinner. Turns out it is a vendor called "orderinn" that partners with area restaurants/vendors to deliver the promised food. As it turns out, Pizza Classics is the restaurant that sources the food to the Holiday Inn Express. I got a pepperoni pizza on thin crust, a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, and spaghetti and meatballs. It was all good, not great, I would get it again. I liked how the bread was toasted on my sandwich, the ham was good. I wish I had been given more than a small pack of mustard for a 12-inch sandwich. read more

Horrible service! My office ordered over 100 in food online. The pizzas all came with only half toppings. When I called the person said the online system glitches and that I should have called in my order. So I was supposed to know this already? Then even with the glitch two pizzas were supposed to at least be all meat. None of the 4 pizzas came with all meat not even on half. I said I can take a picture, he said he made it what happened to the meat on the pizza when we left was not on him. I asked so you're saying I would pick off all the meat just to take a picture. Worst service ever. I don't recommend. read more

We ordered 4 large pizzas and wings. They got every pizza wrong. When my co worker called, the cook got on the phone accusing us of taking meat off a cheese pizza and that he didn't put tomatoes on another. They only offered a large pizza and we had to come pick it up today. They way they were so disrespectful on the phone was crazy to me. I will never eat at this place and don't recommend it to anybody except stray dogs. read more

Visiting San Antonio and my 5 year old wanted pizza. Hotel suggested this spot. They have a BOGO pizza deal for dining in or carry out but I wanted wings.. we got one pizza, 12 wings, a soda and 2 beers for $30. I dropped in after getting donuts at the art of the donut. I love my YELP family and I love my YELP health scores but my daughter and her friends from Trinity convinced me to go against the grain here. NEVER AGAIN. If you look at the health scores over the years, since they left Broadway at 100 they have declined into the 80's. Walking into the restaurant you might overlook the filth bc it is a pizza joint for college kids. You can not over look the sexual harassment of the male staff and the lack of GLOVES and full on horror show happening with the food. I read a perfectly written review for a Mac n cheese, bacon pizza. I'm not gonna lie we were pretty excited. After having a staffer blatantly hit on a child whom I asked and she was 13, I had to get out of there and walk her safely away. The kid wanted a slice and a drink. She got big boob jokes and an offer. You know who you are man and I reported you. So did her MOM. You are being watched. The owners have to know. The place is filthy, no gloves, phones on work stations. Going from the register with no gloves, to make food, without washing their hangs to make food. I get Covid makes some things harder. In town for a business trip. After being told by a few people that San Antonio wasn't known for good pizza, the guy at the front desk of our hotel told us about this place. We try to avoid chains when we travel, so we ordered for delivery. We ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and cheese breadsticks. Arrived in less time than was estimated for the delivery, the delivery guy was super friendly, and the food was hot when we got it. We were *not* expecting the cheese breadsticks to be the size of an actual pizza, it was huge, and they were fantastic. The pizza itself was a bit overpriced compared to home, but to be expected since we're in an actual city and not small town America. It was also well worth the price. Both the sauce and crust were amazing, and we would absolutely order from here again. Thank you!!! read more

So glad this place is open and pushing out pizza! They are only doing takeout and delivery at this time. Just phone in your order in advance, you'll get an order number, and when you pull up someone will come out to greet you. I appreciate how they suggested a "money-saving" option when ordering my pizzas; always looking out for the customer! I ordered the margarita pizza; only thing with this one is the use of dried basil versus fresh, but I can't front, this pizza is so flavorful. My husband is scarfing down his pepperoni and sausage as I type. Great friendly service as always! read more

There are many things I love about San Antonio. Dear companions of mine that live here and the food! But finding a good pizza place is always fun & challenging. I first tried Pizza Classics by accident. I was at my hotel downtown at about 1 AM hanging out in the lobby and a large pizza was being delivered to a guest. Guest paid for the pizza but the delivery driver could not contact the Guest so he offerd me and my party the large pizza. I accepted of course as we were all hungry after a night of fun. Pizza was very delicious and had fresh ingredients. I looked them up when I was in town again and this time I wanted to dine in at their location on St. Mary's off 281. The place was packed and had to wait for a table to become available after ordering my pizza. I had a pizza & 8 wing combo for $20. Not bad and the pizza did not disappoint. The wings were very good but very spicy. Next time I will get medium lol. Anyways the parking here can be challenging as it's really hard to find parking during peak times. Great place to bring a date as my someone special she enjoyed this place as much as I have. read more

Also had thei spicy salami pizza. I don't know where to start as it was friggin stupid delicious, a work of art really. To start, it's easily one of the best crusts I've had hands down: crunchy yet soft - I was amazed as i couldn't figure out how they did that without a wood oven. The crust had a great flavor too. Now for their toppings: spicy salami, hot honey, caramelized onion puree and ricotta. Man, this was such a great and unforgettable pizza. Want a pizza you'll always remember, get this one! Garlic knots - such a incredibly, tasty starter. Subtle garlic flavor on that butter bread, man, what a treat. And their marinara sauce was so good. We downed all this with a bottle of wine. We didn't fonish the bottle vefore our meal so we went inside to the bar and finished it there. We discovered they made carajillo and had one of those AND ordered tiramisu so the carajillo wouldn't be lonely. Both were pretty fantastic. The staff was super helpful and polite. They had really good insights into the dishes and ingredients as well as the wine list. Turns out, this was one of the best dinners I've had this year.

We were seated right away but it was about 15 mins before someone came to our table to greet us and provide water. Once we ordered the waiter was very attentive. She provided us a palette cleanser (the spoons) which tasted like a lemon spice. It was really nice but had a kick at the end. We also ordered the probiotic appetizer which was gut healthy fermented veg. I wasn't a big fan of it, but my friend loved it. We also ordered the cilantro coconut guacamole and corn tortillas. This was very interesting! I've never had fruit in my guacamole. I loved it. And the corn tortillas were fresh and homemade. Next, I ordered a saffron date golden milk. They offer this hot or chilled. I got the chilled version. This is to die for if I could drink this every day I would. It is very comforting and as you drinking it, you get this like warmth all over. The spices are very balanced and it comes with oat milk so it's creamy. For the meal I order the akaushi beef tacos. Which was Barbacoa over a cashew cream trust with fermented, cabbage, and cilantro. It also comes with a side of salsa. These tacos were very filling and delicious. The flavors pair up so well. I did add some of the gauc to it for a more creamer taste. Overall, the food experience was a 10 out of 10. I am gluten-free and the whole restaurant is 100% gluten-free! They have vegetarian options and from what I could see also dairy free. If you're trying to expand your taste buds, this is definitely a place to try. The only thing I didn't like was the chairs lol the edge of it was so uncomfortable because it was putting pressure into my legs my friend said the same thing with her chair.

Yesterday was especially disappointing. They only had a very small scoop of steak left and told me that if I waited for a fresh batch, they would give me the portion I paid extra for once it was ready. I agreed, even though I was already frustrated because this happens often. They rang up both my bowl and my boyfriend's order, then packed mine in a to-go container even though I said I was dining in. I sat and waited about 15 minutes for the steak, and my boyfriend eventually had to get up and ask for it. When they finally gave it to me, it still was not the extra portion I had paid for. While waiting, I also overheard the manager offering free food to a customer in line if she left a 5-star review, which felt unprofessional and misleading. To make things worse, when I started eating, the steak I had waited and paid extra for was burnt, dry, and like jerky. This was extremely disappointing. I love CAVA, which is why this is frustrating. I actively avoid this location because of repeated bad experiences, but it is the closest one to me. I've never had these issues at the Huebner location. I hope this location improves its food quality, service, and management.
