What a great pizza joint so close to campus and with plenty of parking. The service was great and food came out reasonably fast. We had a bogo medium deal with signature pizzas on a Saturday! Their menu is large with many options to choose from. In this visit we ordered a small cauliflower pepperoni pizza. It just so happened that they have a buy one get one free promotion so we got two small cauliflower pizzas. They both came crispy and tasteful! This review is by secret shopper that visited on 8/8/2026. I was told welcome when I entered into the area. It was a few customers seated so I approached the counter and placed my order and was told that their was a special so I opted to get the special. One of the customers did not receive their complete order and had to approached the counter on two different times about the order and when it was received they had to leave and not eat there. While sitting and waiting for my order that was placed at 5:28pm several large groups arrived and were seated and I was still waiting and one of the groups received their food while I was still waiting now mine you they arrived at least 15 min after me. I did take into consideration that they may have ordered ahead and arrived at the exact time it was coming out of the oven but my order was simple and could of been done within a certain time it looked as if they where pre made to order and stacked on a rack for the oven so When I finally received my order the pizza was barely warm and the chicken order was barley hot. It seem as if it was sitting on a counter somewhere waiting to be placed in a bag. The only reason I am scorning a three is because they did welcome me and told me about the specials. The best way to eat here is to order stay and eat not request it to go so you will be assured that your food will be hot. Not a good impression for a first time visitor. read more

I placed a pick up order as they're in the neighborhood and figured we'd give it a try. I was at the counter for about 3 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Then they decide to help another person that arrived before me. Finally I get help and the I hate making excuses for young adults but my goodness, you would've thought they went out to their garden for a farm to table experience putting together a small house salad. One of the best mom and pop pizza places in S.A. and is also popular with Trinity, UIW ,SAC students and tourists visiting the zoo nearby. You order 1 pizza and get a free one. Ordered online for delivery. I ordered a margarita pizza. The Pizza arrived and was not correct. They sent me a pizza with red sauce, artichokes, black olives, mushrooms, onions and more. It didn't look very good, otherwise I might have just kept it and ate it. I called and they said they could refund me. I asked if I could just get my pizza still, they said another hour for re-delivery. The delivery man, Raymond, was friendly and nicely returned multiple times, to pick up my incorrect pizza, and then again deliver me the correct one. When the correct pizza arrived, I noticed they did discount my bill without me having to ask, which I was a little surprised and also grateful to see. The bread was soft and covered in grated parm and inside was piping hot with melty cheese. I ordered some chicken wings and I typically go with medium spice, but the option was only spicy or regular. I probably should've gone regular, because these things were insanely hot. Like bright red, stain your fingers, make your mouth tingle hot. No regrets though lol.
