I ordered a steak and cheese grinder and after 20 plus years buying from here , seems like they changed the bread and the steak. Not impressed. Went from. 10 to a 6. read more

I just love to come back here time and time again. The cooks, the owner and Phan are the best. The steak and cheese with extra mushrooms, light cheese, toasted with mayo. Gosh I miss you Pizza Chef! read more

Cool spot, friendly staff. Huge menu. I would've liked to have tried some other items before leaving this review. Nice big open dining room. I forgot to add the cheese to my ziti, so it was pretty plain. Meatballs were burned. I'd add a pic of the mozz sticks but they weren't in the bag. I should've checked, but they weren't busy inside so I made the mistake of assuming my 2 items were included. read more

I was told the grinders are real good here. I ordered a large Italian grinder and a cheese burger grinder and a steak pepper and onion wrap. I'll get back to you on that. I'm currently sitting in the restaurant waiting patiently and am very hungry. The restaurant has plenty of seating if you desire eating in. The restaurant is clean and so far the experience is good with the customer service. I see a lot of takeout pizza being bought. Lol that's why they call This pizza chef. Okay the food came out with in fifteen minutes. Nice! Everything we ordered was spot on delicious. I will definitely come back and next time I will get some pizza lol. God Bless all my fellow foodies read more

Decided on a cheese steak grinder for dinner. My first Choice was closed so I gave Pizza Chef a try. I've had their pizza before but first time for a grinder. It wasn't bad. But it was missing some seasoning. I'd probably try meatballs next time or just stick with their pizza read more

Cheeseburger, my son said it was leathery and way overcooked. Two orders of spaghetti and meatballs are sitting in my fridge/trash tomorrow. My two daughters had a bite each and soured on the rest, I took a bite and it tasted disgusting. Like old sauce going bad. Sour tasting garbage. My wife got chicken wing dings. Lol!! I thought she got mini wings tossed into some French fries. We counted seven scrawny wing dings. Now onto the meat lovers calzone. Average at best. The most pathetic thing was the amount of meat inside, or lack of. I thought I was on candid camera!! Hardly any meat!!! Where's the standards?? Pizza chef, you got me for around $60. tonight. I have a big family and we work hard for our money. Shame on you and NEVER, NEVER again will you get my cash again!! Go elsewhere people. So many other and much better choices in the Bridge. read more

Pizza Chef - Hungry 6 and 7 year old girls tonight... :(( Disgusting spaghetti and mini meatball ready for trash day. - Italian Near Me - Southbridge, Massachusetts

I don't know why so many people like the pizza here. It is 50% grease it's disgusting. They make great salads, pretty decent sandwiches, but they can get greasy too and I've gotten sick. Orders have been screwed up too. I try not to go there. The cheese pizza gets a 3.1 out of 10. read more

Ate here a few times when we first moved to town. Only tried the pizza and found it to be on the greasy side. Did taste good though. As for the inside, couldn't tell you. I'm the king of take out/home delivery. I do drive by on a daily basis and it does look nice from the outside. read more

So I recently moved back to Southbridge and I remember central pizza being my favorite place but after a bad visit and bland food I decided to come to pizza chef and I've come back atleast 3 times since. I remember them being good back in the day but now they're my absolute favorite pizza place in town. Got hamburger pizza and it was loaded with hamburger, cheese and tasty sauce. It wasn't too greasy and the crust was perfect. Steak & cheese calzone is good but needs a little bit of salt. Boneless buffalo wing dinner is pretty much buffalo chicken tenders and they're very good. Fries are okay but the bacon and cheese fries are awesome and the size is enough for 4 people. Try it with sour cream. Good Italian sub but they don't put tomatoes so be sure to ask for them. The onion rings are also wicked good! Everything I've tried so far has been excellent just be careful on the weekends because the oil may be old and your food will have a bad burnt taste to it. Yuck! read more

This is my favorite place to get pizzas, grinders or even a great salad.Affordable fast and friendly. The pizza is delicious is definitely recommended. read more

This place has gone down hill and if I could give it zero I would got a pepperoni pizza delivered they must be short on cheese because it was hard to find any on pizza and it was over cooked. We have ordered from them for many years and they just don't care about putting out a good product anymore. We will NEVER order anything from them again read more

Pizza chef has poor customer service. I order there all the time. I never had a problem until today. I received the wrong food. My son was so upset, after taking a bite He would not eat until he calmed down. I asked for a credit. I explained my son took a bite out of his blt it had onion. He gets sick on onion. I was reprimanded for wanting store credit. He ate 1 bite. I can't believe how I was treated. Shame on pizza chef. They lost a frequent customer. Been ordering from them for 15 yrs smh read more

My family has been ordering from pizza chef since we moved to Southbridge many years ago. They were reliable for a long time, decent food in a decent amount of time. However in the past couple of years there's been a lot of issues. Constant mistakes on orders, taking over an hour to get to us when they would say only a 30 minute wait and also some really rude service when speaking to them on the phone. All in all, the food is okay but I would recommend going in to pick up your order to make sure it's correct and you get it in a reasonable amount of time. read more

Tried to order online for delivery. Order came to $26 and change and added $5 tip for driver. Website would take my address. I was to get a 10% discount for my online order. Called pizza chef to tell them the issue with their website. They were willing to take my order over the phone but refused the 10% discount. Not good business practice. They lost a $30 purchase over $2.65. Guess what, called Central Pizza and the food's on it's way. Pizza Chef will not get another order from us again. Deleted the app read more

So delicious...I've had subs, pizza and onion rings, all are so incredible. The onion rings were so sweet...the pizza crust was crispy...the subs were very, very tasty. This is a very casual/take-out place but so good for game food, if you're in a rush or just want something casual. read more

Best pizza place in town we always choose here for pizzas, chicken tenders, grinders, gyro, it's all good food and quality. They are a great restaurant, service is great, people are very friendly and prepare orders as asked. There is inside seating and also a side parking lot for parking as sometimes the parking in front of the restaurant is full. Overall this is a great pizza place and I would recommend it. read more

I've tried their grinders, salads, and pizza. Grinders and salads are fresh, stacked with fresh vegetables and deli meats. The pizza on the other hand was mediocre, perfectly seasoned sauce and the right amount of cheese but the crust has a cardboard texture. There are too many other decent pizza places in the area, don't waste your time at Pizza Chef. read more

In from out of town here for a conference. I ordered pizza for delivery. Three words...Soggy, cold, disgusting. This is by far the worst pizza I've ever had. The bottom of the pizza box was even soggy, the pizza was falling apart inedible, loaded with way too much cheese, the dough was chewy and pizza was barely warm. I would highly discourage anyone from going here. Sorry to the owners but you guys gotta do something about this product. Thanks read more

The only place I get my steak and cheese! Would be 5 stars but occasionally they put mushrooms in my grinder and then have to wait for a new one. Also my son is allergic to tomatoes and they occasionally put ketchup on his. Wings are good also. Pizza is typical. read more
