They have a variety of flavors and you pay by weight so you can control the portion sizes. We got the graple almond gorgonzola, peach and nectarine, and sausage and potato. Grape Almond Gorgonzola- This was my favorite! The gorgonzola is rich and savory. The almonds add a nice crunch. When you bite into a grape you get a burst of juicy sweetness! The flavors are wonderful together. Peach and Nectarine- The peach and nectarines are sweet and juicy. The cheese is creamy with a hint of saltiness. Quite a refreshing dish! Sausage and Potato- The potato slices are crispy which provide a contrast to the chewy dough. The sausage is savory and goes well with the cheese. Lots of flavor and texture. Such a great place for pizza!

The concept is simple: pizza by the slice, sold by weight, with a constantly changing selection of toppings. What stood out to me was how light and crisp the crust was. Even after sampling a few different slices, I didn't feel weighed down. My favorite was topped with mortadella, stracciatella, and crushed pistachios. It sounded a little unusual at first, but the combination was absolutely delicious. The creamy cheese, salty mortadella, and crunch from the pistachios worked perfectly together. Service was fast despite the steady crowd, and the staff kept the line moving efficiently. Seating is limited and the atmosphere is busy, but that's part of the experience. This is the kind of place where you grab a tray, point at whatever looks good, and enjoy some excellent Roman pizza. If you're looking for a quick, affordable, and delicious meal while exploring Rome, Alice Pizza is an easy recommendation.

Location is excellent and it's good for what it is - a simple, quick meal. The shop is very small and just has 2-3 bar seats inside, and there are multiple locations in the city. Price leans towards inexpensive, and the pizza itself is not bad. We ordered the prosciutto pizza and the smoked salmon pizza. The smoked salmon one wasn't heated up much due to the salmon being raw, but the salmon slices were thick, toppings were generous, and the flavours meshed well together. The prosciutto was similarly delicious. I visited a couple more pizza shops throughout the rest of my trip and saw more variety at Alice pizza than other local mom and pop shops. Like all similar pizza by weight locations, pizza flavours aren't labelled but that did not deter us from the good old guesstimate method. The staff were kind and patient while we tried to figure out what to order.

Interestingly, not once did I feel old, or was I treated any differently because of my age, during ten days in Rome. That does not happen in the United States. La Pratolina serves an Ancient Rome inspired pizza called Pinsa. It's hand-stretched into an oval shape, using a mix of soy, rice, and wheat flour with a high water content, resulting in a crust that is very light, airy inside, and crispy on the outside. We found our two pizzas unique and delicious. Packed at 10:30 at night, the staff had to be efficient and ran around, working hard, serving people in the several rooms and outside. They didn't have time to gab until close to closing, and then our female server was very charming answering my questions with aplomb. La Pratolina has great pizza and reasonable prices. It's as authentic as anything you'll find in Italy. I love Prati, and La Pratolina represents its hood well.
