There was only a small sign among all the other store signage. I first went to the customer service desk, where I was told to go to the registers. Once I got there, I was looking for a self-service return kiosk and had to ask the cashier where it was. He pointed to a sign at another register, which I had overlooked because I was expecting an actual self-service kiosk. When I found the kiosk area, I realized there wasn't a self-service option after all, so I got in line at the regular register. The associate immediately said, rather rudely, "Go by the register and wait for me." I apologized and explained that I had been looking for a self-service kiosk. He replied, "There is no such thing here." He then came over and logged into the register without saying anything else. I had my QR code ready, and he scanned it. Since I had two separate items to return, I picked up one item to clarify which return matched the QR code he had just scanned. His response was, "Do you want me to do my job or not?" I was completely shocked and embarrassed. I immediately apologized and explained that I was only trying to separate the two returns. He responded, "All returns are separate," and continued processing them. When he finished applying the return labels, he simply stood there. I was expecting a receipt but felt so intimidated by the interaction that I was afraid to ask for one. As I started to walk away, he said, "I'm sorry if I upset you." By that point, my eyes were already filling with tears. I walked out of the store crying. My husband, who had been waiting in the car, couldn't understand how such a simple return had gone so badly in just a few minutes. He wanted to go back inside and speak with the associate, but I asked him not to. The associate was not wearing a name badge, so I cannot identify him by name. I can honestly say this was the poorest customer service I have ever experienced in a retail store. Everyone has difficult days, but there is never a reason to speak to a customer in such a disrespectful and dismissive manner. I left feeling humiliated over what should have been a routine return.

Hours are 7:30am-4:30pm M-F so you're better off getting your order in early and they can usually turn it around in less than 24hrs. I've often emailed a doc in the evening after they're closed, get a reply back from Dave around 7:30am, and have my prints that afternoon. - Call to get an estimate or email (easternp@rochester.rr.com) They do everything -- posters, banners, flyers, trimming, etc. and the quality is flawless! An example, I had an order of 200 postcards (trimmed too) I needed printed plus 30 12x18 posters -- total ~$65 frim Eastern Printing. Last year when I printed only 200 postcards elsewhere (FedEx, ahem...) it was over $100! It was a hassle too. I will 100% be supporting Dave and his team. They do great work, are fast, and cost effective. That's the best of all worlds.

But...sometimes this is the place where some retailers want you to use as your spot to return merchandise. Like UPS Store for Amazon and the like. Now I had to come here to do a return as the company uses "Happy Returns" This is a long and narrow store, they have a few self serve kiosks for printing/copying and the like. A few people were in here to ship things and ask questions. So since I really was not sure where to stand, I stood behind a customer and someone asked "can I help you?" I told her I needed to do a return and I showed her the QR Code and it did not work, tried it again no go, even typed it in and she even logged out of the system. Finally she asks someone is there an issue with Happy Returns and they said yes. So guess what I have to come back, with the package and my QRcode from my email on my phone. My only other option for a return was Staples and dear reader I live in the city. If I'm going out that way I had best have other things to do in Henrietta. I'll have to come back to do the return and it's in a convenient spot in the strip mall of 12 Corners and if I want a piece of pizza at Joe Brooklyn or Starbucks or a Bagelland bagel Staff is helpful enough but they just seem kind of annoyed it is what it is.
