Ordered a Chicago style and regular thin crust pizza. The Chicago style pizza looked quite appetizing and had the right heft to a slice. But the sauce is way too sweet and I think it's oily so it seeps into the cheese, making the cheese soggy. Would not order again. Also could not order half topping on a Chicago style. What's up with that??? The small thin crust pizza was better but the crust was still too thick for my taste. read more

Ordered large calzone. It was massive and flavorful with mushrooms, spinach and meatballs.

I don't normally write reviews, but this experience was so terrible I have to do this in order to save others. The service was awful. The guy on the phone laughed at me, barely spoke up, and was all around rude. I couldn't hear him well and get nervous when on the phone. But the pizza...woooooah, it was doughy, unseasoned, and lukewarm. We at least got to eat the toppings off, which were mediocre at best. Do not recommend. read more

They charged me $5.00 for two slices and no drink! When I asked about their advertised special on the sign outside and said that was false advertising and they should remove it they said that was Pepsi who had to take it down and that it was an old sign. I asked why did they charge me the week before only $4.00 for two slices and no drink and I was then told they had computer problems for several days and that it was an error of the computers. This was the manager who told me this and was very rude and defensive instead of just offering to make it right and apologize. I won't be back again. Both times were at noon and they were never busy in there despite being across the street from the high school. That should have been a red flag but I thought I would give them a chance. Save your money and go to Dominos or Hungry Howies for better pizza and service!!! read more

VERY GOOD PIZZA!!! I am right in the middle of eating this delicious pizza and decided to take a break and write a review. This is the first time I have tried Pizza Dude and it is Delicious! I ordered a Detroit style small pizza with pepperoni and banana peppers. The crust is awesome. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There is a lot of cheese on It so you wouldn't need to order extra cheese. I also ordered the bread ring because I had read some reviews that it was good as well...and it is!!! Soft bread that you can dip into a variety of sauces. I typically like Jets Pizza because I like their thick crust. This crust might be slightly better...gasp!...This place is definitely a keeper and I can't believe it took me so long to finally try it. read more

This pizza is amazing! If you're familiar with lazy dog pizza in Frankenmuth, I'd compare it to that taste wise and price. The Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms & spinach is an amazing combination and my bf & I get it every time! They also offer some pretty good ranch. read more

OK... I'm from Chicago at this point in my life so pizza in Chicago is fiercely competitive. That said, my parents, who are fans of jet's Pizza enjoy the Detroit style. I think it's OK. I don't like jets. My parents said it was the best pizza in all of Midland and I can confidently agree with that assessment. That said, the cheese was triple the amount that you get on any other pizza so don't order extra and 1 to 2 slices totally filled this 185 pound adult man. In all honesty no other pizza place comes close to Pizza Dude. So the story, I live really close to pizza dude, like across a small street. I had a really bad morning one time and my mother (who had already eaten there before) said lets have pizza. Being all up for that we ordered a large blt pizza, I went and got the hot fresh pizza and brought it home, boy was I in for a treat. First of all, the toppings were fresh and had a wonderful taste to them. The crust was flavorful and just out of this world, something everyone should try. Decided to try this place out since it just opened. I ordered a medium pizza with ham and half and half veggies. Some of the green pepper pieces were bigger than I would have liked. The best part was their bread ring and pizza crust- crispy on the outside and chewy inside! It seemed a little expensive- $21 for a medium pizza with 4 toppings and a small bread ring, but the quality was worth it! read more

Had a little trouble finding it because there isn't a physical sign above or near the doors. However I am very glad I took the time to look. I ordered a large cheese pizza with pepperoni, fresh mushrooms and banana peppers. The brick oven baking made the crust crispy and chewy at the same time. Perfect!!! Ordered a deep dish square pizza, a round veggie pizza and a salad. Overall really enjoyed the pizza. I really enjoyed the crust on both pies. Great job on the dough! The salad was very large and full of veggies and fresh lettuce. I did have takeout and did not go inside to see the establishment but will next time I order! I was a little disappointed. My pizza came and a lot of the cheese had slid off one side. I'm guessing it wasn't level In the delivery car. The pizza itself tastes good but the ranch isn't good and the cup I paid for is only 1/2 full. I'll probably give them another try before I write them off all together. read more

Gave it a 3rd try...I'm out. The chicken strips aren't too bad. The fries have never been edible.. always very soggy and cold. Tried the cheeseburger grinder for the first time today. Threw out 3/4 of it, a sloppy mess with more toppings than meat. I'd like to try the pizza, but I'm afraid of wasting more money there. read more

I just spent over $30 (including too) on a pizza for my grandkids and me. This is by FAR the worst pizza I have EVER had! Crust was like burned shoe leather. The grands simply wouldn't even eat it! I TRIED to eat a piece...we ended up throwing it away. read more
