Awesome school, we love it, can't say enough. This is my son's second year, he has learned so much. He loves his teachers.

Before daycare, we had an au pair, but we felt he would benefit more from being around other children. Of all the options we explored, Goddard was by far the best choice. The school is safe, clean, and has plenty of outdoor space for kids to run and play, plus an indoor gym for rainy or very cold days. The staff is passionate about their work, maintains strict teacher-to-child ratios, and follows a curriculum that balances fun with learning. We receive photos throughout the day and a helpful en-of-day report. We've been very happy with all my son's teachers over the years. They've made him feel special, encouraged his growth, and helped him form strong friendships. The children motivate one another in such a positive way. Some people mention that tuition is higher than other schools, but we feel it's worth it for the level of care and education provided. You do need to pack lunch and snacks daily, but that's no different from feeding your child at home-and it ensures they'll eat food they enjoy. Coming from NYC, we were expecting long daycare waitlists, so we reached out six months before his start date. To our surprise, we had no issues getting a spot, and he's been enrolled full time since day one. We highly recommend this school.

Where other comparable schools charge $50 for enrollment, Goddard charges $350 non-refundable and then tells you they won't have space for your child. Other schools provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks - at Goddard, despite the tuition being double, there is no lunch provided. If you need to withdraw your child, many schools have a 30-day opt-out clause - Goddard's opt-out clause is 60 days, and you need to be careful because they are extremely vague and unclear when it comes to money. The teachers seemed entirely disinterested in the families and children, the outdoor space is tiny, and the overall environment did not feel welcoming.

Immigrant families and families of color are met with consistent microaggressions and a dehumanizing lack of basic dignity, with performative inclusion masking real bias from staff. Despite having only 12 students, supervision was shockingly poor: children ran through hallways, hit one another without intervention, and eloped from the premises entirely -- a life-threatening failure, especially for students with autism, who received no meaningful support or accommodations whatsoever. The Montessori label is misleading; there was no methodology in practice, only chaos, and rather than adapting work to children's abilities, teachers simply completed the projects themselves. Three of the four staff members appear to have been hired through nepotism rather than any qualification, and the director -- the only credentialed educator -- presided over an operation with no communication, no transparency, and no accountability to families. A school that wraps bigotry and incompetence in religious language is not a safe or honest place for any child.

She loved all of her teachers, loved all the monthly themes and arts and crafts. She ALWAYS came out of school with a smile on her face. As a parent, I felt very comfortable knowing Peanut's was a safe environment with teachers and Directors who truly care about the well being of all of their students. My son is currently enrolled in the 2's program. He has grown so much since the start of the school year; I am already sad thinking about when my Peanut days are over. My son LOVES his teacher and co-teacher. When the teachers greet his class in the morning, my son lights up, smiles so big and rushes to get into the gate. As a Mom of a 2 year old boy, I couldn't ask for anything more, to see my son so excited each school day. I love that both Directors are involved in the classroom and know all the students names. They have been fair and communicated well over the past three years. Peanut's has become a special place for my kids and I am truly grateful!
