Upon walking in I loved the fact that you could see the guys making the pizza. Literally they were cutting the dough, flouring it, rolling it out, and topping it right in front of you. The oven was right there too and it was pipping hot. The guys were moving so fast filling orders. My friends and I looked at their menu and decided to get their margherita pizza. She got hers with mushrooms and mine with none. Despite it being a crazy busy Friday night we got our pizzas within about 15 minutes and headed to her place. By the time I started to dig in my pizza had gotten a little cold, but it still tasted amazing. The cheese had a rich smoky flavor and the sauce was slightly salty and full of tomatiness! I was only able to get through about half the pizza before my stomach said stop, so the rest of the pizza will be breakfast or lunch! When I am back in Madrid I will be making another stop here!

The location is heavily decorated (maybe too much?) with Italian themed art decor and other items. The interior of the restaurant has lots of tables but they are separated into smaller segments for better privacy and less noise. Service was top notch - prompt, friendly and flexible as we fitted in our toddler into the table too. Food was fresh and came rapidly. The menu is broad. There is a wide range of dishes, including many kinds of pasta and a broad range of Neopolitan style pizzas with a delicious thin crust. The actual food quality was uniformly great. All our dishes were delicious. My pizza was great. One of my wife's all-time favourite Italian dishes (Provola alla Pizzaiola - aka Cheese Soup) was available here. It is the first time we have found it outside Italy, and it was just as good as she remembered. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. We ended up here because I'd done advance planning and this was the Italian place I thought would be best, and neither of us were disappointed.

It was fantastic and I came back this year on my latest visit to see if they still had it. Nope. I instead ordered Avocado Toast with the poached egg on top as a-la-carte. Well ... what came back to me this time was indeed a large flat piece of toast with a pile of smashed avocado on one side and a poached egg solo on the right side. Huh?? Didn't know there was gonna be THAT big of a change in the menu. Alas, if I ever find myself here again, I'm going to order things directly off the menu instead of trying to improvise like I did this time. :-/

We went for a local favorite, ham and cheese croquettas and a small chicken quesadilla. Beer and wine was fine. Fast service. Maybe too fast in case of the food. Croquettas were warm-ish. Crust was crispy, but inside was 99 percent cheese and bland. Maybe they are on a campaign to reduce food cost. Maybe a war on food cost. Food cost Inquisition? Chicken quesadillas were, to put it mildly, sad. Served at room temperature. Mushrooms pretending to be chicken. Texture implied they were made in the morning (maybe) and reheated at 8:30 pm ever so slightly. We left 80 percent of all the food on the plate when asking for the check. The waiter didn't flinch. Twenty-eight euros and maybe 28 minutes later, we were out the door. Maybe they serve some thing or things better from the over-achiever menu. However, this initial experience did not encourage us to go back to try anything else. No Bueno. Service: Fast Ambience: Yes

It was served hot, and the price was not bad (~7-8euros for one entire pizza), but I did not like the mushrooms at all. I hate marinated shitake mushrooms, and having them on a pizza does not make it any better. The smell is pungent, and so is the taste. While other kinds of mushrooms have a milder flavor that brings out the meat flavor in a pizza, shitake mushrooms overpower the rest of the flavor of the pizza. Even when removed, I can still taste the residual mushroom on the pizza. The rest of the toppings were average, but the crust/dough was nice and crispy and hot. I will not be coming back ever again unfortunately.
