I'm not sure if they used an old pizza box, or what happened, but the first thing I noticed was that my slice was stuck to the box.. when I looked under the slice there was dried cheese with jalapeño and mushroom - 2 toppings I did not order. The order was wrong and the food was below average. This is the second delivery order that was a bust. I've been a long time customer of this location. Over the past year, the quality of the food has taken a big hit. Examples: Bacon, cheese fantastic fries - menu description was pizza cheese, delivered order has a bland cheese 'sauce'. The Vegilicious pizza was ordered with a hand thrown crust. It was delivered with a thin crust. Cookie Pie - delivered as a pale, tough 'cookie' stuck to the plate and square cut rather than wedge cut. It was tasteless. The bottom line is that this that quality of the food from this location is declining. I cannot recommend this location. read more

I just ordered a pizza, they lied and said it was sent out, then the send it was going to be sent out, then I got cold pizza, then the didn't want to return my money, so they sent me another pizza, after 30 min I called back again they said Pizza was on the way. I placed an order online, but the ordering system was not working properly--it kept refreshing and didn't process my order correctly. As a result, they delivered a pizza that I did not order. I informed the manager about the mistake, but they were dismissive and unhelpful, essentially saying "oh well." We were left with a pizza we didn't want. I've been ordering from Laurel's Pizza Boli's for a few years now largely due to its convenience. It's not the best pizza, it's not the best anything to be honest. But it's convenient, stays open late, has its own delivery drivers, and the quality has largely been decent enough to keep ordering. However, it does have quite a number of issues you should be aware of, some which may make me never order from them again. Something like 90% or more of my orders have had at least something wrong about them, whether it's that they gave me fat-free Italian dressing packets instead of the regular Italian/House dressing (almost every time I've ordered a salad from them which is every time I've ordered from them) or left out the garlic butter sauces that I've ordered with pizzas, or other less common errors like leaving out a topping on a sub or a missing appetizer. I understand making some mistakes, especially since 2020 brought the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting workloads for restaurant workers have likely gone up dramatically at most restaurants. But the recent move of the Laurel Boli's has just made the restaurant a lot worse from everything I've experienced. Tonight I ordered two subs and a Greek salad. Now the salad is one I've been getting for years due to my love of feta cheese, Kalamata olives, and a variety of vegetables. On the Pizza Boli's website, the Greek Salad is described as "Mixed lettuce, green pepper, tomato wedges, red onion, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, banana peppers, feta cheese, Served w/ a side of house dressing." This salad used to come with a good number of different vegetables like in the picture on Boli's website and used a fair bit of romaine lettuce and grape tomatoes. Since the Laurel Boli's moved locations, what I've gotten in the Greek salad was limp iceberg lettuce (in huge pieces) with no other type of lettuce in sight, zero green pepper, tomato slices, red onion, the smallest amount of tiny cucumber slices, regular black olives (almost zero flavor compared to the beautiful taste of Kalamata olives), pepperoncini, and feta cheese. The first time I thought it was a fluke. But again I've ordered it from them and got the same sad, limp, lacking salad. But hey, at least they didn't give me more packets of fat-free Italian dressing this time. The subs also had issues. First off, the bread for the subs has definitely gotten smaller which isn't the primary issue for me but I definitely have noticed it. My partner's chicken filet sub tonight was supposed to have lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, pickles, mayo, and mozzarella on it. What we got instead was completely missing the lettuce and tomatoes, had a few sad pickles, the mozzarella, mayo, and the tiniest amount of hot pepper spread I've ever seen. Strangely enough my own personal sub got the tomato I requested and generally had the right toppings but just not very much of them compared to in the past, including very small amounts of banana peppers and green peppers that I paid extra for. It's a pretty disappointing change from the past. It really seems like Laurel's Pizza Boli's has recently decided to use worse ingredients while advertising better ones and charging the same amount at this point. If you're going to cheap out on ingredients, customers will notice. And if you're giving way less toppings for the same price that you charged a couple months ago, we will also notice. Laurel's Pizza Boli's is not reliable, it is not particularly good, and if you have any problems well, good luck to you. I'm tired of having to report missing items to Boli's only for the same problems to happen again and again. read more

As a business owner believe me I rate negatively with hesitation. But this place will bring the worst out of anyone. I wish there was a way to rate with muktiple negative stars. Called the store, put on hold for 10mins, hung up, called back. I have ordered pizza from them over the years and was never disappointed. I was in the mood for Chicken Alfredo and laziness won. I looked on line to see the menu and saw that the chicken broccoli and shrimp was $10.99 and I thought hmm... Anyway I called and placed an order for delivery of shrimp and chicken alfredo add broccoli to the chicken. The lovely voice on the other end said $35!!! Are we padding pockets here I thought. She ran down the list of fees and charges. I took her I'd pick it up but on line the price was $10.99. It was honored but she charged me 2.00 for broccoli. You know that ain't right!! Anywho, I get home and open it up and it is enough for one person or two small meals. It looked and smelled great. The chicken and brocoli had a vey nice taste as well as the shrimp. The shrimp were salad shrimp, but a lot! The pasta was cheesy and saucy like I like it and the garlic bread is garlicy...like I like it! The place is OLD. We were two hours from home, two hours past lunch time, our debit card was stolen or misplaced, and we only had enough cash for gas. My children were threatening revolt if not fed quickly so I used my PayPal app to order from the Laurel Pizza Boli's so I could pay with PayPal funds. When I arrived, I saw that the very same pizzas I paid $35.75 were available for pick up for $10 each, which would have been $20. When my husband went in he referenced the sign and Pick Up price. The less than polite man grumbled that we paid the internet price because we ordered online. Resigned to being ripped off my husband picked the pizzas up and started to walk out only to have the man say, "You owe me $35.75." With a raised eyebrow my husband reminded him that we paid the internet price on the internet. The first pizza, cheese, was Ok. The second would have been ok had we ordered another cheese. However, we ordered a pepperoni. My poor husband went back into the lion's den where the man scattered pepperoni over our already slightly over cooked cheese pizza and sent it through the oven briefly giving us cheese pizza with pepperoni essence as each slice of pepperoni fell to our laps as we tried to eat it. Some good did result from this experience, I downloaded the Yelp app merely to leave this review. I normally order pizza hut but I wanted to try something new. We always order from pizza bolis when I am at work not once have I been disappointed. Today was that day everything online was user friendly until the driver arrived. So online they have a slot to add tips. My meal was 20.00 I added a nice tip. When the driver arrived he tried to insult my intelligence stating tips not included. Lets see you get 1.50 for driving .94miles Mr. So I have him 30.00......I will not be ordering from them again ever. I mean I understand you have to make a living but geesh trying to get over won't fly.I felt like contacting management but I just won't waste my time with them again. This place has the absolute best pizza. The toppings are plentiful but not overwhelming, the sauce is tasty but not to drippy, plenty of cheese to hold it together, and the hand tossed crust is delicious. I use the 'Slice' app on my smart phone to order my pizza. It conveniently remembers my orders, and I haven't had a single mistake in delivery in all six or seven times I've ordered from here. We also get the boneless 10 count wings with the Asian zing sauce. A tasty treat to go along with pizza. They also have a wide variety of subs and salads, which I haven't personally tasted, but based off the wings and pizza the other stuff is probably good too. The app always estimates a delivery time. They have always shown up before that time. To be fair I only live about 15 blocks away from the store. They are always prompt though. I will always get my pizza from Pizza Boli's! read more

We like the ease and convenience of ordering online but we decided to try Pizza Boli's because they had a promotion. We ordered 1 hour and 15 minutes ago, and still haven't received our food. But traffic happens, etc. I get that. What was unacceptable was the load of attitude I got from the manager when I called, NO offer to discount the order due to the wait, whining about how things are always late on Fridays and when it's raining, etc. What's the old saying? You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I was given to understand the purpose of promotions like this was to GAIN new customers. We ordered at 5:53 pm.....a stromboli, boneless wings and some cheese fries. The order came an hour later and the wings were NOT boneless, and the cheese in the stromboli wasn't even melted. So, I called back, and we were told that the boneless wings would be on their way. An hour later, we called back to the store and were told they were on the way. 15 minutes later, they finally arrived. It took 2:15 minutes to get the CORRECT order. UGH. We are NOT happy at all. I called the store, told them what I found, was put on a long hold and then told me that he looked at his other pies and they are all fine so there is nothing wrong with mine. I asked for a refund, he yelled at me and told me that his driver will come, look at the pies and may give me a refund. I asked to get the number of his regional manager and he told me that he is not giving it to me and he is not giving me a refund, for me to call eat24 and have them issue it. When they get an order right, the food is pretty good. But they rarely get an order right, even from their website. Also, any kind of modification you ask for, unless it's in their computer, they tell you is impossible. Want cucumbers on a veggie sub? Can't do it, it's not in the computer. Of course the cucumbers are available on their salads, but since the computer won't give an option to put it on a sub...well, how dare you ask? Also, did I mention that their orders are very rarely accurate? Their consistency is also very spotty. Boneless wings one week look nothing like boneless wings two weeks (or even two days) later. Avoid if you can. I've ordered probably 20 times over the last 2 years because the other pizza places in Laurel are even worse, so I can't offer a better solution. read more

We used to order from our local Pizza Boli's in D.C. all the time, but I should've checked Yelp first before trying the Laurel location. Their pasta was horrible--a smaller portion than the D.C. Boli's, with no cheese, and the sauce was bland with a weird consistency. And instead of carrot cake, they sent us chocolate cake; only when I called them did the man on the phone inform me that they were out of carrot cake altogether, and he rudely barked at me to call tomorrow and they would send some to me.
