Pixie is an amazing photographer. We hired her to capture our wedding and she braved the cold and snows of Minnesota in February to cast her magic on our big day. She made everyone feel completely comfortable, and was able to capture moments filled with emotion and clarity. Half of the wedding and reception we didn't even know she was there, but the photos came out amazing. Highly recommended to anyone that wants the best of the best. read more

When I met Pixie I was very excited to have her as my wedding photographer, realizing, that the photographer would be a huge part of my day, in my face and behind the scenes the whole time. You bet I wanted her excitement, warmth, enthusiasm, and experience. It was like hiring that perfect best friend out of a romantic comedy about weddings. Photography-wise, as soon as I booked Pixie for my wedding, I breathed a sigh of relief. No matter what went wrong with the wedding, it was going to look amazing! All the DIY touches and eccentric surprises were captured perfectly. While there were tons of small things that went wrong with the wedding day, none of it shows on our smiling faces in Pixie's photographic vision. The photos that we received are a drool worthy collection of fairy tale images. They are available to view on her site. It's not an exaggeration when I say Pixie's photography was the highlight of the wedding experience. When I asked people what their favorite part of the wedding was, obviously it was not the photographer, but most people mentioned Pixie's happiness and energy as point three or four of what stood out in the day. She was able to work both adults and small children into happy poses. The enjoyment and enthusiasm was authentic. Pixie and her assistant got so swept up in the day they took the plunge with us, fully clothed, into the pool. What a great shot! When the wedding process started for me I had to be talked into spending more money on a photographer by my fiance and family. I thought we'd just hire some student with a camera. Then I was told that we were spending all this money on the wedding and the pictures were the things that would live on. Now that I am on the other side I'm impressed by how little the cost actually was for all the photography work and all the loving retouch work on hundreds of photographs. If you are lucky enough to book her, don't hesitate. read more

Pixie photographed my wedding. Not only was she a pleasure to work with, but she was so organized and professional. She has a great eye and gave us some wonderful memories of our wedding. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. She also made working with her very easy, which is much needed when planning a wedding! She even did a wonderful job making do with finding a place to take the group photographs, as our venue didn't offer much, and I have to admit I was no help when it came to that. I am so thankful that she not only pulled it all off, but was so very nice, easy to work with, organized to boot, and delivered gorgeous photographs. I highly recommend her! read more

Pixie has such amazing talent!! Her pictures are simply breath taking!! She knew exactly where the areas were for our pictures. When my family saw the finished photographs they were astonished. On top of that she is so sweet! Now we can happily say she has photographed both my sister's and my wedding and we couldn't be more pleased! THANK YOU! read more

My siblings and I hired Pixie to photograph my father's surprise 70th birthday party. In addition to being a true professional, an artist, and a master of her craft, Pixie an absolute and utter delight to work with!! I knew from our first phone call that she would be the right person to capture the magic of our event. A lot of love went into the planning of the party, and it was truly a celebration of our dad. Pixie was able to capture with her camera the atmosphere of joy and the true expressions of love that were palpable during the party. These photos are a priceless treasure, as they will allow us to look back and revisit the gleeful smiles and hugs any time we wish. During the party, Pixie was simultaneously omnipresent and invisible, zipping around the hall capturing candid moments, as well as motivating (sometimes reluctant) guests to pose for pictures in front of a backdrop. Pixie quickly posted our photos to an online album, which is allowing us to effortlessly download and share the pictures with family and friends- this alone is a generous service that has added to our ease in working with her. We will be wholeheartedly recommending Pixie to other friends and family, and I look forward to working with her again someday! read more

Pixie was the only Photographer I wanted for my wedding. She is a wonderful photographer who knows how to blend into the wedding, and still capture amazing photos. Her and her assistant were a pleasure at the wedding, and I love the photos I've received. She is wonderful at replying via email. The day of the wedding she is very direct when giving feedback on portrat shoots, and set up our "1st look photo." We appreciated her direction being neither my Groom or I are models. I would highly recommend Pixie Vision Productions for anybodies wedding. read more

Pixie did an outdoor photo shoot for our family, complete with our baby and three dogs. It was total chaos at the time, but the final shots were worth it -- they are beautiful with an almost ethereal quality. We were given a TON of images to choose from (almost 900 shot in just about an hour), and she provided the proofs super fast (within an hour of the shoot). We've actually had other professional photos taken that cost quite a bit less, but we got many more pictures to choose from this time, and she definitely exceeded our expectations when it came to editing the images. In some cases, she provided four or five options (different filters, etc.) for a single image so you really get a lot for your money. Pixie also knows what looks good in a shot and keeps reminding you during the shoot, which admittedly can be off-putting at times, but is very much appreciated once you view the proofs. I've also appreciated how well Pixie communicates -- from the first email to when I received the final images, she has been very responsive and clear with expectations. We're really happy with our family photos and would hire Pixie again! read more

She was amazing! I hired her to do corporate head shots for my company, about 25 people. She was quick, professional and was able to get even the most rigid people out of their comfort zone to get a great picture. I couldn't recommend her enough! read more

Pixie brings a sense of joy and whimsy with her and this shows in her photography. When I was planning my fantasy themed wedding, I knew I needed a special photographer to capture the magic. Pixie and her assistants were so much fun to work with. These are the kind of people you want to be celebrating with! Pixie's portrait work is stellar and she really understood the look I was going for. I found Pixie to be a great communicator both before and after the wedding. She took care to find out about our needs and was very organized. After the wedding, she was extremely flexible and considerate about my requests. She has amazing customer service and aims to please. Thank you, Pixie Vision! read more

She is tiny like a pixie doll but by far the most energetic person I've ever encountered, she rocks!!. I'm a professional photographer and I was reluctant to hire someone I hadn't worked with before, after all it was my daughter's wedding. She came highly recommended and I now know why. The photos are awesome, her assistant was so together and pleasant. Pixie is a true professional, I can't say enough about her. The images were delivered in a timely manner, her communication was unparalleled. She does the work of 3 photographers, I'm not kidding!! I wish yelp had more than 5 stars. If you have any questions about the quality of her work feel free to call me. 818-726-5028. By the way I forgot to mention her images are amazing!! Alan Mayer read more

Choosing a photographer for my son's 1st year birthday was such a concern for me. Something in my heart said look at Yelp and I was so blessed to have found our new family photographer Pixie!!! I begin reading all her reviews and said wow this photographer seems to be really great. I called Pixie and she answered her phone right away. What really impressed me from the beginning was that she was organized and very detailed on explaining every step of the process of the photoshoot such as prices, examples of the work she's performed, and also my options of how I could get more pictures even after the shoot was over. Her website and communication via mail is flawless. Super user friendly and well put together. Setting up the appointment was done immediately and her confirming it even though she was about to get on a plane showed me she truly cared about the photoshoot for me and my son as much as I did. As the day finally arrived she helped me on even the smallest details such as clothes suggestions and what to bring that could be fun and that we can maybe use. She was on time at the place we decided to do the photoshoot and her smile was just as I had imagined by the sound of her voice. God sent me an angel. I had just gotten off the phone from a stressful work call but Pixie reminded me this moment was special and how important my energy was to make the pictures reflect all the love I have for my son. Needless to say the photoshoot was a blast. Music in the background, my baby was all smiles for Pixie and her vibrant energy and her guidance on my poses really helped me so so so much. I left feeling so relief and so happy and I knew in my heart we had taken beautiful pictures that captured our love and moment of me and my baby. Soon after the photo session she sent me all the pictures for me to make my selection and I fell in love!!!!! The decision took me a day and a half to make because all pictures just seemed so beautiful. After choosing the ones of my package I actually went and got more. And her art, cause Pixie's photos are truly a work of art were so loved and complimented by all my family members and friends just as much as I loved them!!! I truly want to highly recommend Pixie. She's amazing in every aspect. Patient, kind, sweet, a professional. Thank u so much for everything Pixie. My baby and I love u and I look forward to continue to take more pictures and seeing u put your pixie dust and magic all over them. read more

Pixie Vision Photography - My favorite picture!!!! Thank u Pixie. So so so beautiful. - Event Photography Near Me

Pixie Vision truly raises the bar for professional photography. We worked with Gabriel from Pixie Vision for our wedding in Corona Del Mar. I've never seen a more dedicated photographer, and he was so much fun to work with. He was attentive to all of our needs and was always on the move with lighting rigs, creative ideas, and encouraging words. Pixie herself made sure everything was to our liking in advance and communicated regularly. We were never left wondering if we were making the right choice. I would /highly/ recommend Pixie Vision! read more

I chose pixie based on her yelp reviews. She is so sweet and so professional. She took our wedding photos. We had a really small ceremony not a big wedding and reception so she made our small ceremony feel like a diamond Jubilee. She captured such wonderful moments of my son walking me down the aisle. I loved getting the updates from her and a teaser of a few pictures before the final product was delivered. Her timeframe was pretty exact. I wasn't waiting forever to receive pictures. And it was really great to get a disk with pictures for us separate from pictures I can post online. It makes it really easy. All in all I thought she was wonderful I plan on using her for maternity pictures as well as baby pictures. read more

This last September we finally jumped the broom! Thank you Pixie Vision Photography for such beautiful photos. Unfortunately Pixie wasn't available to shoot but has a STELLAR team that understand hers and the clients vision and we are so very happy we went with her suggestion; Gabriel and his assistant were wonderful and kind and a joy to work with. Truly. We are so happy. Pixie worked her magick (and I am sure MANY hours) on making sure our photos not only looked good but Pixie goes the extra mile and goes with the feel and style of the wedding to design photos that look as fantastical or modern or vintage (or whatever you come up with) as possible. Along with her years of experience in art and her own creativity she really brings images to life. I truly am in love and awed by the vintage styles that were done to some of our photos and the modern cool, sharp, tones in others. I even asked if I could vainly have her smooth out a couple spots in a particular photo and made a few other styles requests for other photos and in less than 24 hours there they were! Communication is astoundingly easy and fast with PIxie. Very professional, and the software she uses to keep in touch and alter things is immediate and easy to use. Thank you Pixie Vision Photography!!! read more

Pixie certainly is as good as it gets! Pixie is not only professional but fun! She has this amazing ability to make you feel totally comfortable while taking shots you would think only professional models should be good at posing for. I highly recommend her for all your professional photography needs. You won't be disappointed. read more

Pixie photographed my wedding in January, and I couldn't have made a better choice. As soon as I spoke to her on the phone, I knew that she was going to be my photographer. She had a very cheerful, friendly attitude and I could tell it would be very easy to communicate with her. I was really happy with how organized she was. She stayed in touch from the time I booked her to the wedding, and sent me reminders for the things that needed to be done, like the shot list, day-of schedule, etc. I am very glad for this, as I had so many other things to worry about. She tried to really get a feel of my style and do whatever I wanted. On the day of the wedding, Pixie was amazing. She had a cheerful, energetic attitude and took many pictures. She was great with her instructions for the poses, and was very good communicating with us. It was obvious that she was really enjoying what she was doing, and had many ideas, but she was also very mindful of what I wanted. She had a lot of great ideas for shots, and I was really amazed with the end results! I am not very photogenic and have a hard time posing and smiling, so it was amazing to see me in great poses and with a smile on my face that did not look remotely dorky, all because of Pixie's tireless instructions and reminders. It is also worth mentioning that Pixie got my pictures to me within a month of my wedding. Everyone just loved the pictures, and they were truly amazed by how fast I got them. In the end, I'm so glad I chose Pixie not only because she was so easy to work with, but also because she captured the feel of the wedding so well with all its emotional, funny, glamorous moments, that it all comes to life again when I look at the pictures. read more

Pixie photographed our May wedding and she did an amazing job! We were looking for a photographer that had more of an artistic approach to wedding photography, and Pixie made all of our wedding photos look magical. I can't say enough good things about Pixie. She was punctual and calming. She was professional. She was polite. She works fast. She has a great attitude. AND SHE TAKES FANTASTIC PICTURES. There's a reason Pixie has 5 stars across the board on all these reviews - she's AMAZING! Once I saw her photos, I knew we wanted her as our wedding photographer. From the very start, she was super responsive and upfront with her contract, expectations, and price. She answered all of my questions ASAP and kept in communication with me throughout the process. She arrived early on the day of my wedding and we were able to get some amazing shots of my wedding party getting ready. Her second shooter and photo assistant were also friendly and easy to work with. Our photos are coming back, and I'm totally in love with them. Pixie may hear from me again in a few years for baby photos! She is a dream and I'm so happy she was there to capture our special day. read more

Pixie Spindel and her team did a wonderful job capturing our wedding. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she invested a lot of time before the wedding making sure that we had a plan in place for all the photos, that we had a list of names and designated family members to help organize everyone for the family pictures, that we had planned out a list of locations for the photos to be taken. This preplanning was key to making the photos go quickly so we had both gorgeous photos and time to enjoy our wedding. We also took our engagement photos with Pixie. My wife and I aren't used to having our photos taken and getting our engagement shots with Pixie made us much more comfortable on the day of the wedding. Having a "practice run" made our wedding day more relaxed. Pixie rocks! We would hire her again! (Especially if kids are in our future). read more

We hired Pixie to photograph our wedding because her photos are simply beautiful, but what we got was So much more! This girl can multitask like no ones business! We only had a short time to take pictures before the reception, I couldn't believe how many shoots she was able to get done and every shot was more amazing than the next! There was so much going on with our reception and Pixie captured it all and with style! Ive been to weddings where the photographer's was always in the way, I barely noticed her except when I needed her! This is who you want shooting your wedding for sure. Thanks Pixie! read more

Pixie took our photos beautifully, quickly, within budget and all done stress free! She was respectful and confident, put everyone at ease, entertaining and hard working. My whole party loved her positive attitude and her creativity. The resulting amazing photos are testament to her immense talent and work ethic. I couldn't be more thrilled. She went the extra mile before my big day in her attention to every piece of communication, and on the day itself in her attention to detail from creative composition, to lighting, to background and even bringing in props. I would recommend her for any job, large or small, knowing you will get high quality images and she will be an absolute pleasure to work with. We will be hiring her again! read more

5 stars is not enough stars to rate Pixie! She is off-the-charts phenomenal in every category--utmost professionalism, contagious enthusiasm, ease to work with (the most lovely person to have with you on your BIG day!), quick turnaround (we were able to enjoy our photographs while we were on our Honeymoon!) and most importantly, stunning -out-of-this-world photography!!! Nobody captures LOVE like Pixie. She has an intuitive quality about her that amazed us--she caught the most heartfelt moments at our wedding that were incredibly personal, essential, and truly reflective of who we are as a couple. It's completely evident that she works so hard and cares so deeply about her clients. You hear nightmare stories about wedding photographers, with Pixie, it's one less thing you have to worry about on your big day--you can be relaxed and assured in knowing that she will perfectly photograph your event. Could not have picked a better photographer for my clan consisting of grumpy teenagers, frisky dog, and us two ADD adults. Pixie had the magic of keeping us all in tune and smiling. Pixie was amazing! Her photographs are pure art and she is great at communicating. She contacted me within an hour of emailing her, and we were able to set up a consultation appointment quickly. Initially, my fiancé and I were only planning on doing wedding photos with her, but after the enthusiasm she showed during our meeting, we were both excited to book her for an engagement shoot as well. Since he and I are both a little camera shy, we thought this would be good practice for the big day. So glad we did that! Turns out, we needed the practice, but luckily for us, Pixie walked us through everything and both the engagement photos and wedding photos turned out beautifully. Pixie was so energetic throughout both shoots. We did feel a bit rushed for the pre wedding shoot - enough so that unfortunately the wedding party didn't have time to grab their flowers (we got the flowers in many other pictures during and after the ceremony) - but I don't know if that's because of the unforeseen traffic that caused her to be a few minutes late or simply because that's how weddings tend to work. After that, though, everything fell into place and Pixie did a wonderful job keeping us on track and capturing our beautiful day. Even though she was heavily booked with other weddings (she even had one the next morning several hundred miles away), Pixie made it a priority to edit our photos and get them back to us in a timely fashion. She also made it easy for guests and family who couldn't make it to the wedding to order prints online. If you want someone who is talented, energetic, and passionate about capturing your big day, go to Pixie! read more

Pixie shot our daughter's bat mitzvah and we could not have been happier with the photos! First of all she is such a pleasure to work with and makes the whole process so simple. While shooting she has such wonderful energy and such a good eye that you can see her art directing each shot on the fly - and the results speak for themselves. From portraits to action shots during the service and at lunch, she completely captured the magic of the day. We couldn't recommend her more highly! read more

We wanted a costumed medieval wedding so we looked for a photographer that understood a creative themed wedding and memorable family portraits. Since we were from AZ, we wanted a local photographer to help sort out requirements, provide coordination between vendors and make suggestions for memorable shots. We met with Pixie on a trip to LA at Tam O'Shanters for venue planning and evaluate lighting for the shots we wanted. She made a number of positive suggestions, and ensured we addressed any issues early. We worked with Pixie to decide "must have shots" and realized we needed a second photographer to cover everything. On the day, they arrived early. From the wedding preparation and getting ready phase of the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and bride, to the limo drive in, and set-up pictures at Tam's, we received amazing pictures! Using her creative flair and in her fairy costume, Pixie ensured she and Sarah got all the pictures we wanted and more. She also took a number of "staged" family portraits within what seemed like a full photo studio! She fit right into the family theme seamlessly while making sure she was in the right place at the right time. This was a huge part of our wedding, the joining and celebration of two families while cloaked in our Medieval theme. Once in the editing phase, Pixie collaborated with us to create truly memorable pictures that told our story of the day while enhancing the basic shots with many different techniques. Our family and friends also raved about how great she was and how comfortable she made everyone feel. Her ability to make everyone at ease and direct what to do for pictures created wonderful memories within the photos. Pixie was helpful, professional, and understood how to support our ceremony with style and grace. We would highly recommend Pixie from PixieVision as your photographer. She did everything she could to ensure she captured our special day with photos that we will always treasure. read more

I just used Pixie as the photographer for my son's Bar Mitzvah. She was incredible. She created a Google document for us to send ideas back and forth to each other so by the time the event came around, we both knew exactly what would be happening, where she would be standing, who she'd be taking photos of, etc. She was unobtrusive, just as I asked, and took a lot of great candid shots, while also covering all the important moments. She will stop at nothing to get a good shot. At one point, she was on the ground with her shoes off! Lighting is very important to her and now that I've seen some of the photos, I wished I hadn't rolled my eyes every time she asked me to move to the left an inch. :) She knew what she was talking about! Typically, it takes a couple weeks to get your photos back, but I asked her to email me a few the next day just so we could get a sneak preview of what was to come. Instead, she sent me nearly 300 edited photos the next day, which was amazing because I still had family in town and we had a great time looking through them all together. She brought an assistant who was so much fun and got some amazing shots as well. They both seemed to be having a great time and to love what they do. It shows in the photos. I would definitely use her again! read more
