Great wood fired pizza. Pizza Bianca is delicious. Chewy crust, not too heavy. Good sauce to cheese ratio. Just solid pizza.

The best pizza in Midland and it's not even close! When Pizza Baker opened and I tried it for the first time, I was so happy that it wasn't just another mediocre or bad addition to Midland's lacking lineup. Since then, I'm happy to say that every time I've visited subsequently it has also been very good and I have not been disappointed yet. Some of my favorite pizzas are their classic pepperoni, the margheroni, bacon garlic, the heat wave, and the mediterranean. They also have occasional limited specials that are usually worth a try. The salads are also always fresh and their homemade dressing is good. The service is great and can be really quick if you aren't going at a busy time. The only thing I can see as a possible con is the price, with it being ~$10-$15 for a pizza that is a bit larger than a personal pie. I don't eat out very frequently, so this is not a problem for me as I'm fine with spending a bit more when I do. I'd say you get what you pay for though, as the toppings are not sparse and it tastes great! read more

Would definitely recommend this pizza. Ingredients are fresh, delicious cheese, fresh crust, reasonable price and very friendly, fast service. There is indoor seating but it's a bonus if you can eat outside in their beautiful downtown. read more

Came here while on a business trip to Midland. It was raining and I ducked in with a colleague to grab a quick bite before a meeting. The menu is small--all pizza, although the owner said they would soon be serving salads. But that really didn't matter, cause the pizza was tasty, quick and the service was super friendly. Crispy crust but also a good amount of chewiness. Wasn't expecting such a great pie in Midland! I didn't get a chance to take a picture because we devoured our pizzas in record time. Best thin-crust pizza in the tricity area! The pizza is delicious! We got two pizzas for 2 adults and a kid and everything was great from the crust, to the toppings and the sauce. Though you might find prices a bit higher than average pizza places, it's definitely worth it. Love that's it's a family-owned small business. My girlfriend and I came in for our anniversary to enjoy a nice slice of pizza. Unfortunately it was all but that. We ordered our pizzas and asked if they had Ranch we could also purchase as a side condiment. The owner replied "it doesn't need ranch." I soon realized that his statement was false. So I did as any problem solver would and walked a few blocks over to a more superior pizza restaurant Pizza Sam's and ordered a single ranch cup for 75 cents. I walked back to pizza baker and was sitting for no longer than 30 seconds when the owner came up to our table and told us that he could not "serve outside food" which I could understand if I brought a whole other pizza in but it was just a simple ranch cup. He asked us to leave and we did. The pizza was probably a 6/10 and nowhere near the standard that it would have to be for an owner to be so rude. Just serve ranch, would have totally avoided this issue. This business definitely lost a future customer. read more

If I could give all the stars in the universe to this place, I would. Every time I come up to midland to visit my girlfriends family we come here to eat and it's always beyond fantastic. Today was no different! The use sourdough crust that's house made for the pizzas and it's unlike anything I've had since I left California. The garlic bread is equally as fantastic and I would assume they make the bread themselves as well. I would trade all the pizza places in east lansing for a pizza baker location. They have a mobile pizza truck and have now opened a sit down restaurant. The wood fired pizza oven helps make the crust crispy yet chewy and so delicious! We had the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and it was fantastic. Pizza comes in a 10 inch so you can easily order several types and share. I grew up in Chicago and I think this pizza easily rivals any there (gasp!). I love this pizza. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place. read more

Pizza was wonderful! Best we've had in town. Only reason I gave it a 4 was choices are limited. Can drinks no beer/liquor. Restaurant was clean. Owner and son were very attentive.
