What's all this buzz about a tandoori chicken pizza?? I've been burned before when it comes to fusion foods. Some things should not be transformed from its original, wonderful state #leavethephoalone. But, ever the curious and adventurous person that I am, let's try it shall we?! Actually, I didn't try the tandoori chicken pizza on my first visit to Pizza Buzz. I was picking up pizza to watch the game (Go JJ!) with my friend who is a vegetarian. I opted for the paneer tikka pizza but was still a bit weary. They do have an option for a 10" size, which is awesome by the way, but still, what if I didn't like it? So my backup was the Bianca pizza since I like alfredo sauce based pizzas and the ricotta sounded delicious. They were both great choices! The paneer tikka pizza had such a nice flavor. The tikka sauce was flavorful but not overpowering. There was a good amount of paneer and red onions, and the mint chutney drizzle and cilantro were both refreshing. The Bianca pizza was just as good. It had spinach and little cherry tomatoes on it. I am not a meat lovers pizza kinda person. I like veggies in my pizza and so I enjoyed the balance of the richness of the ricotta and the freshness of the veggies...and fruit? I wanted to wait until a second visit before leaving a review. I finally went back to try the tandoori chicken pizza...a whole 3 days later. It was on my mind. I knew I would love it; I just needed the confirmation. And indeed I did! It had the same tikka sauce base along with the mint chutney drizzle, red onions, and cilantro with tandoori chicken instead of paneer. Again, good amount of chicken that was tasty and not dry. I liked the simplicity of the toppings, just enough to achieve the taste without being over the top. I really enjoyed the taste and texture of the crust! It had a nice chew to it with a crispy exterior. It was the perfect base for all three pizzas that I tried. The prices are higher than your pizza chains but not unreasonable considering they have unique and gourmet style pizzas. Their website offers the option to place and customize your order as well as pay online. They even have a rewards program where you earn points to redeem for a free pizza. The staff seemed friendly though I haven't had much interaction with them. Both times I ordered and paid online so I walked in and out. Reading other reviews, the owner Jay and his wife seem like really nice people. I have yet to try their more traditional style pizzas, but I am confident that they will not disappoint. The tandoori chicken pizza was a hit in my book. I am definitely a fan of this particular fusion and I love supporting local businesses! Definitely recommend this place! read more

We just moved to the area and we have found our go to pizza place! The first time we went the young lady at the front was very patient while we explored the menu. She even let me taste the tandoori chicken to see if my pasty white self could handle the heat. (I could lol. It was spicy, but with the cheese and the tamarind drizzle, the spice was perfectly balanced). We also got the Detroit style pepperoni. I loved it! I thought the dough was chewy and seasoned. The pepperoni they use is sooo good. We just went again tonight and they recognized us and asked how it was last time. Delicious! Obviously! This time we got the tandoori chicken again (seriously get this. Unique and so tasty) and a hand tossed half veggie half pepperoni. The veggies were fresh, sauce to cheese ratio is perfect. The pizza was ready right on time! We ordered on Sunday around 530 pm and the estimated time was spot on. They even gave a call when it was ready! We of course had to try the pickle pizza and it was amazing! The thin crust was a little crunchy for me but the regular crust was one of the best crust I've ever tried. This place is amazing!! We got 10" pizzas to try the flavors. We tried the Pastor, Rev's Buzz, and Bianca. All of them were delicious! The pastor really tastes like Al Pastor! They even serve little limes on the side. Very delicious Rev's Buzz WILL be on our regular rotation. Honey on top of pepp&jalapeno, who knew?! genius. The sweet really goes so well, I wish there was a tiny bit more honey actually. The Bianca was somewhat unremarkable. It was much more "regular" compared to the other pizzas. It was mostly a cheese pizza, I felt like it could've used more tomato and basil. I probably wouldn't order it again because it wasn't amazing, just normal. The crust on all 3 was amazing! We just moved into the area and have been searching for a good mom-and-pop pizza place with a great bubbly crust. We have tried about 9 other places and haven't been impressed by any of them. We found Pizza Buzz by looking through photos and hoping that a combination of enticing images and good ratings would work well, well this time it paid off. Pizza Buzz hit the mark for us and was so good in every way. Their pizza was flavorful, their dough was amazing ( buttery with a hint of garlic), and overall just delicious. We are excited to try their other unique combos in the future. I must admit I was a little thrown off by a pizza place that doesn't offer delivery, salads, or other pretty standard services/items, but it really doesn't matter. I've been here a total of 3 times with my favorites being the Chicken Tandoori and the Pickle. The Cheesy Garlic Knots are also amazing if you love cheese and garlic. Jay, one of the owners/pizzaiolos, is obsessed with pizza and it clearly shows in the end product. We had a good chat about the level of commitment it takes to make a good pie. His creativity with integrating flavors is out of this world. Come in and try some of the best pizza in the country! Don't take my word for it, this little unassuming locally owned/operated pizza joint is legit, just receiving both Silver and Bronze in the only 2 eligible categories in the largest national pizza creating competition edging out 80+ competitors. It's a 30 minute drive for me and I pass a few dozen pizza shops along the way (including all of Fort Worth), but it's worth it. This was my first time ordering from Pizza Buzz. I'd heard great things and was hoping to find a new pizza place, and I have found it! I ordered a 10" thin crust Meaty, garlic knots, and Cajun boneless wings. The owner took the time to speak with me when I arrived and asked my interests in branching out into other flavors (non-traditional). He gave me a sample of the Tandoori chicken to try as well. The Meaty pizza was fantastic, fresh ingredients and lots of flavor without being overpowered by the sauce. The boneless wings were good and so were the garlic knots (which I dipped in the Tandoori sauce). However, the Tandoori chicken sample blew me away! Yummy specialty pizzas, unique and different. Warning: pizza is delicious but the Elote & Tandoori pizzas are QUITE spicy. I'd asked a few people and was told they weren't that spicy. They're definitely spicy if you've got a sensitive palette. I believe the Elote pizza would far less spicy if you held off the sauce they drizzle over it. And it was a DELICIOUS pizza, just a tad too spicy for me. The tandoori was simply too spicy for me to enjoy- but my husband enjoyed it. We didn't get any traditional pizzas because the price seems a little high for me to just get a plain cheese, but we'll definitely be back to try another specialty pizza. read more
