Cool spot, friendly staff. Huge menu. I would've liked to have tried some other items before leaving this review. Nice big open dining room. I forgot to add the cheese to my ziti, so it was pretty plain. Meatballs were burned. I'd add a pic of the mozz sticks but they weren't in the bag. I was told the grinders are real good here. I ordered a large Italian grinder and a cheese burger grinder and a steak pepper and onion wrap. I'll get back to you on that. I'm currently sitting in the restaurant waiting patiently and am very hungry. The restaurant has plenty of seating if you desire eating in. The restaurant is clean and so far the experience is good with the customer service. I see a lot of takeout pizza being bought. Lol that's why they call This pizza chef. Cheeseburger, my son said it was leathery and way overcooked. Two orders of spaghetti and meatballs are sitting in my fridge/trash tomorrow. Ate here a few times when we first moved to town. Only tried the pizza and found it to be on the greasy side. Did taste good though. As for the inside, couldn't tell you. I'm the king of take out/home delivery. I do drive by on a daily basis and it does look nice from the outside. read more

So I recently moved back to Southbridge and I remember central pizza being my favorite place but after a bad visit and bland food I decided to come to pizza chef and I've come back atleast 3 times since. I remember them being good back in the day but now they're my absolute favorite pizza place in town. Got hamburger pizza and it was loaded with hamburger, cheese and tasty sauce. It wasn't too greasy and the crust was perfect. Steak & cheese calzone is good but needs a little bit of salt. Boneless buffalo wing dinner is pretty much buffalo chicken tenders and they're very good. Fries are okay but the bacon and cheese fries are awesome and the size is enough for 4 people. Try it with sour cream. Good Italian sub but they don't put tomatoes so be sure to ask for them. The onion rings are also wicked good! Everything I've tried so far has been excellent just be careful on the weekends because the oil may be old and your food will have a bad burnt taste to it. Yuck! read more

Pizza chef has poor customer service. I order there all the time. I never had a problem until today. I received the wrong food. My son was so upset, after taking a bite He would not eat until he calmed down. I asked for a credit. I explained my son took a bite out of his blt it had onion. He gets sick on onion. My family has been ordering from pizza chef since we moved to Southbridge many years ago. They were reliable for a long time, decent food in a decent amount of time. However in the past couple of years there's been a lot of issues. Constant mistakes on orders, taking over an hour to get to us when they would say only a 30 minute wait and also some really rude service when speaking to them on the phone. All in all, the food is okay but I would recommend going in to pick up your order to make sure it's correct and you get it in a reasonable amount of time. read more

Called pizza chef to tell them the issue with their website. They were willing to take my order over the phone but refused the 10% discount. Not good business practice. In from out of town here for a conference. I ordered pizza for delivery. Three words...Soggy, cold, disgusting. This is by far the worst pizza I've ever had. The bottom of the pizza box was even soggy, the pizza was falling apart inedible, loaded with way too much cheese, the dough was chewy and pizza was barely warm. I've tried their grinders, salads, and pizza. Grinders and salads are fresh, stacked with fresh vegetables and deli meats. The pizza on the other hand was mediocre, perfectly seasoned sauce and the right amount of cheese but the crust has a cardboard texture.
