I love coming to Guisados for their tacos, especially the chicharrón taco--it's one of my favorites! Every location I've tried has been great, but we especially love the WeHo location because it's open late. It's the perfect spot to stop for tacos after having a few drinks and dancing the night away. Their aguas frescas are also really good, and the staff is always friendly, professional, and welcoming. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I'm craving tacos, especially late at night!
I can't lie - I kinda feel Guisados should leave me a review after a fantastic experience at the West Hollywood location. Came in for a quick bite to eat before a show down the street at the Troubadour. Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was made promptly and brought out to us. It was towards the end of our meal that things got interesting as I had asked for hot sauce for my taco sampler The server mentioned some super spicy taco they had. Now I can handle extreme heat (I could do Hot Ones no problem) and more often than not I'm let down by what most places consider spicy. Not this time however I knew it was gonna be good when the staff from the kitchen started to check me out after it was ordered. They were being sly but by the end of the taco I feel as if I had earned their respect, I'd give it a 7 on my heat scale - it was hot and also delicious. My friends love this place, but for me it was just ok. I guess just not my style of taco. I will say the tacos are very filling. The homemade tortillas were good, but the combination of flavors didn't work well for me. The fresh agua de melón was a hit though. Not something I would crave, but i would come back to see if maybe I would like something else on the menu. You can tell they use fresh ingredients.
As good as it could for tacos. Mole poblano, chicken tinga, bistec rojo and bistec piacado are incredible. So too is the horchata brew. The service is always kind and the ambiance is chill.
This places super delicious on this time we came out for lunch, but I have also been here late at night after the club lol the tacos are so freaking delicious. Their salsa is amazing. I like that. They have a good little variety this time I got the breakfast taco as well as a salad which was freaking phenomenal. Everything is so flavored so well the tortillas are delicious. The salsa is delicious The cut of meats are good. And I tried one of their tamales for the first time which was also so good. I had a really good flavor really cool and polite staff quick service nice ambience, small quaint, but gets a job done. And the horchata cold brew was bomb

Loved the outdoor seating at this one! Came here since I visited another one and I got the sampler last time and this time as well it's such a great value! Tacos were fantastic just like last time this time we got beef steak and chicken! Server was great kind and the horchata was so smooth, creamy, and sweet!
Parking here is the worst, but this guisados was open later than the one in Beverly Hills on a Sunday night. A little disappointed they didn't have the mushroom taco when we visited, and I wish thy had higher quality fish than Swai, but I appreciate that they have a plethora of vegetarian options. The bean and cheese taco and vegan taco were a nice pairing.
This place has amazing tacos! I always get their asada and chicken tacos and it's awesome every time. The tacos are bursting with flavor, and the price is super reasonable. I also tried their lemonade, and let me tell you, it's incredible; so refreshing! If you're looking for a quick bite, I highly recommend it. Just a heads-up, even though it's called quick, it usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get your food, since it's a super busy area. I definitely suggest taking a table as soon as you go in because it fills up fast, and you don't want to be stuck holding your food with no place to sit. I wish the manager would address the seating issue, but I get it; it's a hectic spot. Still, the food is fantastic, and that lemonade is out of this world!
Came here on a Sunday around 3 pm. Of course there's metered parking close by and at this time there were plenty of spots a few blocks away. I had heard of guisados but never tried until this point. I decided to get the 6 taco sampler so I could try as many flavors of taco as I could. The steak picado and cochinita pibil were by far my favorite! They had the strongest and most savory flavor! I think the chicharrón was my least favorite because of the texture. This location is small but feels spacious with outdoor seating and high ceilings. The service was fast and efficient. I'm not dying to come back, these tacos were more Cali-Mex style and I wouldn't get some of the flavors again. I definitely prefer more Mex taco stand style tacos but I'm happy to have tried it! Its possible I'd get it again if the location is convenient because it's not too expensive and it's good enough to take visitors.
Amazing tacos!! Found myself here after striking out looking for parking on the streets of Beverly Hills. The owner was so kind and gave us samples of their homemade Hibiscus juice. Everything is made in house and it shows! We had the taco sampler ($11) and a corn tamale. Service was fast, friendly, and there's a good amount of seating. Definitely stop by for a taco or breakfast burrito (next on my try list!).
Guisados is delicious! I went initially to try the mole tacos because I love mole and fell in love with other ones. The Conchita Pibil (pork) & Steak Picado (steak with green pepper) were my favorite. They were the most flavorful. The pork was also spicy. I love spice though so I didn't mind it. It also has a sweetness too, that balances out. The Horchata was very delicious, creamy, and milky. The milkiness helped balance out the sweetness so it was sweet, but not too sweet. All in all their food and beverage was very flavorful and I will go back! The staff had good energy and was helpful so that's always a plus going to a restaurant. The ambience was very chill and casual inside.
The food was okay. It was convenient. The burrito was ok for $10. Workers were okay. They made a mistake and instead of honoring the mistake they made me pay more. Restaurant can get packed after hours, bathrooms were decent.

I visited this taco spot on a late night out in West Hollywood and the tacos I had here weren't good. I ordered 3 tacos a staff member recommended me (don't remember the names of them). The masa tortillas weren't fresh and tasted gritty. They were room temperature and I would've preferred them warm. The meat ratio was generous, but they were super watery and there was a pool of liquid at the bottom of my plate. The flavor of the meats was just meh, a bit diluted for good Mexican food. The only saving grace here was the shrimps which were plump and juicy, but still not enough to carry this experience. The shop interior is on the smaller side, but there are a good amount of tables and chairs. There's also a bathroom which seemed clean. The service was pretty good here. read more

Walking bye I saw they had tacos so I stopped.. Wow am I glad I did as each was delicious! I got 2 steak tacos & they were nice and juicy & full of flavor, a chicken tinga which was also very good, the best one was the shredded pork it started out sweet and ended with spice that was the perfect level. I was blown away and will come back again soon! read more

Guisados is solid for tacos, but at the same time these are just upscaled tacos in a way? I think they've mastered their sauces and flavors, but the prices are set a little higher than your street taco stands. It's delicious none the less. They do charge for additional lime and hot sauce, which is a bummer. It's good to eat again once in a while but I would go to a street taco stand over this anyday! read more
I think these are some solid tacos. From everything I've heard I was expecting something out of this world, but they're just really good tacos. Small menu. Made me think if the tacos are this good why not have a bigger choice of a menu and give us some more of this deliciousness, but their locations are a little small for that I guess. The staff was very friendly and explained some choices I could make. The store itself is just kind of quick fast food seating but since you're in West Hollywood, it's good people watching. read more
I've been coming to Guisados since I lived in LA in 2016. It is a place that I made sure to go eat every time because the tacos were really good. This was the first time I've gone that I have been disappointed. All the tacos had the same flavor as they were just overly spicy. There was no other flavor like they used to have. I'm hoping this was just a bad day and will give them another chance when I go back. read more

I was visiting LA for the first time during a work trip and wanted to try some authentic tacos, and I'm so glad I came to Guisados! My colleague and I arrived on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I was pretty indecisive so I went with the sampler, and I'm so glad I did. I wasn't too hungry, so this was perfect as I got 6 mini tacos. I loved how each taco was unique in its own way, varying in taste, spice levels, texture, and look. These were easily some of my favorite tacos during my trip! The pricing was standard, nothing too crazy. The horchata was also some of the tastiest I had! Other than that, there was a strange occurrence where a woman sitting at the table behind mine was in the process of getting arrested. Here we are, eating our tacos, and security was waiting to escort this woman off the premises. It was an interesting experience to say the least! read more

Classic Taco spot around LA and this is the West Hollywood location. I always end up getting the smaller when I'm not super hungry, but need a little something that will make me full and not too stuffed. This location is busy late at night after the bars and during the day not too bad. Service is pretty fast and they get food out quickly. There are a few tables indoors and an outdoor area. Overall, a good reliable spot to get some tacos! read more

Stopped here on vacation. The menu had a large selection of tacos and other items. I asked the server if there was something he could recommend or what was their top selling tacos he replied "there's a lot". Unfortunately that didn't help me decide what to order. I decided to try the sampler. It came with 6 delicious filling mini tacos. The restaurant was next to many restaurants/ bars. The tables outside is great for people watching. read more

Hello, just wondering how likely would it be to go with a party of 17 and be able to find seating?
Definitely not. This place only seats about 20-30 people at one time anyway, and it's almost always packed.
