The pizza here was not my favorite. Working in the hospitality industry the staff could use a few etiquette classes. The restaurant has a pretty large seating section inside and an arcade for kids to play in. A better review would've been written but I just can't get past the young ill mannered waitress. Not sure if it was a bad day for her but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I most likely will not return if traveling in the area again. read more

What a strange restaurant in a very strange town. Come here with a sense of humor/horror, it's like something from a David Lynch movie or No country for old men. The back room was full of young families and young people in general, murdering music on the karaoke machine. Song after song, their screeching was never-ending. The front room looked like some kind of clone convention, every single guy and I'm not exaggerating, every man, had a goatee/beard, a trucker cap on, a carhart jacket or shirt and sunglasses balanced on the brim of their cap. Our server was very pleasant, the pizza was edible and they sold beer, which apparently is rare in this part of the world. The place was packed and obviously very popular with the locals (everyone seemed to know one and other). Pizza 9 is not recommended and the whole town of Grant had a very weird vibe. read more

We stopped here after we went to the ice caves. The staff were all very nice and attentive. We ordered several deep dish pizzas and the bread nuggets with cheese. All the food was amazing. The deep dish pizza was similar in style to the Pizza Hut pan pizza back when it was good. Definitely recommend, the pizza was great. read more

I stopped by this place tonight at 9:15 the lights were on, but when I went in, it looked like they were packed up for the night. The employees were at a table having a grand old time when they inform me that they're closed. All information about this place says they're open till 10pm during the week. How about changing your closing hours to 9pm and shut off the lights at 9? Either way, I'm not coming back. Zero stars! read more

We were looking for a place to eat near Gallup, New Mexico. We enjoyed our food and the garlic bread. One of the order was missing pineapple so they were going to take it back so they gave us the pineapple in a cup. There weren't any pictures inside or outside. I am there are a lot of people who like Pizza 9 at Grants but it sure wasn't for me. My pizza with Anchovies was super salty and the anchovies tasted old and were horrible. I couldn't even eat half a slice. Also very pricey. I know that they have a great fund raising program which is great for the community. read more

Worst. Pizza. Ever. Drove 450 miles today & stopped over in Grants, where there are apparently no Ubers, so was excited to find Pizza 9 with 4.5 stars & to see that they deliver. Went basic: pepperoni, wings & salad. Was surprised to find that, yes, this is most definitely The Worst Pizza I've ever had. Like, grocery store generic frozen is better than this! I would compare the crust to cardboard, but it's dryer & more tasteless than what I would imagine cardboard to be. Dried out, tasteless cheese, barely a hint of any tomato sauce so couldn't tell you what that tasted like. And the wings! So tiny my hubby was convinced they weren't chicken but possibly Dove wings... about 75% mushy skin, 15% bone & 10% meat. Can't tell you what they tasted like because they had no flavor whatsoever. A little gem nestled in Grants, NM. We ate here two of the three nights we were in Grants because the pizza is freaking good! The first night I ordered a deep dish cheese pizza with olives and also partook in a chocolate-dipped cannoli. Both items were so good. The pizza was cooked perfectly and whatever marinara sauce they use was really good. The cannoli was also really good. The second night I had the double dish pizza, which was out of the world and I was full with just two slices. The sauce they use on top was sooo good and I'm usually really picky with my marinara, being Italian. I also had some of my boyfriend's tiramisu, which I don't typically like but the tiramisu Pizza 9 has is really good. We ordered delivery of a bbq chicken pizza and a veggie pizza. The former had very little sauce and was generally considered a bit of a misstep, but the veggie pizza was quite good. I'm not a fan of the Pizza Hut type crust, but that's a matter of taste and others liked it. We really appreciated delivering to us way out of town, and pretty fast as well. The plates would usually be unnecessary but we were just visiting so it was nice to not dirty any plates. read more

5 star pizza joint! Gluten free options available. We have tried the gluten free crust with a few different toppiinga and all are delicious! Their side salad and dressings are good as well. The restaurant is clean, bright and has a lot of seating. There are large tvs to watch games, a bar area and arcade area. For a town this small it is really nice to have such a great pizza spot. I ordered a pizza the receipt is time stamped at 02:08 pm I then sat in the drive through 3 different employees opened the window to speak with us the first one said it would be 5 minutes I ended up waiting 53 minutes to get my pizza in a drive through in this heat. Ordered the Lobo for pickup and thought the flavor was really good. It's nice to have a drive thru and not have to get out of the car. I lived in Chicago for 30 years and what they call deep dish is really just pan pizza. It's similar to a Pizza Hut crust. It's good, just not something a Chicagoan would call deep dish. read more

For a place in the middle of a tiny town called Grants, NM this place was excellent. Delicious pizza that you can tell is fresh and handmade. I specified that one should be meatless, and this specification was not meet. When I complained about the error the manager acknowledged the mistake and stated a refund would be forthcoming. Please be very careful when ordering online. I very carefully and deliberately selected "Delivery" when I placed the order online. When 45 minutes had passed I called asking where was my order and was told they were expecting me to pick it up. They could deliver, of course, but they'd have to charge me (again) for a delivery fee. I canceled the order. Dont' know whose fault it is. Not faulting them, maybe it's their website.
