It's been light years since I have been to Pizza Chalet. I remember frequently eating from here when I worked down the street. Fast forward years later the family and I came in on a Friday night. First thing which was cool the Dodger game was on. Plenty of options on the menu to choose from. Ther are a lot of specials. One of them was t the Dodgers game special. Deals available during Dodgers games. We took advantage of the 75 cent wings. Wings are a must here. The wings are smoked combined with smoked flavor on top of the sauce you choose. Nice size wings too. The pizza was solid. The meal came with a salad bar plate. I can't pass on a salad bar. This bar may need some work. The items didn't seem chilled. It was good though. There is a bar area for those who are thirsty. Service was great didn't take too long for our order. Cameron bought this place several years back, updated the interior, exterior, and added outside seating for Covid. I love that he tried stay open for us as much as he could during that crazy time. Thank you! The pizza to me seems the same as it has always been, which is good old American pizza in the vein of Shakey's or Straw Hat. Just good ingredients prepared well. He has added a ton of barbecue, and although I haven't indulged in any because I'm not a big fan of barbecue, my friends that are say it is very good. I've gotten my students the carne asada fries, and they absolutely love them! They have Thrifty Ice Cream now which is great as the Riteaid at Grand and Badillo closed. Great news! The food here is always so good and the prices as well. We always get the Tri-tip fries, mozzarella sticks, and today I got a strawberry shake and the worker hooked it up for us!!! She did a like a strawberry mixed one by adding a scoop of chocolate ice cream and it tastes like a chocolate covered strawberry so good. Service was super great too and always is. read more

Only thing better than a good slice is.....well besides a great and in Chalet's case a tremendous slice. Only thing better is good old fashioned mouth watering bbq. And this place hits the mark in every aspect imaginable. They flippin' have COBBLER!!! You know how hard it is to find cobbler in these parts??? This place has so much and from what I've tried, beyond chef kissed scrumptious. What a spectacular find. Definitely plan on coming back. This place made my entire week. Thanks guys! Came in on a Tuesday evening to celebrate my sons baseball team end of the season party. The service was great, the front counter staff and cooks were all amazing despite how hectic it was. We ordered a party pack that included 3 pizzas, drinks, fries and a side order of wings. The kiddos enjoyed the pizza and fries. There's a small bar area towards the back of the establishment that helps separate the dining and bar area. You place your order in the front counter and your name is called for food pick up. There's is plenty of parking and limited outdoor seating. This is a good place for group celebrations. Large TVs are also located in the dining room area. read more

This place is really good. Today I had a lunch special with a personal pizza, side salad, and a drink. Everything was so good and I will make sure to go back because they have a large variety of food options to try. I have been here before about a year ago and remember what I had was also very good. Always a solid choice for wings! We love how their wings are smoked and smothered in yummy buffalo sauce. The pizza is good as well. They are very consistent and the service is always on point. We have been coming here for years and have tried so many items on the menu. The chili cheese fries and pizza fries are a must too!!! The chili has chunks of smoked brisket in it. Sooo delicious. Pizza wasn't great. They used tomato sauce underneath the cheese in our BBQ chicken pizza. Yuck. But their chipotle tritip fries were SO good and they fed two adults. I've had other of their food as well. I'd recommend but if ordering bbq chicken maybe ask what's under the cheese. I'm not sure if they just messed up on ours. Came here for my daughter's football pizza dinner. It was a Wednesday at 6:30, not too many people there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean and had a vast menu of bbq and pizza, plenty of appetizers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great beer tap selection and a couple of wines. They were playing basketball games. We ordered pepperoni pizza, tri tip fries, cheeseburger combo and pastrami pizza. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! The tri tip was tender and had a great slightly Smokey flavor. The servers taking orders were nice. But William the manager was OUTSTANDING! There was a small misunderstanding with the gal taking my order but William was amazing!! The most attentive customer service oriented manager I have come across in quite some time! He's a tremendous asset to this company and because of his fantastic dedication to stellar service and the restaurant's surprising menu assortment, we will definitely be back soon read more

Empty dining room because the owner reserved this area. Meanwhile 8 people are huddled around a four top bar table. People want to patronize this establishment, but simple can't. What the managers don't know is how many people walked in then out when they realized there would be no place to sit and eat. It would be worth it If the food was good; it's just not. The bbq meats are always gray and taste frozen then thawed out. The pizza is terrible. They don't know how to do an adequate Caesar salad. I tried. I give up with this place. It's good only for beer at the tiny bar and that's it. Good luck. One star for the gentleman that took our order. read more

You lose a star because you charge a dollar to use a credit card/ debit card. You.lost another becuase she tried to just slip it in The cashier didnt even say anything just charged us extra and explained, when I asked why the total was.more than she had said 20 seconds before. The food is still really food good the prices are already on the high side the extra dollar will keep us away. I hope management seriously rethinks how they staff their busiest shifts, because both the employees and customers deserve better. as a business owner, you can tell that the owners are cheap and want to spend as less as possible. That's extortion!

Because we were able to very easily pick up our wings and eat them no problem. They were barely warm. I'm not sure if I would be back again just because they seem so short staffed and they don't seem like they communicate very well with each other. But I did enjoy the overall experience.

Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. There's a good selection of beers on-tap and in bottle, and of course you can get shots and simple cocktails, but they didn't have the ingredients to make an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. No food is served, but they do sell bags of Twisted Pig pretzels ($4), which are available in spicy, medium, and original flavors. They're some of the best bagged pretzels we've ever had. Overall, it's a fun neighborhood bar with friendly service, lots of space to gather, hang out, and things to keep you busy. We'll be back.

Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.

When we declined having the steak re-fired or free dessert, we finished our wine and asked for the check. The $62 inedible steak was still on the bill, so I asked to speak with the owner. When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression. Lincoln House missed the mark completely. We will not be returning.

Nothing was addressed. I have been a long time customer since it was Mariposa's Restaurant owned by Laura on Restaurant Row and here, on Rowland. I've held my tongue for a long time. Love coming here for many reasons. I love being there amongst my well receptive crowd of loving friends. Genuine kindness and customer service is important. I find it unfair to ban me for stating how I feel. Well deserved four to five stars for the chef, the karaoke hosts, the former server who was fired. I believe Heriberto/aka Eric/Heri was friendly, fun, efficient and well received. As a former schoolteacher and humanitarian, I believe in fairness, kindness and addressing rude people with hope that their actions do not affect others. Sadly, some do not like to be called out. Camila and Mauricio made a grave decision. Rather than improve on their behalf, they'd rather retaliate with vengeance. I hope that you heal and are careful with your future actions, Camila and Mauricio. By the way, several bar stools have sharp metal sticking way out. Someone can be hurt. I told staff last week, April 25, 2026. The protruding steel and stools are not safe.

Very disappointed with this place. Decided to give it another go with the new owners and am very disgusted and let down. As my children and I are trying to enjoy the same old overly priced canned sauced semi decent pizza, we witness the new owner disrespect and verbally abuse one of his vendors. It has to make you think, if this man has the ability and tenacity to dish out the amounts of profanities, while his employees and patrons witness his verbal bashing and bullying, how much of that negativity is going into his establishment. If you have children, not worth the attempt of walking through the door and possible encounter. Not worth the one star. I can however thank you for the opportunity to explain to my children what a bully looks like and how to respond to them. So, thank you for the advancement in their maturity on how not to act. This place is the best. Our family comes here for all our birthdays and we've known the owner for years. He's a super nice guy. If you come on the weekends, yea you'll get the sports/kids crowd. But weeknights are great for dinner with not a lot of ppl. If your edged cuz of "the crowd" then quit wheezing on the grindage. Go wheeze some grindage somewhere else. Not only is this the best pizza in town, the sandwiches are Also big and so fresh. the sandwich special includes a salad n drink for $16.00. so worth it. add a glass.of wine for 7.36. and your good. love to visit aprox once a month. I eat at the bar area, since im usually alone. I always take 1/2 sandwiche home. (2MEALS IN 1 !) SHOUT OUT to Anna's Pizza for keeping the food great, ambience and atmosphere casual, with 4 TVs for watching sports. I consider sides it a cool hang out

I finally stated facts about Camila, and she stung me by banning me. I was yelled at and my integrity questioned when accused of not paying a bill on the 4th of July. I did, in fact pay my $30 meal with two twenties. Camila told me, "You no pay your 40 dollars! I no serve you!" Oh, how and why she said forty when that was what I exactly left. I was not to be served. I asked her to review the tape from camera because it would have proven her doubt. Yes, I paid it, TWICE because I love being there. Never have I been unkind nor disrespectful toward the people at the restaurant. I have hosted so many parties, encouraged many to get up and sing, dance and join the fun. Many Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays were busy due to the hundreds of friends I brought and introduced to this place. Oh, so now I am banned from your establishment because I told and wrote truth...facts that other people have also experienced regarding Camila's poor manners. I expressed thee injustice in an email. Nothing was addressed. I have been a long time customer since it was Mariposa's Restaurant owned by Laura on Restaurant Row and here, on Rowland. I've held my tongue for a long time. Love coming here for many reasons. I love being there amongst my well receptive crowd of loving friends. Genuine kindness and customer service is important. I find it unfair to ban me for stating how I feel. Well deserved four to five stars for the chef, the karaoke hosts, the former server who was fired. I believe Heriberto/aka Eric/Heri was friendly, fun, efficient and well received. As a former schoolteacher and humanitarian, I believe in fairness, kindness and addressing rude people with hope that their actions do not affect others. Sadly, some do not like to be called out. Camila and Mauricio made a grave decision. Rather than improve on their behalf, they'd rather retaliate with vengeance. I hope that you heal and are careful with your future actions, Camila and Mauricio. By the way, several bar stools have sharp metal sticking way out. Someone can be hurt. I told staff last week, April 25, 2026. The protruding steel and stools are not safe.

The cheese was not burned and the pepperonis were perfect.. Rami got down on the pizza. I only thought that he worked the counter. Turns out dude knows how to make a good pie as well. Next time I will add more toppings as the pepperoni was just for my daughters today. I will continue to ask for all my future pizza extra crispy from now on. Thanks again, Rami.
