This place is hilarious. I don't know if people get it. First, I drive by all the time wondering what the heck a French taco is. Finally went in and we take a look at their menu. This is the best form of satire I can think of by the French. I'm sorry you guys always lose wars to us but props, you nailed American cuisine here. There's nothing French about these tacos besides French fries. The people do speak French and are indeed from there, but this whole place. They have huge bowls full of random junk that's standardized to American fast food: fish and chips, Oriental, Indian, just no theme whatsoever other than French fries in everything. And the pizza is good (we got chicken and pepperoni with peppers, don't remember the name)...but it's not French. Like I said props the the owner because not only will people pay for this crap, they will pay even MORE in Beverly Hills of all places because it has "French" next to the name. It doesn't quite work that way in practice but this idea is ingenious. And if I totally misinterpreted this I'm still gonna go with it, cuz that's definitely an idea I'd come up with. read more

If you have been to france, you know their "tacos sandwich" is a big thing, so when i heard they opened one in LA, and it was 100% zabiha halal I was beyond excited. Staff is very welcoming and helpful , and service was great! We ordered a little bit of everything since we were a big group, we got 2 pizzas, 3 tacos and 2 bowls. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious! Special shoutout to the white cheese sauce it was very tasty. Open late with decent fast food offerings. Had the tosti creme taco and the signature pizz'alif. The tosti creme taco was warm and gooey but I wish it had something else, like a pickle or tomato. These can likely be added at a cost and may not make it an authentic French taco, but I wished for it nonetheless. The pizza was sparse with toppings and the cheese was not the highest quality but I think that is reflected in the price. Overall I would've been happy to pay more for better ingredients and more toppings, but at this cost it makes sense. Otherwise service was great, seating was comfortable and the ambience was like a small fast food place in France. Overall I hope they stay open and I will come back, I just see room for improvement. read more

Wow a halal pizza option in beverly hills! Great pizza very light and non greasy. Very sincere and friendly staff. Will be coming again soon. We got a mix of the carnivore and the Boisee. The white sauce on the pizza is not overbearing and a perfect mix. The bbq sauce adds a sweet touch. read more

The French taco is good, first time trying it, pizza dough was home made, it would have been better if dining environment is cleaner and food came out faster. We were the only ones inside but it took almost half an hour for the food to come out. Also when we sit, we realized there are no clean tables or seats, so we asked for napkin to clean the table, the server was nice he said he would wipe it for us, he did but only the table we wanted to seat, shouldn't he wipe all other tables too after he wiped ours instead of going back and talk to his coworker. This is a great hole in the wall in Beverly Hills! This places offers pizza and tacos, and is fully halal. It's definitely unique. The cheeses aren't the typical mozzarella and cheddar that, respectively, we associate with pizza and tacos. Instead, Pizzalif uses European cheeses like Raclette and Chevre for its pizzas, which are all unique. The pizzas also very cutely have a French flag/toothpick posted in the middle. I split a taco and a pizza with a friend, and the portions are very generous; we finished the taco and could only finish half the pizza. Overall, I liked the taco more than the pizza. The taco was perfectly spiced, perfectly toasted, and perfectly cheesy. In contrast, I think the pizza is a bit heavy for me. I appreciate them using luxurious French and Swiss cheeses, and it definitely offers a uniqueness to the pizza, but the pizza as a result is on the heavy side. Overall, a great restaurant, and I especially liked their tacos. read more

I was excited that this pizza place opened next to our neighborhood but was disappointed in the quality of their pizza. The inside of the store front is nice and updated with some signs of still setting up the kitchen. There is very limited in store seating. The ordering can be on the phone, on a touchscreen wall, or over the counter. The touchscreen seemed to be placed in a bad location because of someone was ordering at the counter others could not get to the touchscreen to order. The menu itself is good and we got two pizzas. The crust and cheese almost tasted like store bought frozen pizza and the toppings are very sparse. Especially with how expensive their pizzas were. With their pricing, almost $40 for 2 pizzas, it was not up to par. The sauce was good though. We did not try their tacos yet so I will likely give them another chance to see if the other food is good. Plus, I like to see small businesses pop up. After driving by this place for a few months, I finally decided to give it a try today. The tastefully decorated indoor dining area is small, with a few tables. There are a few tables outside. The employee was nice & courteous. There's quite a selection on the menu, and, I settled for the veggie pizza. I'm not sure what french-style pizza is, but, I loved it. The amount of toppings & pizza sauce seemed to be on the skimpy side compared to what other pizzerias offer. The medium crust wasn't heavy, which is a plus for me. I'm sorry, I hate leaving bad reviews but this was possibly the worst pizza I've ever had. Soft, frozen, grocery store pizza-type crust and just no flavor and practically no tomato sauce at all. Worked to get through 3 slices because I was starving and threw the rest away. The people seemed nice, I wanted to like it, but it was just plain awful. They market themselves as French-style pizza, which should have been a big red flag, but I tried it because it had 4.5 stars on google and it's down the street from my house but with so many better options within a 5 minute drive, I won't be back. This place was open late so we decided to try it and the one guy working here I believe his name was Yasin, was amazingly nice and helpful and he offered me and my girlfriend a bite to try their signature cheese sauce pizza and it was surprisingly very good considering I am a regular pepperoni pizza kind of guy.
