He made lots of friends and amazing memories. The teachers are so knowledgeable and teach them so much! I love that they challenge their minds and come home with such amazing projects. We looked at a couple of schools and would definitely recommend this one.

And that teacher didn't tell anybody else my son injured. Finally I realized that bruises and ask what happened. Why nobody tell me that????? My kids got kicked out of summer camp because I questioned their teachers for turning a blind eye to the persistent bullying in their classes. I tried to communicate with the teacher in the class but their teacher was extremely rude and yelled at me at the door. I have witnesses to see it all. I don't think this is the professional way to handle when facing parental doubts. Their teacher hid behind their leader like a little girl and dared not face me to answer my questions. come on! You're an adult and it's your job, you're my kid's teacher, why am I not talking to you, it's not protecting the staff, it's shielding the staff I was threatened that my child would be removed from summer camp if I was sending any messages to the teacher. I didn't use any threatening or abusive words in the message, I just questioned why she turned a blind eye to bullying. More than one parent contacted her to ask about their child being bullied, and she all said she couldn't see it. Instead, she accused my child of fighting back against the classmates who bullied him, and she said that when my child was beaten, should tell teacher first. That's so funny. My son has been bullied by that kid for almost a month and he told me almost every day when he comes home. In the end, the leader of this school said that I would threaten the safety of their employees and deprived my son of the opportunity to continue to attend classes in this school. She said that I slapped the glass door so hard that all the employees were scared. It was really funny. You don't have a doorbell at the back door. You left me outside the door before we finished speaking. Sometimes I would slap the glass door like this when you were late in the morning. Why didn't you call the police if I was really a threat to safety? When you deal with conflicts between parents and teachers, you are mixed with too many personal emotions and prejudices, and you are not worthy of being a qualified leader. Because you don't care about your students at all, you don't even have a word of concern or apology for my child's injury to you, it's horrible. The accident report you provided to me is awful. You even don't know how to spell my son's name. And you didn't watch video carefully the report's detail is wrong. This report was completed after repeated confirmation three times. Your work attitude really needs to be more serious. I will recommend all my friends don't go this school

My child was ABUSED at Tutor Time and we are still waiting on the video even though we were told…read morethere was a 48-hour turn around time. Let's start at the beginning, the tour. The director Christina should win an Oscar for her acting skills. She will promise you the world and pretend that she cares about your child. We wanted a daycare closer to home so we decided to switch our child over to Tutor Time. Once your child is enrolled, you actually see the horrific practices of this establishment. There is absolutely no structure. Children do whatever they want. There is always a different adult in the room. Additionally, they are not compliant with the state laws, which requires 1 teacher for every 5 toddlers. My child was often in a room with 7 other children and 1 unfamiliar face. As previous reviews mentioned, this is a puppy mill that only wants your money. During an 8 hour day, my child's diaper was only changed twice. State law requires that diapers be changed every 2 hours. One of the many teachers we saw often spoke down to the children, "you guys are three and you don't know how to place your hands on the wall?" We often walked past the infant room in the afternoon and saw babies crying hysterically because no one was paying attention to them. One day, another baby was biting the edge of a bookshelf as she was teething. No one stopped her from biting the bookshelf and its varnish coating. My maternal instinct knew something was wrong but I just needed my little one to last a few weeks until June. I asked my brother to pick up my little one from Tutor Time because I was going to be at work past my regular schedule. My brother and his girlfriend went in before my usual pick up time and upon walking to the classroom they saw the teacher, Janet, DRAGGING MY CHILD BY ONE ARM ACROSS 5 FEET OF CARPET. THIS DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING ATTEMPTED TO PICK UP MY CHILD BY ONE ARM AND DROPPED HIM. My brother immediately told the director, who did not remove Janet from the classroom for another two hours. Christina, the director, was suddenly worried about ratio issues. Compliance is never a concern for them but that day it was. Furthermore, Christina forced herself to cry, in an attempt to show empathy. We were promised the video evidence within 48 hours. We are way past the 48-hour deadline and still waiting for answers. Run far away from this place. I would never want this to happen to any other child.

Apparently he was allowed to roam freely, and not made to participate in activities. They're in 2 different age groups. The kids are basically shoved into a classroom and may go outside for 20 minutes a day (unless outside time is canceled due to cold weather, or hot weather, or weather in general). DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE. They are, like others have stated, the puppy mill of daycares.

Some days she was extremely difficult for my wife in the morning and had to go to the program in her pjs. Mind you it was 3 hour sessions, three days a week. We had a teacher Ms. Diane who not only called my wife about this; she seemed annoyed and disgusted on the phone. One day she went ahead and called my wife in her seemingly annoyed tone stating "You need to have your kid evaluated." My wife replied with "she has been.. hence why she gets speech there twice a week". One day I picked up my daughter and overheard the teacher say to another teacher "I have to remind myself that these are not third and fourth graders... That's what I'm used to teaching". That's nice; then go back and teach those grades since you're not willing to be equipped to handle younger kids developing with speech, behavior issues, or possible occupational therapy being with needed. Speaking to some other parents whose kids were in my daughters particular class agreed that this teacher and this place should NEVER be allowed to take in any kids with an IEP of any kind. My daughter hated going there at such a young age. Let's fast forward a year to UPK in Island Trees school district; NIGHT AND DAY difference! My daughter's teachers were so amazing (Ms. Tina and Ms. Gabby to name a few) that we all were upset when the school year ended. Just goes to show you some teachers are amazing and some are not. I'm a civil servant and you either get someone on the phone that will do their job and assist anyone anytime or someone who just shows up to work.

I certainly did enjoy all the colorful, bright, fun work that was sent home! To add to the silver lining, the communication from school to home is excellent, However, if your child has any kind of struggle - emotionally, behaviorally, academically, in reaching milestones - I'd highly recommend looking for another arrangement. At my request, my son was evaluated two months into the year and qualified for speech and occupational therapy. Both of these factors delayed his letter and number learning as well. His teacher had no patience for him whatsoever. I heard nothing but negative feedback from the beginning of the year, and did not see any attempts made to modify his classroom behavior, motivate him, or differentiate to meet his needs. There were no sticker charts offered, no modified, multi-sensory work to help with his delay in learning letters, no small, attainable goals set for him - there were just a series of complaints. It was only thanks to his wonderful service providers from outside the school that my son finally started to make progress toward the end of the year. Still, it didn't feel like enough, and, as my son started kindergarten, I was convinced he would have the same issues. Not so. Within a week, his teacher knew exactly what he needed, got him on a behavior chart, and I'm amazed that he's currently able to do so many of the things his preschool teacher insisted he just couldn't do - all he needed was the right teacher. It was a different world - one where my son actually felt motivated and capable, which he hadn't felt at Tendergarden at all. It's sad to me that an early childhood setting would do so little to help a child who just needed a little extra support, encouragement and love, but, sadly, that was my experience there. It is my hope that this may be limited to this one teacher, and perhaps the added stressors of teaching PreK during a pandemic, but, if you are concerned about your child, perhaps research other places where he or she may get more support. Preschool is supposed to be an enjoyable start to school, so I really hope no other children have the disappointing year that my child did.

Teachers leaving mid year, due to the challenging behavior from the director and teachers. The only qualified educator is the director, everyone else has just had experience around children. There was never a proper curriculum and the director went by the day or what they felt like was "appropriate". Mostly deserted school with only a couple of students. Not culturally appropriate towards other students nor staff, not understanding that some people speak different languages. This is their structure precisely, the hours ran from 8:45am-11:45am three days a week due to low numbers. The teachers couldn't even bother to ask them to walk, but have the students running, and eloping. Unfortunately early intervention is not a thing here because they assume that they can just take away autism. Please with the resources we have today, it's important to value your children and their learning. None of the students had any fine gross motor skills, they have trouble with words, shapes. Most projects are being done by the teacher so that's why they look amazing. It is unfortunate that the don't even know what curriculum they teach, I've practiced Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and even the Waldorf approach. None of those approaches were practiced at this church school. Genuinely this place is questionable and I recommend elsewhere, for the sake of your child's readiness.

My son is currently enrolled in the 2's program. He has grown so much since the start of the school year; I am already sad thinking about when my Peanut days are over. My son LOVES his teacher and co-teacher. When the teachers greet his class in the morning, my son lights up, smiles so big and rushes to get into the gate. As a Mom of a 2 year old boy, I couldn't ask for anything more, to see my son so excited each school day. I love that both Directors are involved in the classroom and know all the students names.
